Pilates has helped me find and strengthen my core.(I've also lost weight ). The staff are great and tailor my sessions to how I'm feeling. Such as working with a sore knee or a migraine. I feel better afterwards. Lots of laughter with the staff and others. I can contact a trainer at any time with questions or an update on how I'm doing. I look forward to each session and my new friends.

The best pilates studio ever. The level of each expertise that these instructors have are unmatched. If you want to experience real pilates this is the place! You'll have noticeable results in a short amount of time. Your body will feel amazing and you'll become addicted! I've been to several different studios and I keep coming back to this one. Vikki is one of my favorite instructors, she always has variety in her classes and you won't feel like you're doing the same thing.

I go to the Pilates Body matt class every Saturday morning before I play tennis. It is the perfect way to stretch my body (especially my back). It is a great way to start my weekend! I highly recommend Pilates Body.

The Pilates Body is a joy in my life. Lisa and all the instructors are so professional and kind and are always so encouraging. I love the whole vibe in the studio. It's changed everything for me for the better. I'm stronger, have better balance am still challenged at every session. My brain works, too, listening for the cues and focusing. I can see and feel my progress. I was 66 years when I started and still getting better at nearly 73 years. I know I can do this for the rest of my life. Iβm so grateful for The Pilates Body. The Pilates Body has been a wonderful experience for me! The staff are kind, encouraging, and the studio is clean and has everything you need. Lisa, the owner was very accommodating and responsive when having to reschedule my first session. I was completely new to Pilates and my instructor, Mikayla is so sweet, works with me at the level Iβm at, and also helps push me. She also is always hyper aware of checking in with how my body is doing that day and making sure Iβm using proper form. I couldnβt recommend this studio more. Iβve already told several friends about it and how much fun Iβve had learning a new way to exercise!

I started at The Pilates Body in summer of 2021. My body has definitely transformed into a "Pilates Body" since then! I attend weekly group reformer sessions as well as a variety of barre, tower, and mat classes that are all engaging, fun, and comfortable, but challenging too. The instructors are top notch with impeccable training and expertise. My favorite is Viki but all will keep you in top form! You are in great hands here.

My daughter recommended 3 years ago that I go to Pilates Body. I started with Yamuna Body Rolling 3 years ago with Viki. Intestinal surgery in 2011 and other surgeries had left me with much scar tissue. I was told I would be back for more surgery within 7 years. With Yamaha I have avoided surgery and have very little trouble with eating. I was also having trouble with my breathing from bad posture and it was affecting my voice. Also I had breast cancer in 2001 with bilateral breast surgery which has caused a lot of scar tissue. Viki has worked with me on all of these issues and I am more physically active and can even sing again now that I can breathe so much better. Pilates is giving me a better quality of life for my age.

Beyond doctor physical therapy!!! With a painful spinal condition, physical therapy was not isolating the muscle groups like Lisa H. She knows exactly what muscles to target and which ones to stay away from. I go twice a week. We are able to strengthen my body and certain muscles while staying away from the areas that hurt around my spine. The facility is top notch with beautiful new versatile equipment that Lisa knows exactly how to use. A gem of Woodbury for sure. Massage is available as well as other services. Relax stretch or rehabilitation, this is the place!!

Oh my goodness! The Pilates Body has been by far the Best workout studio I have ever attended!
My first experience was an introduction to the Pilates equipment and techniques with Chris who was so great! The owner and staff members have been so welcoming and always eager to assist with any and all questions. My Reformer classes with VIKI have been the best ever! Vikiβs classes are fun while still being a great workout. She is compassionate, Pilates knowledgeable, informative and assists each client with the correct positions to get the very most out of each exercise. I would absolutely recommend The Pilates Body to anyone looking for a complete workout in an awesome atmosphere!!!

I suffer from Pelvic Floor dysfunction. From the time that I started doing Yamuna and Pilates with Vicki and Lisa I have made more progress in my physical therapy than I have ever made before. My mental health and my physical health are better now than they have ever been. My endometriosis pain is lowered, my pelvic floor has the ability to relax, my anxiety is lower, and my self esteem is higher. I am forever grateful to this studio!!

After finishing up breast cancer treatment, I was looking for a program to help me begin to physically recover. I googled and found The Pilates Body offered a breast cancer rehab program so I decided to look into it, even though I was not familiar with Pilates. I am so happy I did! After a consultation with Lisa, she created a rehab plan for me that not only focused on the upper body, but the total body too. The one-on-one sessions with trainers is an ideal way to learn Pilates in a safe and positive environment. After just a few short months, I feel stronger and, best of all, more hopeful of a healthy, active future! The studio setting is fabulous and the equipment is pristine and well maintained (excellent COVID protocols too). You have to visit soon for a personal session or one of the many varieties of classes available....you'll be so glad you did!

I had back problems for years until I started with The Pilates Body. The trainers and the programs made a world of difference. I have done privates, duos and group reformer classes and love them all. I love The Pilates 'body! The additional benefit of Yamuna training helps keep my body healthy and pain-free! I wish everyone I know could have this experience, especially when older people walk bent over or obviously hurting. I'm in the Seniors class and I think they are going to have to dd more classes with Viki and/or Terri. They know their stuff! They understand how the body works and offer everyone in their classes personal attention.

The Pilates Body is a fabulous small (very personal) studio with an amazing staff of trainers and a variety of options for working out. Iβve been coming to TPB for nearly 5 years, after completing PT for a hip repair, as a means for improving my strength and flexibility. I fell in love! I love the little family I have in class and the relationship I have with Teri built through 1:1 private sessions. Canβt say enough about this studio and crew - Iβve never been more fit and feeling good in my life (and thatβs saying something as I turn the corner to 50!).

Pilates Body has helped me become more aware of the importance of my 'power house/core'. I've used both group and private training and highly recommend a combination of both. The instructors are very knowledgeable and take into consideration each persons limitations by doing a check-in at the start of each session. Because I have an autoimmune disease that affects my joints and spine, my body varies from day to day on what it can accomplish without provoking injury. The instructors meet me where I'm at in a given day and encourage modified positions. Some of the classes I enjoy most are Yamuna, Pilates Mat, Tower and TRX.

I can't say enough about the Pilates Body, Lisa and her team! After having two babies in 18 months in my late 30's, my whole body hurt and specifically my back. I knew that I had to strengthen my core muscles for that to go away. I started with a basic package for personal training and I've never stopped after 4 years. I LOVE pilates and it has helped me so much with mobility and strength. Through injuries, Lisa has been able to help strengthen and focus on particular parts of my body to help me heal and get stronger. I would recommend this business as I love the customer service and how they tailor your pilates workout to the individual needs of the client. What are you waiting for????

For the past 15 yrs. I've done yoga, cardio & lifting at the gym 4-6 days a week. Then I could no longer have weight bearing on my shoulders due to osteoarthritis. My orthopedic surgeon, PT & trainer suggested Pilates.
If you want that euphoric feeling after a workout this is it! I feel like I'm walking on air after a session. The staff is incredible and has worked around my ailments. I've gotten stronger, more physically fit and have changed my posture. It's also eliminated sore joint pain and sciatica.
I highly recommend doing private sessions so you can learn the positioning of your body correctly and use of equipment. It will make all the difference in the world. RUN don't walk to this studio. Life transformation at its finest!

I started Pilates a few months ago. I tried a trial free class and learned what Pilates was about. Having osteoporosis and being a breast cancer survivor I truly thought this would be a great fit for me and I was right! I love it and the staff! I have tried a few different classes and have liked them all. Although it can be challenging they have ways to modify and are so understanding. Although I have been a Pilates Body client for over 7 years, I wanted to share my experience with Pilates Body just last week.
I was in all five days last week (5 days in a row at PB will kick some @$%), and was absolutely blown away at how great this studio really is. So diverse in their classes, instructors, and outcomes! I had the privilege of working with everyone. Private with Viki, Advanced classes with Teri & Justine, and got to take a class with Sarah & Jennifer. WOW, how great did I feel & look this weekend!
I also spent some time with my chiropractor as I have some discβs that are deteriorating and we examined my X-rays. He said with Pilates by my side the last 6-7 years is why I am in such good shape with the situation I have. He said that my spine is looking better than it would had I not been a student of pilates. I am in love with The Pilates Body. I have been going to the studio almost a year now and I feel fabulous! ALL of the trainers are highly educated and very detailed in their training. I have a history of neck, shoulder and back issues. I now feel better and stronger than ever. I really like the small class sizes and there are so many to choose from. I've been doing Pilates at The Pilates Body in Woodbury for a year and a half now and it has changed my life. I no longer have nagging pain in any part of my body, my stability and balance have greatly improved and my core and upper body strength (an area my trainer and I have worked on specifically) is better than I ever thought it would be at my age (63). The Pilates Body is an amazing place to go for overall health and wellness. I started there almost 3 years ago after searching for the best exercise and strength-building plan following several surgeries. I was hooked after my first Pilates intro session with Owner Lisa Hein. I now have been working with Trainer Viki Mills for the last several years (she is also the Nutritional guru). The personalized attention keeps me coming back week after week. I also use TPB's onsite Acupuncturist, Courtni, for additional treatments. They are my personal wellness center!

I have been taking classes from Jennifer for over a year. As I get older I need more flexibility and core strength. These people know how the muscles work and make the movements and routines fit each client. I am not getting a canned routine. All the instructors have and continue to take classes to make the workouts challenging but also modified to meet different levels of ability. Want to feel an inch or two taller? Come get a wonderful stretch here!
