This is a good facility, conveniently located in New Hope. It’s family friendly & has lots of group class options. Love the drop-in childcare “Kids Stuff”. In summer the splash pad is fun. My only wish is that they’d update it - or even make it bigger???

Unsafe. Guy runs amok and talks awful to many women. Another Guy who waves around his raggedy board member title does nothing. Many other gyms attended. All are way better than this clown show. Nobody I care for will even drive past this place without knowing this. There were 3 staff that were ok. Looks like others have suffered the same thing, based on other reviews. Awful. I have ADHD. I was told to go to Lifetime. I have. A couple other ex New Hope Y members are there too. Hmmm interesting. Be warned. Old, not updated, and inappropriate and not just the aesthetics, the culture and belief system.

Never have I ever walked into an establishment and listened to an employee giving a member the fifth-degree about what he's there to do and that his membership is no good when it was clearly active. I thought she wasn't going to call the police for a moment only to have the comments continue in the locker room and negative remarks being made, untill he grab his stuff and left.. I think I will clearly be canceling my membership at this point. Our community needs major help.

I went to the gym earlier this year, and I had an overdue balance for the month of May. I was notified of the overdue balance by mail at the beginning of October. The balance was due by October 10th, and at the conclusion of the 10 days notice they sent my information to a collection agency. I didn't even have the time to get a paycheck to pay the balance. I didn't expect much from this business, but a little more notification would not have been too much to ask.

With Covid-19, this place has turned into a disaster. We continue to pay fees on top if fees, and for what? We’re told we have to reserve a time for the use of the gym, only to see that they don’t enforce it and my 2 children couldn’t even get a 10’ x 10’ space to play soccer without having random basketballs hitting them in the head multiple times. If you’re going to slot out time for use of equipment and/or gym space, it needs to be enforced to ensure the safety of others.

Edit: Since this incident, we have cancelled our membership. The fact that they’re only doing some things for COVID-19 restrictions but not enforcing them makes this a joke. We’ve taken the money that we’re saving and invested it in another local business.

My children have attended childcare, School Age Care, and Summer Power 10 years. Initially great programming. But, in the last 2 years significant decline in quality and programming outside of fieldtrips. Children are often inactively supervised. Lots of unstructured time which leads to behaviors. They're unable to keep consistent staff in any programs due to low pay and lack of training. Directors are in denial of the need for a complete overhaul. There has been many incidents where parents have approached children aggressively. Most recently a parent approached my child and physically threatened her. With parent pressure they finally agreed to remove the parent from programming but were not transparent that she had full access to the building through other programming her children were enrolled in.

I grew up going to this YMCA, and I gotta say it's got a great indoor and outdoor pool, good childcare service, tons of different types of weight machines and excersize/ stretching classes. It's perfect for really any age. They have daycare for toddlers and silver sneakers classes. Plus the workers and trainers are awesome!

This place is a horrible mix of a daycare and a teen hangout. Then there are the old people that have no clue about gym etiquette, but have no problem staring at you or complaining when you have used a piece of equipment they want to use for more than 20 seconds. If this is what you're looking for, it will be perfect for you. But if you want a gym, go elsewhere.

The New Hope YMCA is in a great location, definitely an older building but all the equipment is top notch and well maintained. The gyms are also nice and well maintained with a track in the upper area of the gym. Unfortunately it's small, with 1 mile being 18 laps. Overall it's a quality facility that I enjoy having so close to where I live.

Even though this an older YMCA, all of the machines are up to date. The facility is clean. My daughter told me that the under 18 locker room was a bit wild and crazy. I have found the adult locker room to be nice, quiet and clean.
