I haven't been to this place in a year(Since we went in and cancelled our membership). I called because I found out that I still have a membership that was supposed to have been canceled and somehow a second membership as well.. I called and spoke with a young lady who really just at the time made me feel like she was being helpful. She was supposed to be speaking with the manager and this just turned into a whole two week situation of back and forth trying to get things situated and the end result was her telling me that I couldn't even freeze my account because there is this huge balance on there that has to be paid. I'm like I would even go to the gym if I could get some of this taken off. Both accounts have an almost $300 balance... I'm told that I have to now pay for something that should have been canceled already and the second mysterious account as well.... Absolutely insane. Just for me to go online and play around with the site myself because I'm furious and find out that I'm able to freeze the account. The scam of it all is crazy.

For the owner that decided to respond I came up there and canceled in person. I was considering opening up a membership and that's when I found out that the account had never even been closed and that a second one was opened which is what prompted me to finally call and that's when I figured out that the account had never even been canceled like it was supposed to. I just figured out how to put a freeze on the account because the person that I spoke to told me that I couldn't even do that! and that I had to pay this $300 bill, not for one account but both of them before they could freeze it or cancel it. Again rip off!

I really love my gym! The staff have been really helpful the whole time I've been here. Feng is someone who's been here, I think, the whole time I've been here. He works really hard cleaning and just being there for the customers. The other staff are also really good. I appreciate having a place to come where I feel like they do what they say they do. I do feel like everyone is welcome. Thank you!

6/28 I showed up to workout at 6:05 AM. Planet Fitness was dark and closed, this is not the first time this has happened and it is a huge inconvenience.

6/26 The parking lot is extremely dark and unsafe. I was approached today outside of Planet Fitness at 3 AM by a male, I am a female. This is an extreme liability. Please add more lights to the parking lot, some of the lamps have light bulbs that are out. None of the lamps in front of Planet Fitness are lit. Yes the parking lot isn’t Planet Fitness’s responsibility but if planet fitness had more lights on the building the outside wouldn’t be so dark.

6/19Women’s bathroom dirty. I come to this location daily since March. The bathroom has been dirty since last week. Hair in the sink, on the floor, handles in the stall has the same dirty marks for days, and the toilet seat has dirt caked on the seat!

The headquarters of this gym in Minnesota has harmed me personally a lot. For many months I have been requesting the cancellation of my membership. They have cost me more than $107.40. I paid, sent a handwritten letter with my signature and they still haven't cancelled my membership. I am still being charged. It was a mistake to enroll in this gym.

Went to this gym for about a month as im new to the area. Read negatives reviews but gave it a chance as its the closest one to me. Multiple occasions as I'm walking inside people are screaming in the parking lot by the bus stop. Cleanliness is okay, paper towels aren't ever filled, little on the small side but it has everything you meed. People just got shot in that parking lot recently so i am not going back. The gym itself is okay, the outside can be sketchy.

I used to shower at this gym everyday when I was homeless. I kept hundreds of dollars worth of hygiene products in the locker locked with a lock. I came to take a shower and they had cut the lock and stole all of my skincare product’s including stuff from the dermatologist. Hundreds of dollars of skincare stuff gone. They only kept a lotion for me. They banned me from coming back because I cried. I was homeless and jobless. They lied and said that they warned me which they didn’t. They stole all my stuff overnight and kept a bottle of lotion for me. Please don’t ever go to this gym.they told me they would refund me my money after banning me and never did. Horrible place with horrible people. My heart hurts Everytime I think about what these people did to me. I wasn’t able to replace those products because I don’t have money. My heart hurts!!! horrible horrible people and place

Looks like a nice place except that my first experience was negative. A guy working there wearing the purple T shirt treated me more like a bouncer at a night club in a bad neighbourhood than a sales person of a gym.
i was on some bussiness in the mall where they are located so i decided to stop by and inquire about erolloment/ membership. i arrived at 7 :53pm (sat. sept 14) not knowing it was almost time for them to close at 8 pm. The guy in the purpure t shirt at the reception desrk didnt even want to spend one second to listen to why i came into the establishment, but instead, started offensively pointing me to the exit beckoning me to leave. As i mentioned earlier, his behavior was like that of a bounce at a night club in a very bad hood.

Very clean, very large gym. It's probably not suited for the 1% of bloatmaxxers out there but it's got everything ya need for all the standard workouts and a bunch of extra stuff too. Pretty much a machine alternative for all the manual weights also.

It's quite quiet here which I like. Very clean and very large with impressive amenities.

If you get their $25/mo plan you can bring unlimited single guest anytime you show up which is really great if you are starting out.

You would have a better experience spending a little more to be a part of a professional club. This place is ran by individuals who have no business or customer service skills, and if you have an account that they take your money from they will get greedy and take more than once agree to. Then, when you call the club, you will be greeted by a non-English-speaking rude person who tells you that the system is down after they’ve taken more than $50 out of your account and don’t want to explain it. Bad choice on my part. And to this day, as I stand in this crusty place for service again, taking money from my account and the membership has been cancelled long ago. That’s stealing!

District manager had a handwritten note at 7:12 pm saying be back in 15 minutes on lunch break. I waited over a half an hour and decided to call the store. He answered the phone and was extremely rude, he called me a liar and treated me horribly. He would not turn on the tanning bed for me! I literally swiped my phone at 7:12 and he didn’t come back in the door until 740 and told me that he just walked out the door which was a lie. He said he is a district manager of this location. I cannot believe how poorly I was treated !!! where is Customer Service at these days??? He demanded that I leave the gym and so I did! He argued with me the whole time!!! I didn’t even get to go tanning!!! that was the only reason why I came here! I can’t believe that I’m paying these people for a Membership that I can’t even utilize because the district manager refused to push a button on the wall!

I’m just visiting this location from out of town, and although the main gym is decently clean, the men’s locker room/bathroom is very nasty and the floors are full of standing water and moldy, showers need some deep cleaning. The gym is okay. I got sick of people disrupting my circuit with their cell phones and equipment curiosity - so I decided to go elsewhere. My primary issue is with their cancellation policy which REQUIRES that you write a letter or cancel in person. In 2024! In 2024, we are able to complete major financial transactions online, but I cannot cancel my gym membership. I purchased a house in 2022 and signed everything online - but I have to go into the gym to do this. They will not even accept an email cancellation . . . in 2024!

I believe It's not about being convenient to the customer. As a whole, this policy discourages the ability of your customers from stopping payments. It also discourages customers from certain groups.

I recently relocated back to the area after 16 years. The staff eat initially great until they completely charged staff. Devin was rude as hell, he spoke to me like he was taking his bad day out on me, the manager Shannon hung up on me when I was telling her what happened with Devin, the district manager Josh never followed through with my complaint, they triple charged me on my billing and when I explained to the manager Sharron and told her that I have receipt from payment, she ignored me and kept trying to tell me to come in. I was told by another location that they would give me a refund through another department bit that is another lie. This is not a good company at all. They are mean and cruel. Also money takers. From my understanding of Planet Fitness, each club has different policies when it comes to cancellation. This location really wants to make it inconvenient for you to cancel your membership. I should be able to go online or make a phone call to cancel. Not with this location per the person on the phone call. I have to either drive out to the location or send a letter. Between COVID and Monkey-pox right now, y’all should be a little more understanding. Not to mention when I have been at this location it wasn’t always kept-up on.
