I just signed up about a month ago and going frequently. Clean and overall I am happy with the equipment and free weights. Doesn’t seem to busy. I think this snap just recently changed ownership which I would guess all the negative comments posted previously are from previous owners letting place go. My guess is new ownership cleaned that up quickly.

If I could give this place a Zero star I would. This place is beyond a joke. I paid for a membership a little over 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t been able to step foot into the gym. I’ve called the gym number, I’ve called corporate, I’ve called customer service, I’ve went to the gym during “staff hours” and nobodies working, I’ve left multiple voice mails, I’ve done the contact us on the website and still nothing back. I payed over $100 to just get the membership and I’ll be getting charged here soon again for the next month even though I haven’t gotten any service from them. They deserve to be shut down for how terrible they are. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK SO I CAN GO TO ANYTIME FITNESS!!

This establishment is an embarrassment! I have called 3 times, left voice mails, and even showed up to the location during staffed hours. Every time I have been disapointed. It has been 3 months since ive been trying to get a membership here. Perfect example of bad business, would not reccomend!!!

The experience was far from good. We had called multiple numbers 3+ times all during the staff hours. And not once did they answer. Then I showed up to the place and not a single staff member was there. Horrible Experience, I would not recommend. It is not worth needing to deal with the horrible staff.

Went to sign up at this gym, walked in and no one was there. Finally saw a sign that says the staffed times. Came back between the hours on the sign and now the door is locked with no one manning the desk for entry. There are people working out inside so the place is open. Obviously Horrible customer service.

TL;DR Nice looking facility, lacks proper fitness equipment (if you consider a squat rack to be of importance, for example)

I want to give this place a better score. I really really do.

2 Stars. 1 for curb appeal, and 1 for the cool fitness amenities e.g. tire flip, jacob’s ladder, rope climb, and what appears to be part of a ninja warrior course (monkey bars up to ceiling).

I withheld three stars for not being a serious gym; if you are a dedicated lifter do not come here.

They do not have a rack. A squat rack. There is no place to (reasonably and safely) perform a heavy squat or bench press, aside from one single smith machine. I personally do not use smith machines, and am not a fan of them. To each their own.

If you are a fan of cable exercises such as cable chest flyes, it is likely you will be disappointed as this gym lacks a pair of matching plastic “D handles”.

I rarely see gyms (other than a hotel fitness room) that lack any sort of barbell rack, let alone a gym that has a cable machine without sufficient attachments.

The Wyoming MN snap fitness is much more humble looking, but seeing as it is closer to me I have no reason to drive out to Forest Lake and not have access to a squat rack. The Wyoming location has one, which is better than none. They also have a decent selection of cable attachments.

Just my two cents.

It seems like the owner(s) have given up on this place. They had an employee that kept it clean but for the last 3 months it's been really gross. For the past 2 weeks it seems like nobody has cleaned anything. The bathrooms smell of urine, the floors are gross, the ceiling leaks, and all the equipment is greasy with "people juice". Part of thier motto is "clean and comfortable" nothing could be further from the truth.

Been working out here since they moved to the new location. The gym in nice and spaced out much better than other Snaps. However, this is a busy gym, especially after work. Two out of the 7 treadmills they have, have been broken for over month. So it's frustrating they don't fix things in a reasonable time. I've had to wait multiple times for a treadmill since there is only 5 that work. The MyZone TV monitor has also been broken for over a month. Also, bring your own sanitary wipes, as they're usually out. If a little more care was taken in this gym, it would be great.

I have been trying to sign up at the Forest Lake Snap fitness for a week. I cannot get ahold of anyone who works there even though I am calling during "staffed hours" and when I scheduled an appointment with the call center NO ONE SHOWED UP. Going elsewhere.

I love working out here every day after work but then due to health issues I was no longer able to work and I had to drop my membership. But alas... NO! said they.... you must keep paying... we have a CONTRACT...

Um... Go to the YMCA instead.... they have MORE machines, MORE free weights, AND a fantastic pool, sauna, AND hot-tub...

HORRIBLE!!!! I usually don't write google reviews but this deserves a horrible one. I signed up for the 7 day trial and I stopped in one night to see about the place and use my free pass and the lady who was there asked if she could help me and I said I have a free 7 day pass and all she said to me was okkkk... go ahead and workout then. I could not believe she didn't even take time to show me around or explain anything.
I asked her if she could show me around and she looked at me like I was crazy! I have never been to a gym that hasn't showed you around and talked about their fees and the gym. The gym was small and everything looked dirty, It was horrible! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
