At North Shore Gymnastics Association, it is our purpose to acquaint children at all levels of physical ability, potential and growth with the sport of gymnastics in an atmosphere of safe, fun, positive learning and to help each child develop gymnastics skills, good sportsmanship and self-discipline.
Proudly serving the western suburbs for over 50 years, North Shore Gymnastics Association is conveniently located a few miles west of Long Lake, just off of highway 12 in Maple Plain, MN.

This place is incredible. Coach Megan achieves the perfect balance between helping the kiddos learn and grow all while loving what they do. It's truly inspiring to watch. As a mother, it makes my heart so full knowing that the five+ hours a week I'm away from my daughter is time she is spending with such a positive role model that is pushing her to be the best version of herself.

My wife and I are beyond impressed with North Shore, we have a daughter in level 3 gymnastics and she is thriving thanks to the wonderful environment she is in. The coaching is phenomenal, the facility is amazing, and we couldn't be happier to be a part of this tremendous organization. Go North Shore!

Our son attended a bday party here and had a great time. In order for him to attend, I needed to complete prerequisite forms and waivers, etc. - but the only way to do so is to create an account with North Shore. There’s no “complete forms as guest” or email option, so in order for a kid to attend the bday party they make you provide your email, phone number, personal information beyond what I’ve had to provide for other similar locales (e.g. trampoline park, which I would guess has a similar risk and liability profile). Having to create and account and being asked for my kid’s physician and health insurance info - all for a 90-minute birthday party - made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Aside from that, it seemed like the kids enjoyed themselves at the party.

This review is strictly for the birthday party service.
We've never been to North Shore before but took a chance on a birthday party for a first grade crew. North Shore made it so smooth and easy, their team is great with kids, and the kids had an absolute blast.
Highly recommend (and we're now interested in their classes because it was a great introduction to what gymnastics really is-our kiddo thought gymnastics was just floor routines and this showed him how fun and hard it can be!)

We were led to believe our son & daughter could do a homeschool class together. After registering our daughter, they didn’t accept our son into the class & refused to give us our money back for a month of classes we never once attended. Just crazy.

We love North Shore Gymnastics. All 3 of my girls started when they were toddlers. Now they are 11, 13, and 16 and are ALL 3 still involved in the program in one way or another today. They have done rec classes, team competitive program and my oldest now coaches! It's a great place to work too! This is our 2nd home.

We have been at North Shore for almost a year and a half now and we have nothing but great things to say! It did not take my daughter long to start calling North Shore her second home. Which really is amazing since she came from another gym and did not know anyone when she decided to start a new journey in this crazy sport that she has so much passion for!
The Coaches are amazing. They know the sport and they know how to keep the girls safe. They push the girls to their full potential. They encourage them and understand them. They have made an impact on my daughter and for that I am grateful.
The other gymnast are also what makes this gym stand out! They laugh with each other, they encourage each other and they cheer each other on. They welcome new teammates with open arms. If your child has ever switched gyms, it’s scary not knowing what they are walking into and worrying about fitting in and finding their place. This was not an issue for my daughter in any means!
The office staff are great and are always willing to help. They always have a welcoming smile on their face!

North Shore is our home away from home for our competitive team gymnast, and now our two preschool aged gymnasts! The coaches are encouraging, positive and make each practice fun at any level. They care about each gymnast's personal growth as well as their development in the sport. We would highly recommend NSGA!
