A boutique studio located in Delano, Minnesota. Offering individual and group training sessions. Sunrise Fitness is your local destination for starting or continuing your fitness journey. All are welcome. No matter how big or small your goals, our personalized approach is designed to help you every step of the way.

Kate Leis, personal trainer & owner of Sunrise Fitness. Kate loves to help people get moving, get healthy & get fit. Certified through the American Council on Exercise; Kate also holds additional certifications in Silver & Fit, Silver Sneakers, Precision Nutrition, Road Runners Club of America Level 1 coach, and United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy ultra running coach.

I have been attending classes at Sunrise Fitness for about a year and a half now, and I can confidently say that this gym is wonderful!! The coaches rock. All of them program effective and fun workouts that can easily be modified to suit a total beginner, or challenge a seasoned athlete. When you come to Sunrise, you can expect the coaches to go that extra mile - they pay attention to each person and do an excellent job remembering our unique needs and abilities, and they use that to prevent injuries but also to push us to get better every day. The payment style is great for me - they offer an unlimited subscription but also punchcard style packages. Anyway, I just LOVE the programming and the community here!

100 out of 5 stars!! ⭐️ Kate is knowledgeable, motivating, kind, and an awesome coach / teacher. She believes in you and coaches you to work hard. Each session / class I learn something valuable and do something I didn’t know I was capable of. Also- everyone who attends class is welcoming, kind, and supportive. A really great environment.

With two young kids, I fell out of a regular exercise routine and started taking classes at Sunrise Fitness to help me get back into an active lifestyle. It has been such a welcoming, encouraging experience. Fitness classes can be intimidating (especially when you're out of practice), but Kate is so kind and coaches wonderfully with tips, tricks, and corrections to help me optimize my workout. I would highly recommend Sunrise Fitness to anyone.

As a senior, I have been taking classes at Sunrise Fitness on and off for a few years now. The classes are enjoyable, relaxed, and the other people are welcoming. Kate is very organized, flexible, and aware of individual needs. Before I started, I did not realize how bad my balance was. I am happy with the results and would recommend classes or training to others.

Such a welcoming experience! The classes are challenging, but in a good way-I promise! I have learned so much about myself physically. I’ve always considered myself a fairly active person, but have never lifted weights before that I can remember, and it’s been years since I have had a gym membership. As I got into my 40’s, I needed to DO something more and felt a little blah. Believe me, with every class I have asked numerous times things like, “what am I supposed to do again?” I don’t know the lingo for the exercises, the form, or knowing weight # was hard to figure out. “Where do you to start?” And, “how and when do you increase weights, etc?” I was given helpful guidance and next step up challenges as we moved forward with consistency. I loved the wall quote I saw today. . .”Remember. . .we get to do this.”

My 1-1 sessions with Tatum are exactly what I needed to grow in strength and get back on track in my fitness goals. The studio is peaceful, and having that space all to yourself with a trainer makes it even better. Going to a new fitness studio or gym is always intimidating, but that personal level of training curated just for you is exactly what Sunrise gives.

I have been attending classes at Sunrise Fitness for about 8 months and have learned so much about what it means to be strong and healthy in my 40s. I decided to join Sunrise after my gym workouts started to feel boring. The culture at Sunrise is top notch. The classes are a great mix of strength & cardio with a strong emphasis on becoming a stronger you both physically and mentally! Started attending classes at Sunrise about a month ago. I work out a lot on my own, but wanted some group motivation. I couldn't be happier with the classes. Everyone in the community, starting with Kate, the owner and the other instructors has been welcoming and supportive. Classes I've attended are a mix of strength and cardio and are very easy to scale to your fitness level. There are folks of all shapes, sizes and ages. No judgement. So happy to have found Sunrise.

I started Senior Strong classes a few months ago after lapsing in exercise for quite awhile. I am amazed how much stronger and more energetic I've become and my balance is so much better. I started attending classes at Sunrise Fitness because I wanted to incorporate weights into my fitness routine. I have had gym memberships, but I don’t know how many sets or reps to do, how heavy should I lift, etc At Sunrise Fitness the coaches will plan the class workout,which will tell me how many sets/reps. The coaches will give helpful suggestions, they will encourage and motivate me to try my hardest. If you are a beginner like me or even a fitness veteran come try a class at Sunrise Fitness. Each class can modified for your fitness journey.

I am really enjoying personal training with owner & Trainer, Kate. She is extremely knowledgeable and builds workouts that challenge me yet protect my injured knee. I am getting stronger and feel more confident going into surgery. The small group classes are nice as well if I can’t get to a 1:1 session. Thanks, Kate!
