Alright, let's talk Planet Fitness. If you're looking for a gym that won't make your wallet cry, this is your spot. They've got most of the major equipment, or at least a distant cousin of it, so you can still get your pump on.

Now, about that water fountain... it's seen better days. Like, much better days. A daily scrub wouldn't just be nice, it'd be a public service. And while the staff is super friendly (they almost always hit you with a "hello" and "goodbye," which is a nice touch), a little more wiping down of machines wouldn't hurt. I'm not sure what their job description entails, but there's definitely some prime "standing around" real estate happening.

But here's the kicker: Tootsie Rolls. Yes, actual Tootsie Rolls. It's the perfect, slightly ironic reward for all that hard work. Plus, the location is solid. All in all, I dig this gym. Just bring your own water bottle.

The location doesn’t have up to date equipment the staff doesn’t do anything there the place ain’t that clean or anything to Bragg about it’s worth 10 a month with no annual fee I swear I don’t like how outdated this location is it’s really not worth the annual fee at all !!!! Seriously it’s not worth the money here!!!!! And you said a message to reach out and I’m wondering what is that going to fix !!! Pretty good location.
Honestly my only complaint is that it definitely needs more smith machines/racks.
Only having 3 means you'll almost always be waiting for one (even when it's slow).

After going here for a few weeks, I have to say this is the most responsive PFs I've been to. I've had a few issues and they were incredibly helpful and super nice about everything. I still wish they had more smith machines, but I don't mind waiting from time to time at a really great gym

The facility is fine but the customer service, with one or two exceptions, is atrocious. At any given time there will be either no one up front, or three people standing there. When I come in to use the black card member perks such has hydro bed or tanning bed or whatever, and I need to wait for one to be cleaned but there are 2 or 3 people standing behind the desk, what gives? The hours have been cut due to staffing shortages; no longer 24/7 on weekends.

This particular location isn't updating with the locker rooms being outdated. I wish there were more lower weight dumbbells since there is usually never enough. The ellipticals are on wheels instead of more modern setups. The only good thing about this location is the size.

UPDATE: I've communicated this through your "social team" and nothing ever gets done. Why do I have to be the one to point out the issues with this location? Why can't your employees or you take action?

I love this club! The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Sean, the morning front desk guy. He is so kind. Yesterday, I accidentally dropped my gold earring hook in the trash while wiping my face. Sean went above and beyond by helping me go through the garbage. Even when I was ready to give up, he persisted until we found it. Outstanding service!

The gym itself is fine. But they are the worst at canceling your monthly plan. I've tried canceling many times, including going in and working with the manager at the location and I'm still getting charged monthly. They are totally banking on you not using the facility and forgetting the $10/ month charge. They don't work with you over the phone or online unless you're signing up. They make canceling difficult.

The staff here doesn’t take pride in the place. Showers don’t drain properly, not to mention mold in the silicon corners. Locker rooms are always dirty and towel dispensers are either low or don’t work. I live close to this gym and go out my way not to go there. It’s sad because this use to be a decent gym 5 years ago.

Most of the machines have been replaced. But when they break it can be months before they're fixed. There was a stair machine out of service for 3 or 4 months.

Don't even think about showering after a workout. Even though customers pay for the whole experience, this gym purposely shut off the hot water after maybe 2 minutes . It's not as well maintained as it used to be nor as sanitary. Whoever runs this place should be ashamed of themselves. When I asked one of the staff at the front desk he was apathetic stating that the showers are timed for 20 ( more like 3) minutes. It's disgusting to know that people still frequent that nasty gym and aren't even respected while doing so. Also before you join just know that to cancel it is about $52. It's supposed to be no commitment remember? This whole situation is so disgusting man!

Machines don't work, the staff refuse to check the machines work. Then they follow you around the facility when you inform them of faulty equipment. Basically rude and I don't feel safe.

Edit to reply to the staff comment below. I told the staff the equipment wasn't working, they told me I didn't know how to use it. That piece of equipment hasn't worked the last 6 times I have been to that location. The staff also claimed right after I left that booth for equipment someone else used the equipment and it worked just fine. I watched the black card member room in the duration since I exited, no one went in or out, staff or member. They also told me before I went into the booth no one has yet to use it that day.

I pay for black card to use specific equipment and by 1pm I am the only person to use that equipment that tells me other members are aware the equipment hasn't been working for a while.

Just a little frustrated that so many exercise machines are Out of Order. There are a few machines (does not include the ones pictured) that have been Out of Order forever and never repaired and then no Out of Order sign. Considering Planet Fitness is for newbies or a non-judgment gym ... those who might not always be the most familiar with how to use exercise machines, the machines not being in working order is dangerous for those who may not know a machine is out of order but the signs have been removed and never repaired. I am disappointed that it seems this location does not seem to keep up with the busy membership here.
