We love Northland School of Dance in Champlin, MN. My daughter has danced there for the last five years and with each year, our dance family grows. The opportunities they provide for tech and the value of the teaching staff is incredible. The staff is warm and friendly and really take the time to know each of the dancers.

We love it here! I have brought my 2 yo for 2 of the 6 week toddler dance seasons and she just adores it! Lots of fun and Ashley the instructor is so awesome!! My 2 yo talks about wanting to go back every day 🥰

Barb and the rest of the staff/ dance moms are blessings. My daughter’s always taken care of and my mind is put at ease with all the help and attention we receive when recital and pictures come around. We love this place

Barb, the owner of the school, is a very kind and warm lady. She shows real love and care for the children who attend this school and what she does. She and her daughter Ashley have created a good atmosphere here. My daughter is six and attended the Little Rascals recreational group this past year and loved it. Her teacher Shannon was very good with the kids. The costumes were cute and well made and the photographs came out very well. We won't be attending this year to give my daughter the opportunity to try other extracurricular activities, but if she chooses to return to dance, we would love to return to Northland.

After attending a Bring your Friend to dance night with her cousins, our daughter was ready to sign up immediately. This is our second year with this studio and each class, my little loves it more and more; doesn't even want to leave when class is done some nights. Excited to watch her grow in her talent, confidence, and self-discipline thru the years ahead at NSOD!

Northland Dace Studio is awesome. My daughter loves it, and the teachers are so patient with my little one. The owners are great too. They are passionate about their studio and it shows. The studio is in a great location, clean, and all the staff is so friendly. Highly recommend.

I personally don't have much to compare this dance studio too, but I haven't found anything that I dislike, and my wife who was in dance until her teen years likes it also, and she can be hard to impress. Most importantly our 5 year old daughter loves going to dance every week!

Both my daughters dance with Northland (oldest for 5 years and youngest for 2 years) and I cannot express enough how much they have grown. They have more confidence and discipline at minimum we are already so excited for Northland's summer dance program and what is to come for next year!

A special note to say the teachers this year are absolutely phenomenal! The girls wish they could sleep at dance they cannot get enough of it :)

The studio has completely changed and it feels like a big family. All the dancers know each other, the teachers and staff all work closely with the kids and guide then to be the dancer they want to be. I have been at this studio awhile, I have seen its up and downs. I am not lying when I say I couldn't be happier that we stayed. My daughter almost stopped dancing, she lost the joy. However this year Ashley and Barb made some wonderful changes with new teachers who are committed and caring to our children. We always say it takes a village to raise our children. My village is at Northland, and my daughter and I wouldn't want it any other way. Congrats Ashley and Barb on a successful year!!!

This dance studio is a home away from home! As a teacher here this place does not feel like work it’s a place to escape to and spread love and joy through dance! Very flexible understanding that students have family events or a big test at school sometimes. Always offering the best to its students, This studio is one big family!

I have an 11 year old daughter who has danced with Northland for 9 years. I've always been happy, but this year has been the best yet! The staff has always been top-notch, but the new instructors this season as incredible. They are personally invested in these kids. They know each child's strengths and weaknesses and how to teach them. The addition of having JP on staff and on site is a huge plus! I'm looking forward to the years to come. I'm loving what I am seeing and experiencing.

If you are looking for a place for you child to be their own person and not one of 25 kids in a class. Then you need to see what is happening at Northland.

Plain and simple, Northland loves their kids. They are DEDICATED to producing not just quality dancers, but quality people. Other organizations can probably compete with Northand's professionalism and acumen, but when it comes to heart, it's not even close. Northland is truly a pillar of the community. Any one-star reviews came from one-star people. Full stop.

There is not enough words in the universe to describe how wonderful Northland School of Dance is. My daughter has been dancing there for 5 years so far. Teachers, staff and owners are amazing to work with. My daughter has learned so much at this studio in and out of the dance classes. It has built up her confidence and helped her become the person she is today. A solo, duet, teacher assistance when she started would have never been in her vocabulary. She did a duet and was a teacher assistance last year and loved it. She is now talking about maybe doing a solo which I would have never thought possible. I could go on and on of the wonders of this place but if you are looking for an all-around great dance studio with the whole package Northland is the place.

I went to northland as an elementary student. Theresa is the best dance teacher and choreographer. When my own daughter and son where little, I put them in dance out here in las vegas. It was nothing like the discipline I received that made me a true dancer. Thanks to Theresa, my group won many trophies. We also always beat Larkin. My children love to dance, not because of their teachers here, but from what I learned and taught them from Theresa. Thank you so much!

I've been dancing at Northland for 7 years now and I could never ask for a better studio. The teachers are so nice and so helpful to make you so much better. I'm really glad I get to call northland my second family, northland is also a great place to make new friends because now that I've gone to northland know my best friend. HORRIBLE, BEWARE. They don't supervise students during dance class and other students get hit without dicipline, they don't supervise students after dismissal and I see them walking aimlessly into parking lot. They disobey parents orders by trying to have kids fit into shoes too small for convience. They throw parties for certain students and leave specific students out. Anywhere else would be better!!!

I cannot express enough gratitude and thankfulness for Northland School of Dance. The staff and atmosphere are superb and top quality. We have gone to other dance studios and nothing compares to Northland school of dance. The dance competition team and company helped our daughter go thru some personal issues with good exercise, wonderful and respectful team and an outstanding dance coach. This studio doesn't just teach dance it helps our young teens develop into responsible caring respectful adults. We Love Northland School of Dance!
