Recreational program- some coaches are hit or miss. They pack the classes and there is not a lot of individual focus on forms or improving versus repetition of stations. Some coaches are phenomenal and the kids love for them is very clear. There’s simply too many kids at once in the programs.

The parent viewing area is in need of revamp. There is not enough room for all the parents to watch how many kids they pack into the classes, and it’s a single row of chairs upstairs in front of the windows that families camp out in and sit on their phones (personal choice, but I’m there to watch my kid and would love to sit up close). Parking can also be difficult as a result of how packed this place gets.

We have been at Rising Stars for 14 years! Through that time we have had my three daughters go through every part of the programming from preschool to rec to competing in both the Xcel programs and now my youngest in the DP program. Through the years Rising Stars has become family to us and we love the progressive nature of the programming. Even if I didn’t see it at the time, looking back I can see how every little drill and skill had led up to the larger skills. We have never had a bad coach and the owners and coaches are always there to talk to about concerns or struggles my girls have had. Before coming here originally we had tried another local gym and found it to be disorganized and not a good fit. If you are looking for a great program where your kids can grow and learn gymnastics I highly recommend Rising Stars!

My daughter has been so very happy with our years at RSGA. The coaches are amazing at working with the girls as well as fostering their whole self. Mental health and physical health are equally important which is important to me.

My daughter has been going to Rising Stars for almost 8 years! She started when she was in preschool and has progressed through a number of team levels.
My daughter takes gymnastics very seriously and with the help of the RSGA she has learned so many skills.
The friendships she has gained with her teammates are like no other friendships she has had.
My daughter absolutely loves the coaches she has had through the years. They have always been supportive and met her where she is as an individual.
I would definitely recommend Rising Stars!

My daughter has been going to Rising Stars since she was 2yo. She is now in competition, and still loves it! The coaches are wonderful and I love that there’s a viewing room upstairs for parents to watch every area. The big availability of days and times is a plus too! We love RSGA!

Only missed two months of the full season gymnastics for my 4 year old from 23-24. The coach did more cleaning than hands on coaching. Never shared things we can work on with her, but would yell at 3-5 year Olds how they are supposed to stay in their station and remember what comes next.

Look elsewhere for this age group 😊

Nice place, large gymnasium type room with upper observation deck, cash vending machine for soda & snacks… 1 upstairs and 2 downstairs single bathrooms. There is also a small type room with the same type of gymnastic equipment for smaller kids. Staff was helpful and pleasant.

My son and daughter love Rising Stars! The coaches are upbeat, encouraging and make learning new skills so much fun! My daughter started as a toddler and it’s been amazing to see the skills she has developed as well as the body confidence and positive can-do attitude that has come from her experience in gymnastics.

Rising Stars is such an amazing gym filled with great people, equipment and support for all of their gymnasts. I was a gymnast there for 13 years and I definitely would not be the person I am today without have growing up there. The teams and the coaches become family. The owners, Pavel and Elena, are so wonderful and work well with parents, staff and gymnasts. And I 10/10 recommend sending your children to Rising Stars.

My daughter is on the level 1 training team and the progress she has made in just 4 months has been so fun to watch. My daughter is always so excited to get to the gym and absolutely loves her coaches. I would recommend Rising Stars to any family looking for a gym to join. The desk staff is wonderful, the facility is clean and spacious and the coaches are top notch. Thank you for all you do Rising Stars! Sincerely Grace's Mom.

Our daughter has been with Rising Stars since around 20 months of age. I can tell you, from the perspective as a Division 1 coach in the NCAA, albeit in softball, that RSGA has done a great job with development and attention to detail in training. In addition, their communication has been superior to many of the youth training organizations that I have worked with in regards to any of my four children. I highly recommend Rising Stars for any and all youth gymnasts in the Twin Cities area.

My daughter has been in Rising Stars Gymnastics since July of last year and has absolutely loved every single day of her practice there. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, professional and attentive coaches, clean and neat gym - these are only few of many positive aspects of Rising Stars.
Thank you, dear RSGT for investing into my daughter’s gymnastics skills and helping her to thrive in her favorite sports!

Mine and my daughters experience at Rising Stars Gymnastics has been phenomenal. The coaches are well rounded and they balance each other out nicely. They provide structure but let the kids also be kids. I have seen such improvement in my daughters skills, abilities and confidence since joining a Training Team. The gym is affordable with their tuition and are always flexible to work with family's to ensure it is a great experience for all. I would highly recommend RSGA to any family looking at getting their kid into gymnastics. My only wish is that they would offer Adult gymnastics.

We love Rising Stars! Clarissa is amazing with all kids- young, old, energetic, timid. She is the first non-family person to gain the trust of my shy 2 year old. She somehow got her to play with exuberance and independence in a public space, which was incredible to see and convinced us to enroll in the toddler class. My daughter has gained motor skills and confidence. Clarissa is also able to channel kids' energy and get them to listen while making it fun. The front desk staff, teachers, and owners make it a friendly and welcoming environment. Several of my coworkers have older girls at this studio and have been extremely happy with the quality of instruction they have received. Try out open gym- it's an awesome space!

My boys have been to rising stars. They have had Ms. Clarissa, Ms. Miranda, and Ms. Mary who all do a great job helping the kids make progress each week as well as dedicating time to each child during class. They have Friday open gym in the morning for younger children and evening for older kids which I enjoy going to to get the boys energy out. I recommend RSGA to everyone!

We headed there for a free trial to see if it would fit my 2 and a half yr old. Perhaps you should consider doing trials or orientation to this place separately. There was no welcome or introduction to the space. It was stepping into a class already in progress. It was not a good way to introduce or try this experience. We left 2 mins into the class.

McKenna has grown immensely since joining RS.Her passion for gymnastics is back.We learned quickly that she was behind in many skills compared to the other team members because she didn’t have the training at her other school like they give at RS.Mckenna’s teacher Cassandra is amazing, understanding, and supportive. We love this school that offers a clean gym, coaches with excellent training skills, and the opportunity to excell.I encourage anyone looking at gymnastics gyms to come here. You won’t be disappointed.

Wow! Just read Emma Azamat's description of Miss K and she could not be more wrong. Sorry your kid misbehaved and had to be put in time out. Maybe if you'd put your kid into time out at home once in a while and didn't pander to her every need she wouldn't expect that from everyone else. (BTW: a 3 year old is not a baby...)

Rising Stars is not a day care. Its a gym and if your kid can't handle basic human interaction maybe there are bigger problems you should be concerning yourself with.

Yes, some of the coaches are hard (not Miss K by the way, super sweet person) but its because they want the best out of them and are helping them grow not just as gymnasts but as good people too.

My daughters could not be happier with Rising Stars and their coaches. They can't wait to go every week to a caring and respectful environment. We see progress every week! Couldn't be happier.

"There will be no boys allowed at open gym over the age of 12." Wow! Rather than discriminate based solely on gender, why not accommodate and welcome said gender by hiring appropriately? If you are not equipped to handle an entire demographic who would naturally seek to use your facility, perhaps some change is in order?
