Usually very clean, and has most equipment you could want (limited on anything that is more than basic free weights or rack weights so if youre into powerlifting this probably isn't for you) but most machines are a bit loose and everything could use some attention for routine maintenance if it has screws or bolts.

I thank you for this, I forgot about the fact that I need to register for the weight training program, I am out of shape, used to weight train, maxed on the deadlift, 423 lbs, but that was years ago.

Friendly staff and nice gym. Although friendly I can never reach anyone unless it’s very early in the morning. Latest someone is there is probably 10 am which is the latest I’ve been able to reach anyone. Just be honest about your service hours. It’s frustrating going in during “staff hours” and no one is ever there.

I’ve been coming to this Snap location for over four years because it’s just a few blocks from my house. The treadmills are very difficult to set the speeds. You have to click up the speed one notch, individually, over and over to get it to a faster speed vs. simply setting it on your desired speed. Drinking fountains are broken, only one works and hardly puts out any water. The gym is almost always dirty—hardly gets cleaned even over COVID. The chest fly has been out of wack for years. It is very convenient, tho. Three squat racks and a bench press. Wish the gym was better maintained.

Got inspired by a parenting podcast - Minivans Before Beer Cans - to fight the dad bod and work on getting in shape. This place is solid, has everything you need for basic working out and pumping it up. Obviously not huge, no pool or high end facility features but it is priced right for what it is and the best gym is the one you actually go to.

Great selection of equipment. A lot of squats racks. Bigger than most snaps, and my favorite snap in the area. However, the treadmills SUCK! Very difficult to impossible to adjust speed with broken/cumbersome speed controls. Treadmills are in desperate need of replacement/repair. Don't come here for cardio!

Lives up to the Snap promise -- fast, convenient, and affordable! The space is clean, newly renovated, and has a great variety of free weights, machines, and cardio equipment. My favorite part about this gym is the community feel. There are a ton of regulars from diverse backgrounds that have been going to this gym for years and it is to no surprise -- of all the places I've been to in the Twin Cities, the owner and staff at this location go out of their way to make clients feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend!

TERRIBLE experience working with the staff and owner. They refused to reimburse me $100 that I am owed, and have refused to contact me back from over 4 months of phone calls and emails. They have been rude to me on the phone, and have conducted themselves in a completely unprofessional manner. I would never recommend this location, as all others have been wonderful.

Add the convenience of optionally working out at other Snap fitness locations, which are plentiful and well located, and the choice is easy. I enjoy the layout of the NE Minneapolis facility as it is absolutely huge. Also have had great experiences with other gym members. One thing I do not like is how I have recommended several times to staff that certain items need to be re-upholstered due to the padding completely being destroyed on some machines, and yet it fell on deaf ears. I do not like to feel my ulnar nerve grind on the rest of the Preacher Bicep Curl Bench due to the padding being blown out. Other than that it is a good gym.

This particular Snap location is fantastic - not one, but two actual racks to do barbell related things in, pretty uncommon for your small commercial gym. Plenty of benches and free weights, and the staff/management has always been friendly and helpful and open to suggestions! They bought micro weights and stocked the vending machine with Bang at my request. Love it here!

My access card stopped working out of the blue. I try calling several times during "staffed hours," but no one answers. When I finally found time to walk in there, there was a sign that said "Be Back Shortly." I waited 25 minutes. No one showed up. Does this place have a staff? This is bogus.

Much bigger than their previous location and they finally got a squat rack in there (I swear I am the only one who uses it). I believe it is the biggest Snap Fitness in town as it is on 2 levels. Also, as it is the only gym in Northeast, it gets extremely busy during peak hours, so much so that I often times find myself going over to the one in Falcon Heights instead (when you join Snap Fitness, you can go to any of their locations.)

Other than that, considering there are no other options in the area, it's a pretty decent gym.

I signed up for Snap Fitness in December. I have worked a lot with Britta, who has been perfect to deal with. Everytime I have had a question to ask her over email, she has answered it in about 5 minutes, which is incredible. I even called on a Saturday and she was there.

The ym is pretty nice, its kind of crowded. But at the rates I am paying for two people to have gym membership and access to tanning, its incredible.
