Iβve been to this center a few times while taking my nieces and nephews to their volleyball training. Itβs practical: they offer programs for girls, boys, and even little ones in VolleyTots. The staff is usually friendly, but the building feels a bit cold and basic inside, and the waiting area for parents is small. It does the job for sports practice, and the vibe is all about the game.

I have a question, what days and at what times do you have a gym open to the general public? My brother and I are looking for a place to play.

Last year we had a great experience. Good coached and staff. This year the staff is never around and 1/2 the coaches don't know what they are doing. My 5 year Old's group routinely starts 7 or more minutes late and last week they took 5 water breaks. For a one hour class that we paid for... not good. We aren't coming back when this session is done.
Edit: This is business has changed. When I wrote this review the business was for the soccer training which they no longer do. We have not used the Volleyball facilities. I tried to delete the review as it is no longer relevant but google won't let me. So I'm changing from 1 star to 4 star so my review hopefully has less impact on the current business. Would delete if I could. Updating because I got a notice from google that my review just past 1000 views and again I don't think it is fair to rate the current business on services they no longer provide.

This is no longer Ralia Sports Center and is now called MN Select....Top-notch volleyball training facility. My daughter just started this summer (2022) and we are very impressed with the facility and coaching. It's not cheap, so if you're child is just trying to figure out if they like volleyball, best to pick a municipal location just to make sure. Otherwise, worth every penny for the serious volleyball-ers!

This facility is small and kind of run down. No public restrooms inside (OMG porta porty's outside!!!). VolleyBall Courts are nice.
Parking lot is way, way, to small to host club level sports.

I really love this place. Best place to play open court volleyball. Although itβs best to bring with you 6 players to make a team since everybody else plays in teams. Other than that, recommend this place

Excellent facility with clean floors and a friendly director! Definitely recommend bringing your own team to play with though, I went there alone my first time and spent a majority of my time sitting and watching games. Wish they had some type of sign up for solo players looking for teams.

Poor seating, to close to net. Been hit by ball when it hits net. No walking path, front row, to seat when people are seated. No nets between courts, part of game are stopped or are chasing balls. Extremely poor parking when there are multiply games.

There for a volleyball tournament weekend. Good courts, yummy smoothies at the concessions, can get doordash delivered. The remodel made the bathrooms bigger and they paved the back parking. It does get hot though out on the court for the girls.

went to volleyball tournament over the weekend and the parking especially the handicap parking is non existent.. They have only two handicap spots available and 8 spots right in front one for the director and 7 for admin and event folks.. Sadly over the weekend all 8 of those spots were left empty leaving anyone that is handicapped without parking :-(

I have a lot of kids that play a lot of sports and this place is by far the worst one we are forced to go to.
Cramped seating areas. Bathrooms are in Biffys outside. No warm concession food. And also a parking lot that can handle 20 vehicles. You are forced to park on the street and walk a quarter mile to get in here with no sidewalk. Not a big deal when the weather is nice, but that's not always the case in Minnesota.

I go on Friday nights for volleyball, it starts from 7pm to 1am, it does get very pack. There are total of 8 courts. 3 courts for 4 vs 4, one king of the court and the rest co ed. It gets very pack, you play 2 games and out. Once you have a team, a person will come around and give u a tag to put up by the court that you want to play. For the past few fridays, for each court has been at less 4 games wait... I find it it's too long of a wait

Good place to go play some volleyball on Fridays night from 8pm to 1am and on Tuesdays but on fridays it does get very pack. Age is all range mostly high schoolers and adults. They have 8 courts total, about 3 courts of 4v4, 4 courts of coed and 1 court for king of court. Great way to be active on a Friday night.

Gross bathrooms, horrible parking, lack there of, and terrible seating. Not to mention all day tournaments being stuck there trying not to lose your parking spot that's within a mile you are stuck eating the equivalent of a vending machine but from their concessions. It Has tons of potential though. I just hope the upgrade a lot.

Went to open gym on Friday night. The facility is large with 8 volleyball courts. Parking runs out in the parking lot. Open gym is very disorganized and if you dont win, good luck playing. Only 2 or 3 staff working. Let in way to many people and there was a lot of teams waiting to play. 5 dollars a person. Starts at 8pm, but get there early or you won't get parking.

This is the volleyball mecca of the twin cities. It contains eight volleyball courts which could be converted to indoor soccer fields. It is prefect place to play in tournaments or open gym on Friday night's. It also has a full size gym and a cafe underway.
The downside is that it only has two smaller restrooms and the parking lot is small. Fortunately, there is plenty of free street parking.

The gym was really nice, but the lady who works there was really rude. We told her it was our first time there and we didn't know we had to be 18 to play and she started saying all this stuff to us. She even said we played like girls. Which was rude. She told us we had to have 2 girls on our team otherwise we would get kicked out. We didn't see a lot of girls that we could ask to play with us, also other teams didn't have any girls. We came to have fun and enjoy our time but we didn't. We only spent 10-15 minutes there before we left.

The lack of decent parking, coupled with essentially no concessions on site, makes this a horrible place for a volleyball tournament. I'm at one now, and the nearest parking spot is approximately a half mile away.

Not enough parking (walk for miles) not enough seating and metal benches are super small if you do find a spot. Loud and crowded in the best of circumstances. They just crammed too many courts into this building without regard for the number of people that would mean.
