*STAY AWAY * I joined this gym years ago in 2020 and after going for a number of months and even having a personal trainer I went in and canceled my membership mainly to switch to the Y because of the location and cost. Now 4 years later no bills no calls no nothing i suddenly am getting sued for “unpaid dues” for nearly 2k due to some error I’m somehow responsible for months of membership without using their gym, and why they didn’t close my account after a few months of non payment is beyond me, besides racking up a bill and collecting later. Dont sign anything here and go somewhere else

Absolutely the most disgusting and unprofessional gym I have ever encountered. They overcharge, they lie, and worst of all, they allow their staff to bully infants and young children in the kids club—yes, children. I went straight to the owners with direct evidence, including confirmation from their own MANAGER that this was the employee’s third strike and final warning, and they still chose to protect the bully instead of the children. They did nothing. No accountability. No consequences. No basic human decency.

This place is a joke run by people with zero morals, zero integrity, and zero concern for the safety of kids. If this is how they respond when a child is mistreated, imagine what else they sweep under the rug.

If I could, I would give them 0 out of 5 stars. Do not support this gym. Do not trust these people with your children. Do not give them a dollar of your money. There are bad businesses, and then there are dangerous ones—this gym falls into the latter. Stay far far far away.

Not only does the gym offer many amenities but the staff and people who workout here are very nice and respectful. I love how the sauna stays clean and never smells, I’ve been to other gyms where the saunas are cramped and stink and it was not enjoyable. Definitely would recommend.

The staff here are all very helpful and friendly. The physical trainers are great motivators, and can help set up a routine specific to one’s needs.

There is a 50/50 mix of young people and older people. Everyone here is serious about improving their health and fitness, 30 year olds and 80 year olds alike. The members are all very friendly and helpful, too. If you are insure how to use a machine, anyone would be happy to help.

Also, they have a nice pool, large jacuzzi, and sauna. The equipment and pool area are all well-maintained and clean. Membership is comparable to the other gyms in the area, and silver sneakers members enjoy free and/or discounted fees.

I would encourage everyone to join, except I also like how it’s not too crowded…

Front desk staff is very kind and professional. I'm greeted when I arrive and sent off with a farewell when I leave. It's a nice personal touch. The place is neat and clean. There aren't random weights laying around as I've seen in other gyms. I frequently use the pool and am especially fond of being able to sign up for a lane beforehand. I've been a member for a few years now and don't have any major qualms about Sta Fit.

I called and canceled my membership 2 years ago…2 years ago, let that sink in. Lately I’ve been getting texts saying to pay my bill, I’ve ignored it thinking it’s scam..also got texts saying my ID has been scanned and when I come in and use the gym I need to pay, I haven’t been in there in 2 years..finally I clicked on the link for this “bill” they want me to pay…$2,000?!?! Umm hahaha very funny. Not happening this is absolutely ridiculous.
Edit to add, I haven't heard anything in 2 years, I just recieved a letter in the mail that they are sueing me?! STAY AWAY!!! I tried to cancel my membership over 4 YEARS AGO! I stopped going in, I am thinking they fraudulently scanned my card from my previous review (as it was on an old keychain I threw away years ago) they have made no contact other than now they are trying to sue me?! Apparently I got banned for grooming myself in the men’s lockerroom….Nice facility but the new ownership’s spouse is a bit sensitive to put it kindly, I said I know it can be tacky doing in the men’s locker room working there prior for years & being an on n off member there since I was 20 witnessing many others but out of convenience that occasionally takes a back seat to personal hygiene being that might be thee only time & place I shower that day n was….She said yeah it is tacky imagine if everyone did it…I held it in but I also say the same thing about pulling out cash from my local US bank too, that I gotta wait till after closing cause pullin out cash from the bank is super tacky being cash shouldn’t be needed what requires cash nothing good & Imagine if everyone did 🤷🏼‍♂️ don’t blame her though everyone she’s just trying to fit in must be hard in a new community 🥲

After 7 years of dedicated membership at sta fit, I am deeply disappointed by the recent treatment I received from the front desk staff, particularly the owner's daughter. Despite my longstanding loyalty, I was subjected to rude and unwelcoming behavior during a billing dispute, wasting precious time arguing over payment details. The situation escalated when I provided my bank account information for payment processing, only to be demanded to provide a debit card as secondary payment, adding unnecessary stress to an already unpleasant encounter. As a result of this disrespectful treatment, I've made the decision to cancel my membership this week and take my fitness services elsewhere, where my presence and loyalty are genuinely valued. It's disheartening to part ways with a gym I've called home for so long, but the lack of professionalism and regard for members' concerns leaves me with no other choice. It’s also disheartening to experience such treatment, especially from someone in a position of privilege. I urge the management to address these issues promptly to maintain the welcoming atmosphere the center has prided itself on in the past.

To be quite frank I don’t know where to start from. I’ve been to many gyms around the world and I have not seen something like this before. For starters the pricing of the gym is outrageous for the type of gym there’re running. The equipments are super old, the bathrooms and locker room are never clean and they have mold on the walls. If the price of the gym reflected how the gym itself was, I’d have zero issues paying there high fee! But to be charging someone $60+ for this gym and locking them into a very long term contract is very wrong. I forgot to put down they don’t let you take photos of yourself to see any progress. Nice employees though.

Been working out here for over 2 years now and won't be leaving any time soon! Great equipment provided for heavy lifters as well as light machines and free weights! That along with a sauna, large pool and hot tub there's no where else to turn my eyes. Staff is amazing, Ashley and Kim are always ready to greet me and help out with grabbing my pre and post working supplements. I have yet to try the tennis courts, tanning beds or virtual golf but plan to in the near future. If your looking for an overall type of gym with nice opening and closing times, this one is definitely it! STA FIT!

After spending a long time trying different gyms, I was so excited to find that Sta-Fit supports a membership through Active and Fit which is a program where you can be a member of multiple gyms for $32 a month. I began training at Sta-Fit most every day while sometimes visiting other gyms for resources that Sta-Fit lacks like newer cardio machines. The environment is extremely welcoming and the staff are very friendly! For the price of $32 a month to have access to 3 gyms, I was happy. Sta-Fit is now cancelling their relationship with the Active and Fit program and I can not be paying the base price of nearly $60 a month for a gym that is in the struggling shape of Sta-Fit. The only thing that would truly support this price would be if the other 2 locations were still open, which neither one is. I am extremely disappointed in this gyms desperate grope for money, when it seems that the money is never being recycled back to the gym. Constant broken machines and equipment that seems to take weeks and weeks to be fixed, outdated cardio equipment, and not being allowed to take pictures or videos of progress are just the start of the things I am disappointed with. There are much nicer gyms around the state with a lower price, unfortunately none of these are located in the St. Cloud area. While I will miss the people and the space, unfortunately I will not miss the gym as a whole.

Staff is great and super friendly. Owners need to wake up and realize what they are doing. Progressively getting more expensive while the equipment is constantly broken and takes months to “fix”. Nothing ever gets greased or lubed so every pulley jerks and squeaks. Cardio machines are old, broken, shakey and squeaky, and just disgustingly dirty. Locker room sinks constantly leak. soap dispensers are not attached, out of soap, broken. Same story for the paper towels. Attachments constantly go missing. Even things like the weights being labeled with chalk and stickers. All for a low price of $60 a month. By far the worst gym I’ve ever been to at that price. Even gyms like Alphaland and Los Campeones offer some of the best in the business for far less money a month. To top it all off, pictures and videos are banned, extremely inconvenient for people trying to send updates to a coach. Absolute joke of a gym.

I've been a StaFit member since 2017. The club has a variety of free weights & machines along with a large selection of cardio equipment. In addition, there is a swimming pool & sauna and a dome with tennis & pickleball courts surrounded by a walking track. There is a variety of exercise classes, and instructors are knowledgeable and prepared. Likewise, the owner and front desk staff are professional. They greet members, are genuinely friendly, and attend to needs and concerns. Lastly, the club and equipment is well maintained and clean. Scam. Sartell Stafit requires you to sign a 12-18 month lease. Fine print on the contract allows them to raise the price whenever they want, even if you signed for specific amount. Language in the contract says you have five days to cancel after the contract ends and you cannot cancel before the contract ends, but you have to cancel 5 days before the monthly withdrawal goes through, which may not be the same day as the contract termination. You have to pay 1st and last month member fees at the beginning of the contract, which extend your membership another month after you try to cancel. Good luck having any conversation with them.

Okay place has gotten to expensive and always raising rates with out telling you. very busy. As a gym to work out I give it three stars as business ethics go one star. Very messed up and very binding contracts, they skimp to save money everywhere they can from turning lights off in the parking lot, after the sun goes down to sending 1000+ dollar accounts to collection even know you haven’t been there in along time and even when you call in to quit they don’t stop charging you, they will keep charging you tell the day you die so they can sell your debt to collectors, they have a partnership central resources (debt collectors in st cloud). So if they don’t care about your safety or the financial burden they put on people, I can’t imagine these guys care about your health in any shape or fashion. The ymca, rejuve, and even planet are way better option in the the long run.

SCAM gym. STAY AWAY. I’ve been to gyms all over the place with my traveling for work. This gym is by far the worst. They charge your account randomly and refuse to refund. I cancelled my membership months ago and get charged $127 randomly, then say I didn’t cancel and won’t issue me a refund. Stay away from these scammers. They have a reputation of doing this

Was on the phone with them for 30 mins in June. Whoever I talked to assured I had nothing to worry about and that my membership was cancelled.

Fast forward to September (originally cancelled membership in March and haven’t been there since) and I noticed while checking my online bank account statements that they ran my card again!!! 3 months after the second time I cancelled my membership!!! I went to my bank and had to block them from ever running my card again. Im at the point where I’m almost going to shut down and close my bank account and start over.

Also I rarely leave reviews. People and places make mistakes and I get that. I cut lots of slack. This place is total nightmare and is not worth it at all. Go to planet fitness in youre in cloud or the 24-7 gym in Monticello. This place is the worst

Scammy pricing tactics. READ the contracts carefully, the workers will push you to sign agreements with fees attached which they don’t tell you about upfront. They tell you the monthly rate, and then after you sign, they mention the huge yearly fees/other fees. There is also a fee for EVERYTHING. Including downgrading your plan, which they say you “can do at any time” at enrollment. They simply say “sign here and we will downgrade your plan no problem”, but at the bottom of the form in small writing, it states you are agreeing to a $50 downgrade fee. No mention of it upfront. You are locked into time contracts where you can’t cancel, but they can increase monthly rates whenever.

My son and I were yelled at by staff and clients due to his disability he is autistic. We were also denied accommodations for his disability. I filed a complaint at the Attorney Generals office under consumer protection to have my account cancelled. They didn't even respond to the AG'S office pretty dumb guys. They are extremely inconsistent about enforcing the mask mandate due to COVID-19, which is EXTREMELY frustrating for people who are willing to follow the rules. I’ve noticed a handful of employees turning a blind eye to customers who they’re too scared to say anything to - particularly at night and over the weekend. I will likely be reporting them to the MN Department of Health due to their negligence.

In my opinion, this gym is by far the worst gym I have ever been apart of. There are never any staff doing any sort of cleaning, the locker rooms always look like a tornado went through them. When the gym was closed, members still got charged the full amount and contract holders were not offered an extension. If your card declines for membership dues, there is an automatic $35 charge with no curtesy call. The managers and owners only care about money and they do not care on who they step on to get it. Find a different gym or work out at home. Would not go back here if they paid me to.

Really friendly staff good equipment and very kind customers(experience may vary on the last part) I felt welcomed and respected despite my slightly larger eh... Size, anyways it is a fantastic place to go to and I highly recommend anyone who wants to go to a gym to go to this one. Only complaint I have is quite a few machines aren't too clearly labeled so if you aren't too knowledgable on them you may need to find staff or a willing customer.

I switched to Stayfit from the YMCA because their pools were warmer and their hot tubs were awesome. They have tanning booths and. Excellent. Cardio equipment. Very happy with my choice.

I went the the Sartell location and the vikings game was on but not on the tv. I asked if they could change the channel to it and they said "we are under strict orders to not to change the channel." I was very confused on why that is a rule. So, my question to the management is why can't you change the channels? Seems kinda dumb if you ask me

Really need to either update gym hours online or stick to those hours better. Went to the gym yesterday with my friend and we were asked to leave at 10:00 when their hours online clearly said they were open until midnight. Very frustrating that I’m paying this much for a membership and I can’t even be sure when I can get a workout in.

I really do enjoy this gym, but it has its downfalls. For instance their hours are posted to close at midnight on Fridays (in the summer at least). I was just asked to leave at 10pm because they were supposedly closing. Not sure if it's based on clientele in the facility at the time or what, but it surely is disappointing when you're trying to get a workout in after work and you're cut short. Other than that it's like a 4 star facility, but their staff is at best two stars.

They promote their student discount rates around the time school starts to get people to enroll then charge you their annual fee of around $40 on top of the enrollment fee. Then they raise their membership prices without notice, claiming they've contacted everyone via email or postcards. I started my membership at their student rate of $25 then they raised it to $33 just a few months later. Today I checked my bank statements and was charged $37 for the membership as they raised it again without notice. After calling and asking about it, no one was helpful and the only explanation was that "the owner wants all membership prices to be the same."

How can you promote a student rate and assure me my rate wont change then all the sudden charge me more and more without notice?

This is a premium Gym at an affordable rate with great staff of friendly and knowledge trainers to help you get on the right path to a more fit and healthy life. Trevor one of the Owners is very dedicated to making the place the best gym in central Min. The tennis dome is a New one looks fresh and clean with a walking track around the courts. Golfers can get excited for a simulation room is being added near the front desk to the left. The maint. Team does a superb job keeping the gym neat clean and attractive for all members and guests. Tv's are also nice to view news and entertainment from the treadmills and many other pieces of fitness machines. All in all if they keep improving this Gym will continue running like a well oiled Chevy or ford Truck providing decades of service to its members and guests. Have fun and work out your body may say no at first but after a few months of dedication and results you will want to go more routinely.

Difficult to work with when just trying to change a Group number on my insurance. Can't bring it to my location, because the person who does the insurance stuff and at the main one. No fax to send it. Rep says to bring it to my location. Already tried that. Insurance hasnt been submitted for 3 months. Oh, and the green rug that is up at my location was put it and pushed a lot of good equipment out the door. There is a room that is hardly used that would be a great place for that green carpet where 2 to 3 people use it for their group training

Out of the few places I've worked out at, this is been my favorite. Membership is reasonable for what you're getting, updated weight machines and knowledgeable staff do help. Except for the guy that likes to do deadlifts and drops them from 3 feet high. You know who you are, you should not do that. With as many people that work out there, this place should stink you think, no. They keep this place really clean. Thanks guys.
