I dropped my daughter off for her first silk lesson. I was told I couldn’t watch. When I returned to pick her up, 10 minutes earlier than the end of the lesson, there were 4 adults watching the lesson. My 9 year old daughter overheard one of the parents comment on her lack of knowledge and skill. When we got in the car to leave she broke down in tears. I am so disappointed and angry with the Pole Barn Studio!!!! I will not recommend this place to anyone!!!

I love the Pole Barn. I have been going for a few months now a couple times a week and it is one of the best workouts I've done. Everyone at the studio is so nice and welcoming, I instantly felt like I had met a great new group of friends. The instructors are super accommodating, and as a plus-sized woman I felt totally at ease and was able to do pretty much everything with their help. Al specifically has been a huge supporter of mine and a constant cheerleader during class, I love taking her classes and have already seen a huge improvement on what I can do with her help.

I have always hated going to the gym because I find it so boring, and without seeing any results after a few visits get discouraged and quit. I can’t tell you how much money I have wasted paying for a gym membership that I went to at most a handful of times. I found The Pole Barn 8 months ago after a friend of mine took a few classes and recommended it to me. I have been wanting to take pole dancing classes for a few years so I was really excited, and I have loved it from the moment I walked through the door. Not only am I doing workouts that are so incredibly fun, but the ladies that I get to pole dance with and do aerial silks with are amazingly supportive, encouraging, and inspirational. Some places are so cliquey that it makes going there uncomfortable, never once have I experienced that kind of attitude at the studio. Everyone welcomed me in the moment I walked through the door and everyone loudly cheers on others’ accomplishments. I started seeing results after only 3 classes, and after only 8 months I am the strongest and fittest I have ever been in my life. But, not only that, I for the first time in my life have a positive self-image and feel sexy. Watching my muscles change and the definition start to show has been the most empowering thing to happen to me. I feel like I have taken myself back for ME and I am making me the best I can.

I absolutely love taking pole dance and aerial silks classes at the Pole Barn Studio. The facility is beautiful and clean with so much character, and everyone is incredibly friendly and supportive. I first saw The Pole Barn while walking around Stillwater and when they had a free trial class, I signed up. The morning of the class, I was thinking about chickening out--I was sure I'd be the oldest person there (I'm nearly 50), would be klutzy, embarrassed, etc. My very supportive husband encouraged me to go, "Oh, just go. You have nothing to lose but your dignity," he said. I laughed and that gave me the courage to give it a try. I'm glad I did. The workouts make exercise fun...both pole and silks give a much better workout than I imagined, yet there are certain moves you can succeed at right off the bat. Even better, the women who take classes there are incredibly supportive and encouraging of each other. It's a really special place and attracts women of all ages. I took my two college-age daughters to a pole class with me and they had a blast. If you want a unique, fun, empowering workout--look no further.

I took a silks class with Amanda Voss and it was amazing! I thought that it would take me forever to be able to do some movements with the silks but Amanda made it so easy. I have taken a chair dancing class with Shellie Winkel as well and it was fa nominal, she really knows how to give you a workout. I can tell that these two girls enjoy there jobs. There were very hands on and walked me through every step. The owners name is Rochelle and she made me feel right at home the second I walked in! This studio is in Stillwater, MN so it is a bit of a drive for me, but it is worth every mile! Love this studio! I would recommend this studio to any ladies who are either looking for a great work out, wanting to build new friends and relationships, and or just wanting to spoil there mates.

I had an amazing time and a phenomenal workout! I was a bit nervous and skeptical at first to go out of my comfort zone (flipping upside down did not seem normal). BUT IT WAS A BLAST!! Amanda did a fantastic job instructing each detail of the silks movement. I immediately felt I could trust her, and over came a fear!
Then the workout! Wow, used muscles i didn't even know I had.

The Pole Barn is wonderful! I was looking for options for a fun workout to help me get back into shape and I found the Pole Barn in Stillwater. I decided to try a pole dance class and I was hooked, I signed up that night for their beginner pole course and had such a great time I signed up for a membership. The instructors are wonderful, everyone is so nice and the classes are so much fun. I plan on trying the Silks and Pole fitness next, I definitely recommend The Pole Barn.

I was the maid of honor for one of my best friends wedding and all of the wedding party was flying into MN from all over the world. I took a chance on this studio not knowing what it looked like because of their prompt response and great client relations All I can say is, WOW what a night! Rochelle, helped me through one amazing surprise bachelorette party. We were able to bring wine and champagne, spend time learning aerial tricks, barre, and a sexy little routine on the pole. Rochelle took time to snap photos of us and really get to know each of us. I couldnt be more happy with our experience. Thank you for making one night our bride will remember forever!

We just had my bachelorette party here and it was so much fun! My party had girls of all skills levels and range in confidence on the poles and Rochelle made it fun for all of us. SOOO MUCCCCH FUN! I had my bachelorette party there and I am SOOO happy we decided to do that. I thought it would be kind of boring because we might start out kinda shy around each other since none of us had ever done this before, but our instructor saw that and asked if we just wanted her to teach us a routine instead! So glad she did that! That TOTALLY broke the ice! we just followed what she told us to do and felt SUPA SEXAY and twerked it UP! HAHA we even learned the Money $hot & a couple of different spinny moves! ;) my arms KILLED the next day & the next day, but we had so much fun it was worth it! Thank you for helping me host an awesome party! OH! And I forgot to mention the SILKS! I want to come back just for those! That was the most fun ever! I felt like I should try out for Cirque du Soleil after that haha! So cool! I didn't even know that was part of the package so that was a cool surprise!

The Pole Barn is a great place for women of all fitness levels to come together, get fit and have fun! Beautiful facility (10 poles) fantastic instructors (all certified). Wide variety of classes from Barre, Flex, Silks, Pole Fitness to Pole Dance. I love that they have so many classes with varying start times through out the week. There is no need for any other gym memberships, the Pole Barn takes care of all my fitness needs. The location is very easy to find and there is lots of free parking. Fun to take a class or two and hit the shops or restaurants afterwards!
