This particular snap fitness more resembles a gold's gym. It doesn't have the small 24 HR club feel that embodied the chain when it started. Really wish there was a planet fitness. I can see why their judgement free zone is so appealing. I just want a no frills club that has what you need. Also the one machine out of 100 I wanted didn't work right. My hometown club is not the most up to date but everything works.

This is a really nice gym. If you want to cancel though, they require it to be in person and two months in advance. This was a huge inconvenience to me, and when I finally managed to get back down there (I was canceling because I moved, didnt cancel immediately because I wanted to try reciprocity but other snaps are not as nice and not worth the extra cost) I missed the previous payment by a couple days. So I ended up paying for about 6 months whilenI never used the gym once. Then for my final payment, my card got lost and thus canceled and my 7th unused months payment didnt go through, so they sent it to collections promptly. I get it's a business, but they take it further and are very money hungry. Very nice gym and counter staff though.

Snap fitness is priced as a luxury fitness center without any of the amenities. Unusually restrictive policies make for an uncomfortable user experience. It is cheaper to drive to another gym in Lacrosse and with a new YMCA being built there will be better options locally very soon
