I've had the same experience as some other parents writing reviews; when there are concerns, you hear absolute crickets. My daughter has a new class and teacher thanks to a very nice front desk woman, but I never received the call I was told I would get to discuss a teacher making my daughter get up from her spot & take her pants off after class started and not letting her continue gymnastics class after I said she was uncomfortable (it was quite obvious). Its in their handbook they may wear pants/shorts (plus shes only FOUR). Her new teacher is wonderful so I really think it depends on who is teaching as we've never had an issue in dance. It's difficult to get anyone on the phone, or to take care of financial things, but overall we enjoy it.

My Granddaughter has been with North Crest and as always been well taken care of and has been trained and treated with respect and love. Think it one of the best dance outfits that St Cloud has.

Ms. Ayriel told my 2 year old at the time, that she was “disappointed in her.” We have never used that word with her, and she made her cry in class. She singled her out and we could tell she was previously irritated with her last class. She let all of the other kids get up to grab their things and drink water except my daughter. She told her to sit and wait. Yes my daughter was zoning out and looking around not paying attention a couple of times, but there were other kids running off during the lesson. So we made a complaint because my daughter was heartbroken, and they sided with the teacher. This happened a few MONTHS ago. We enrolled my daughter at another gymnastics location and she still brings up the situation. She says “other teacher is disappointed in me.” “Other teacher is mean mom.” My heart breaks every time she brings this up. The office told me that Ms. Ayriel has high expectations, and standards for her students. The class was ages 2-3! This was my daughters very first impression of a teacher figure and she let her down. I hope no other parent and child has to deal with this unprofessional behavior.

Wonderful staff, very patient with my four-year-old, and you can tell they're passionate about what they do which makes the students even more excited to participate. I especially love the small class sizes. Definitely recommend for gymnastics!

The first coach my two year old had was AMAZING and we had a blast.

The summer coach was awful, touching him without permission and not for safety reasons, even though he SCREAMED at her. She pressured students and expected behaviors way above their age range.

I was hesitant about continuing in the fall and called to confirm when I'd know who the coach was and when I would be charged. I was told I had until the end of August.

I was charged $70 on August 15. I left two voicemails, spoke to two people who told me they would tell Paula, whoever that is, but she never called me back. I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company.

I was considering trying again when he was 3, but this whole experience has completely soured me on the gym.

My daughters gymnastics coach never showed up so her class was combined with a lower level. She spent every class jumping on a trampoline and wasn't taught anything. She in turn got frustrated and no longer wanted to go. I talked to the office about it a couple times and they assured me it would change. It didn't. It's a shame.

Very disappointing business to work with. They seem to lack concern as to whether your happy with there service or not. They have enough satisfied parents to really not concern themselves with those who do not have a good experience.

When we pulled our kids out after their recital/end of season; unbeknownst to us, they were auto enrolled the next season and we were charged for classses we didn’t know about. Refunds of course were denied. It was like trying to get out of a bad gym membership.

Good luck to anyone who needs issues resolved at Northcrest. Otherwise I’m sure they something right due to the large amount of families that do support them. I just hope the ownership group doesn’t take that for granted.

My kids have each had a birthday party here and have attended the Summer Camp during the day and loved every bit of their days at North Crest. Very friendly and helpful staff. The attention to detail presented to the children and their needs was superior to that of other local programs. They know how to make each individual child feel important through the day by building positive memories.

We attempted the Parent and Tot class and determined it was not a good fit within the first 5 minutes... After initially being told “no refunds under any circumstance, you can use the amount you paid toward a birthday party” I was offered a refund for the class, minus the annual fee, by one of the owners. I was satisfied with this outcome, but the process could have been smoother instead of me having to write a bad review in order to be offered a refund.

My kids and I both love this place. It's become our second home. Just amazed at how great the family like atmosphere extends to everyone that walks through the door. Amazing staff amazing programs. I wish I could rate this on two different levels. First off, I would like to say that my daughter's current coach, Mel, is absolutely the best. She is so nice and kind to the kids, yet has expectations, and the results show! My daughter is 3, and it's amazing what Mel has accomplished.

Sadly, it would seem that she works in one of the most disorganized businesses I have ever seen. If I just had to deal with Mel and class, that would be fine. First, the facilities seem to be very subpar. Instead of a floor, the entire place is covered with this thick carpet that sticks up in many places, creating trip hazards. Secondly, there is little seating area and it is frequently crowded and loud. I have to bring my own chair. Want to get some work done while your daughter is in a 60-90 minute class? Good luck. I think in my 2 years here, the internet has worked 2-3 weeks total. I personally find this completely unacceptable. I am writing this right now using my cell phone as a hot spot, burning up my data plan (that's how motivated I am to write this review). They have crammed a fitness room/gym space directly above the seating area, and when there are classes up there, the sound is so thunderous that it sounds like they are going to come through the ceiling.

I have sent two emails to their website. One was asking a question, and one was providing feedback on our incredible gymnastics teacher. I did not get a response either time.

Today, our normal awesome teacher wasn't there, so there was to be a "sub". Well, the sub didn't come, so the solution was to run 13 3-5 year olds together with one teacher, combining the higher level with a lower level. All the older kids spent the whole time trying to teach the younger kids how to do their various drills. I felt bad for them.

We were given sample sizes for leotards to order for a team performance. We sized our daughter, and when we got the leo it was WAY different, and way smaller. That was a complete waste of money.

I will say that the dance performance that we were apart of last year was run very well. That was very organized, and was done in a professional manner.

I guess, to summarize, it is a total crapshoot. I do believe that they have some very qualified teachers at North Crest. The good ones can cover up all the chaos that exists there. As long as we have our teacher, we will stay at North Crest. She is that good. If we lose her, we won't shed any tears going to a different gym that conducts itself in a much more professional manner.
