The Dance Academy teaches the art of dance to toddlers through adults. Kay Williams Prunty opened The Dance Academy in 1996 and has over 200 students per year learn to love dance. Whatever the skill level, TDA has classes to enhance confidence, coordination, balance, strength, flexibility, and musicality. Classes range from focus on fun and socialization to elite advanced techniques. Classes include ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, contemporary, musical theatre, and worship dance styles. Fun for all ages: tiny-tot toddlers, elementary, pre-teen, teen, high school, adult.

Kay welcomed my daughter to her studio with open arms! My daughter was interested in trying new styles of dance and Kay has been helping her not only learn, but be challenged as well. The positivity and encouragement is exactly what my child was needing. My daughter really looks up to Kay! The sparkle and fun of the routines and performances is fantastic as well. Kay really knows how to put on a great show! Can’t wait for competition season!
