I really love Solidcore — it’s truly one of the best high-intensity, low-impact workouts I’ve ever done! I’ve never felt so sore in my life, and I actually love the shakes that come with it.
That said, there are a few things I don’t love. The music is often so loud that I can’t clearly hear the instructor’s cues. It actually gives me a bit of anxiety because of how intense the noise can be, and my phone even sends me volume warnings during class.
If they could turn the music down just a little, it would make an already amazing workout even better!

while i was waiting to check in with the instructor and assumably front desk or assisting staff, there was a girl waiting to see if she could join in on class. the class was full and the assisting/front desk staff was explaining that she would have to wait 5 mins after the start time to join in case someone who was on the roster showed up.
as the assisting staff was explaining, tara joined in on the convo and checked the roster to see who was attending this afternoon and if there were any late cancellations. as tara was checking, she started to explain a previous situation where a couple of girls who had signed up, no-showed or were late.
tara then says "well to be honest they were somali so i assumed they'd be late or wouldn't show up at all", while she still has her mic on.
this is the most unprofessional and disgusting thing i have ever heard an instructor say. i have been teaching and taking yoga and pilates at various large and small gyms/studios in the city for over 10 years and have never experienced blatant racism that was said and displayed in this studio today. i couldn't imagine being a somalian student or client walking into class excited to move and have fun and then hearing something as disgusting as tara said today ON THE MIC. i absolutely will not be coming back to solid core st louis park. i hope that this is taken care of in a professional manner and the right ramifications are put in place.

I had an amazing time at solidcore today. It was my first class and Emi is such an amazing instructor. She made sure I knew what to do every step of the way and really welcomed me to the studio. She is very sweet, attentive, and makes time fly! Am so excited for my next class!!

Thought this was a good workout but you can barely hear the instructors over the blaring music and the teachers don’t correct your form. I ended up hurting my self during the classes and can’t do anything besides rest right now. I wouldn’t recommend Solidcore to anyone.

I absolutely love solidcore! It’s such an amazing workout, and I know I’ll stick with it for years to come. The app is super easy to navigate, the coaches are knowledgeable and kind, and as a bonus, this location has a heated underground parking ramp — which is such a lifesaver in the winter! 10/10 recommend!

I love solidcore! The app makes it super easy to schedule, and the workout is comparable to none. I've never hurt so good in my whole life. A great addition, especially for runners looking for a strength cross-training option. Plus, the St. Louis Park has heated underground parking, making it easier to brave the cold to get to class.

The best full body workout experience, you will definitely feel your muscles shake , just means that you're getting your muscles toned up. The class goes by super fast, I really enjoyed how my instructor Tara England constantly worked the entire room and made rounds to ensure proper use of equipment and position of poses.
I took the beginner class, I highly recommend this class first if you dont have experience with the reform machine.

Hardest (in a Great way) most effective workout in the Twin Cities. I am a former competitive road cyclist, state champion mountain biker & am always seeking ways to sculpt a great body and this is the winner. More effective than biking 200+ miles a week... can you believe it??? I'm Not looking to be big in the upper body like many workouts will make women look (crossFit, Orange theory). I think women should be more bottom heavy, slim waisted and more like a "sculpted ballerina" to have an ideal figure. But hey, that's just me.
I noticed some of the negative reviews about solidcore are because the workouts too hard for a newbie. Yes, it is. And that's why I like it. There are dozens and dozens of Pilates places that I suggest newbies learn how to do Pilates in first and then move over to solidcore. I own a Deep Tissue Bodywork studio in Saint Paul and I refer most of my clients to Pilates, but I would never send them to Solidcore to start with. Always start with traditional Pilates, in private lessons, to learn how to properly hold your body and do the moves... THEN you can graduate solidcore.

Don't recommend this fitness studio since they dont answer phone calls, emails or voice messages. If you want to join a real gym/fitness studio or support brands that accept new clients, listen to concerns, actually assist and care for new people to join their community. Instead of highly entitled white women only conservative discriminatory/silent racism clubs quite sad when you research who owns this brand!

So this is a difficult one to rate. For someone who is already in great shape or very athletic, this is likely an awesome experience and what.a.workout. But I want to share my experience as a not in shape, not experienced with the equipment first-timer. It was awful! I went early to get help with the machine and the two girls working paid ZERO attention to me even though I was the only person there. They didn’t greet me or anything so I explained I was new and nervous and and I wanted some help and she said I’ll explain some when class starts. I felt dismissed and very intimated and got next to any help with the equipment.
So class starts and it was so hard I just started laughing a few times. I am a body-positive person generally but I felt like the only people who went here were in perfect shape and frankly, I felt ashamed. That is certainly a self projection but I’m just saying levels would be amazing. This is NOT for a beginner, period. I’d love to see you offer more options of levels and perhaps some more helpful staff.

If you haven't tried this workout you are missing out! The class itself is unlike any other class I've ever taken. Studio is dark & has all blur lights, music is loud and upbeat. Its it the best way to start or end your day. The vibe is amazing and the coaches are absolutely fantastic. They push & motivate you in all the best ways! I highly recommend trying it.

[solidcore] is my favorite. It never get easier, you only feel stronger. As a long distance runner I avoid any HIIT or high intensity workout if I can help it. [solidcore] allows me to burn similar calories and gain muscle in a quick 50-minutes.

A workout like you have never done before. Under the blue lights, you are there for the experience, the insanely fun workout, and the community with those working next to you! It's low impact on the joints, but intense when it comes to muscle strength! You'll never forget your first (or your 500th) class. Thankful for this community!

solidcore has changed the way I feel about working out. The classes are challenging, yet still low impact. The coaches are engaged, passionate, and care about you as a person. And most of all the results I have seen in my first few months are unmatched by any other workout I have ever done. Highly recommend!

I was looking forward to trying a new workout. Called to find out more info and no one answered or called back. Dropped in to learn more and if there’s a class I could sign up for to check it out. I told the receptionist I am new and would like sign up for a class. She asked if I signed up online and I hadn’t since I was dropping in earlier to figure that out. She basically told me the classes are full and left it at that. She showed no interest in trying to help me find a different class and wasn’t welcoming in any way.

Amazing workout studio! If you are looking for a workout that is safe for your joints and still had the ability to work your muscle to complete fatigue, this is the spot. Best core workout I have had yet.....plus every instructor is amazing and gives a unique twist to the workout. It’s a must try!

Absolutely amazing workout! Felt like a one on one training session even though my butt was getting kicked with about a dozen other attendees. To me a great class involves a tough workout, great music, a passionate instructor who knows how to motivate the participates, and energy of those in the class. Solid Core had all of this. I'm looking forward to returning!!
