Sort of a disservice to have no kettlebells available to use. Checked over and over to make sure I wasn't going crazy. Been maybe 8 different locations and the management thought their genuis idea is to minimize equipment compared to other gyms

Gym is Ok. Unsure why they don’t play music, please for the love turn on the music. Seems as tho they can’t keep staff very long at the front desk and the gym is often filled with teens and twenty something’s who aren’t working out just sitting on their phone and taking up machines for extended periods of time. Would be nice to get rid of the 30 minute area since no one uses it and place more machines or a second rack of dumbells in the an area.

Julie was very rude and on a power trip. I've been coming here and to many locations in multiple states for 2 years and this was my first time seeing her here. I was pulled away from the middle of my workout for her to try to kick me out and gave me some BS excuse I've never heard before and it still doesn't make sense. The funniest part is that she tried to blame it on her employees that I am not allowed to work out here now, you're the manager, take accountability! I was listening to her telling her employees to go kick other people out too! You'd think if you had a nice gym like this you'd want people to be working out in it. I've watched it decline in cleanliness and care since the kind gentleman who used to manage hasn't been here.

They always have news and sports channels on the tv's. Very annoying to workout to. I asked the staff if they could change the channels and they said the channels are already preprogrammed so there was nothing that they could do. Otherwise, i have no other complaints.

What an amazing 2 staff members. I came in last night because my boxing Gym was closed, at around 6:30 I took a tour the facility and the two gentleman were super kind and thoughtful and now Ill be getting a full membership because of them. Was worried about the rumor mill of planet fitness being a horrible community but those two and the people there make it an awesome place here in Stillwater. Thanks guys.

I work 2nd shift and all the night crew have been friendly and good at their jobs. Tonight they were top tier! My car wouldn't start in -14 weather, and these gents were so lovely and offering help and concern. While I waited for aaa, I was able to borrow a charger, cause when it rains it pours. They made a bad experience better and I'm great full to them!

I cancelled my acct in person as they requested and they told me it would go out another 4 days. I then get billed another month. I called and was then given another story. I stopped in person to talk to a manager only to leave my info no call back days later. Still waiting. They need to have better communication and even give a print out so they don’t say one thing then do another.

Fergus is the first person to say hi to me when I walk in and first to say bye when I leave. Jaymin knows every machine and is always ready to show me how to use a new one. Annika is awesome and always on point with everything. Lily makes everyone feel welcome, even the annoying teenagers in their pajamas. I’ve been critical of this location, and others, in the past but Stillwater Planet Fitness has really turned things around. They finally have a wonderful staff, only some of which I know by name, unfortunately. Alisha, Katie and Jaymin are all top notch and really care about their jobs and care about providing a clean friendly environment for the members. Really enjoy coming to this PF location!

Equipment is up to date (they have the newer machines with the electronic rep counter/timers) and everything is in really good condition. I've been coming here for over a month and nothing has been broken or out of order. They have 4 smith machines, a leg press, multiple cable systems, and typical DB selection. Also a large variety of muscle specific machines so even during busy times you can get in resitance training. And of coarse they have tons of treadmills, ellipticals, etc. so cardio is never an issue. They have a huge selection of tanning beds compared to other locations too! I dont do the hydro beds but i think its the typical variety of beds for that.

Staff are all very welcoming and attentive to guests coming and leaving; big difference compared to other locations. Liz (I think she is the manager) is awesome and gave me some good advice to avoid the crowds (I prefer to work out when its not so busy).

Gym crowd is typical, but everyone seems to stay out of eachother's way and be respectful which is nice. I've always enjoyed all PF locations for that reason. They do a good job at providing a low key atmosphere for people that just wanna get a workout in.

Overall really impressed; I wouldn't write a review if this location didn't deserve it. Glad to have a good gym on this side of town!

The customer service over the phone from staff has been astonishingly unprofessional. Particularly with Liz at the Stillwater location. I've never had such consistent and poor customer service or lack of empathy from any establishment right from the start. No follow up from management when I've asked. I'm really disappointed because the facility is nice and I wanted it to be a good fit for me.

My membership was canceled by the manager, Elizabeth Scott, because I complained about the unsanitary conditions in the men’s showers. The liberal, woke Manager can’t take constructive criticism or handle complaints! Chunks of bar soap, pubic hair, used band-aids and other debris on the shower floor for 2-weeks in a row is completely unacceptable, as is the mold and mildew on their purple shower curtains.. If they spent 25% of the time they do at the front counter on their cell phones cleaning the place, it wouldn’t be an issue. The state of Minnesota Department of Health has been notified. Save your time in money and join elsewhere.

Just put my membership on hold for a few months to search for another gym that opens earlier and that isn't Snap. Unfortunately where I live I don't have many options. Thought I could get on the bandwagon and go after work in the afternoon but just can't make it work. Would be nice if this location and Hudson would be open 24 hours like the rest of them. Also, a response from the gym on some of these reviews would be nice. Otherwise the gym has always been clean and the staff friendly.

The regular staff is very friendly and equally helpful. However I was harassed by someone that claimed to be one of the club managers. He came up to me and told me I was hogging the weights. I politely informed him that if anyone needed help loading up weights, I’d be more than happy to if asked (the gym wasn’t even busy at the time). Then he changed his story and claimed he doesn’t see people lifting that much without a spotter, and he need me to be aware of the risk.

I totally understand the concern, I just feel it was an unprofessional way to approach me or any customer. I do the same workout routine every time. I’m always friendly and polite, and I always rack my weights when done. There’s plenty of people here that don’t do the same, and I never complain.

The hours are horrible here too, I might give them a couple more stars if they could go 24 hours. Or at least stay open until midnight

It’s a great gym, cheap, clean and the staff is friendly. However, if you are an early bird - I would not recommend. There has been several occasions where they open late due to staff not showing up. So if you have a short window to work out in the morning, I would look elsewhere. If not, this gym is great.

CLOSED. I was stoked when I found PF was coming to stillwater but was sorely disappointed when I came by and they closed up shop at 9pm. Not sure what it is with this town everything closes early. Won't be giving them my business. Pretty big investment to be closed that early and even earlier (8pm) on a Saturday night believe it or not. Those of us on 2nd or 3rd shift are pretty much out of luck.

When I signed up for this gym I assumed it was 24 hours based off other locations and their website pre-sale info. I have a busy life and the last gym I went to had similar hours and it was hard to make it. Hope this changes or I may not keep membership. Other than the hours this gym is fantastic, clean with lots of equipment and perks.
