I joined The Underground this summer and I cannot recommend it enough. I have been doing personal training with Coach Emily for a couple months now and she is changing my life! I am 37 years old and thought my athlete days were dead....I hadn't been to the gym regularly in years. We are literally bringing my body back to life! Emily knows how to push and motivate me while also being just a genuinely awesome person. Kacie has created an actual "judgement free zone" that I look forward to coming to every session. I am excited to get to know and grow with this community of strong women.

I started at The Underground in early 2025, and I can’t even begin to describe how much this gym has changed my life. I’ve always thought of myself as an active person, but I’ve struggled with chronic back issues for years. I’ve been to specialists, PTs, chiropractors, even had steroid shots and traveled out of state for stem cell injections, but nothing truly helped.
I knew I needed to strengthen the area around my back, but every attempt in the past felt so slow and frustrating. Then I took a practice class with Kacie at The Underground, and I was hooked immediately. Her programming, energy, and approach were exactly what I had been searching for.
In class recently I found myself pushing a weight across the floor on my hands and knees, and the realization hit me: a few months ago, I never would have been able to do that. I can sit on the floor with my kids and get up without tears (which sounds easy, but was very difficult previously). I don’t collapse to the floor in pain anymore. I have more energy, I feel stronger in my body, and I look forward to every workout.
On top of that, the community of women here is amazing, supportive, encouraging, and fun. The environment Kacie has created is truly special. I trust her and her process and programming completely, and I’m so grateful for the way she’s helped me reclaim not just my mobility, but my confidence and quality of life.
Thank you, Kacie and The Underground, for helping me feel stronger, more capable, and able to enjoy my kids and my daily life again.

I've tried every gym membership in the east metro - you name it, I've been there. It always felt like such a chore to go and I found myself coming up with excuses to avoid going. But The Underground in Stillwater is completely different from your average gym and it has changed the way I feel about working out (and lifting!). I had tried strength training at other gyms before and attempted it at home, but I just never felt confident in what I was doing and it didn't seem to show any results. I came across The Underground and decided to schedule a 1:1 training session because I thought it would be worth my time and money to work with a trainer vs. paying for gym memberships that I don't use enough. 10/10 would highly recommend - I cannot say enough great things about this place! Both trainers are amazing - Kacie and Emily, YOU ROCK! These women help you grow, they challenge you, and they take time to get to know you as a person. I've been going to the small group personal training sessions for a few months now and it has become something I look forward to every day. I've gone from dreading the gym to being genuinely excited about going to workout every day. This place has such a great sense of community and support for the women who go here - Keep up the great work!

I feel so lucky to have found this gym! It has been one of the best additions to Downtown Stillwater by far. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Kacie and Emily are knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals. The sense of community here is amazing! everyone cheers each other on, and it makes working out something I truly look forward to every time. I leave class feeling stronger, happier, and more confident. Highly recommend to anyone looking for more than just a place to work out!

I started the year off feeling a bit blue, out of shape and in no routine. I also am not a morning person but that has ALL changed. I decided to join The Underground after multiple conversations with Coach Kacie who was so receptive and accommodating! I joined the 5:45am class 3x a week and rarely miss a session. I have gained back self confidence, established a routine to prioritize myself and my health, learned how to properly lift, watch myself get stronger and gained an appreciation for starting my day at the gym.
But that is second to the community of women this gym has built. They are women I consider friends, they are an incredible support system, we have fun, we get strong, we challenge one another and it’s been more than I could have asked for or expected. I also never write reviews but this was very deserving of one! It’s been a life changer!

This gym is exactly what I have been looking for. Kacie and Emily are fantastic and supportive, the facilities are always clean, they listen and care, and the community aspect is wonderful. When I started I had a herniated disc and they made accommodations for me and were very kind and helpful!

The underground is more than a gym, it’s a family. Everyone is so supportive of each other and wants nothing but the best for one another. Kacie sincerely cares about each member not only for strength training but our overall optimal health. Emily is always encouraging and pushing members to reach their full potential. Kacie & Emily are a perfect duo. I feel so lucky to have discovered the underground and have become part of the family.

I met Kacie as she randomly landed in my chair at the salon, she quickly climbed the ranks as one of my favorite clients. After a few appointments, Kacie had told me she found a potential space to open her own gym. Soon later she had keys and was starting the demo! (Now she’s onto her second demo!!) I had told my boss (Jenna) about her and they soon got into contact with eachother. Shortly after she began taking classes with Kacie and was extremely passionate about her new found love for the gym. At the time I was doing my own thing with your typical gym membership, going more days a week but achieving much less than now. Jenna encouraged me to come join in for a class and I knew this was the place immediately. I started out by going a few days a week and lucky for me - Kacie hired a new coach, Emily! Allowing me to go daily before work! I will continue to tell everyone about this gym until I am blue in the face! I look forward to it every single day I get to go.
I’m grateful for the confidence, good feels, and friendship the Ungerground has brought me. The coaches are awesome, the groups of girls are great and the space is beautiful! I’m so proud of Kacie and her team, and I’m so glad to be a part of this gym💪❤️✨

I’m new here and already love it! The women-only space feels so comfortable, and the small class sizes mean plenty of personal attention. The owner (Kacie) and Instructor (Emily) are incredibly knowledgeable and they focus on proper form and injury prevention, which is most important at any age. Highly recommend!

Words can’t describe how I needed this place in my life. I have always been into fitness for my mental and physical health but my body was feeling burnt out when I did CrossFit and exhausted with high intensity interval classes. This gym and the most amazing community of women and the best trainer has my whole heart. It has shown me you can make strength gains, lose body fat and not have to feel like trash after your workout. I finally found something to train for life long health and couldn’t be happier with my progress!

I’m soon to enter into my 6th level of maturity, (60 years old) and my daughter suggested I try out this awesome place, (THE UNDERGROUND) to lift weights 🏋️. (I think she wants me to take care of myself so she doesn’t have to😉).
My daughter knows me so well and I trust her recommendations based on her research and experience.
I must admit I was nervous at first😬.
Well, it’s been so much fun being around other women who want to push themselves to become a better version of themselves. I am learning so much from Kacie! She really made me feel comfortable at the workouts. I’m feeling more confident and powerful. 😀

I can’t say enough great things about The Underground! After years away from the gym, I was nervous about getting back into a routine, but Kacie made the transition seamless. She is absolutely fantastic—her workouts are challenging yet doable, and she keeps me motivated every step of the way. I love that she sends weekly texts with advice and encouragement to help me stay on track.

Working out had always been a chore for me until I stepped into the Underground. I love working out now! I look forward to each workout because I can just show up and the Underground takes care of the rest. Kacie creates the perfect blend of feeling like a badass while ensuring your form is on point and that you are safely pushing yourself. Kacie is also so knowledgeable on nutrition and customizes her advice based on your needs.

I originally joined The Underground Gym with the plan to try it out for just three months, but almost six months later, here I am! As a woman about to turn 56, I wasn’t sure how well I’d do with lifting heavy weights. I knew it was time because I'd researched the need for lifting heavy weights in maintaining bone density and muscle mass. Kacie has challenged me with lifting heavy weights in a way that feels empowering and safe. The variety of class times has also been a game-changer, making it easy to fit workouts into my busy schedule. I also love how welcoming and motivating the environment is…even at 5 am!

I joined The Underground a month ago, and from day one it has been the best experience. For a while, I struggled with motivation and family distractions at home, and I reached a point where I knew I needed to make a change. Reaching out to The Underground was that change, and it’s been an incredibly positive one. From the very first small group class, I was hooked! Each session offers a wide variety of strength training techniques and movements that keep me engaged and challenged. As a very beginner, I never felt overwhelmed because Kacie does an amazing job of tailoring each workout to my level while motivating me to push beyond my limits. In addition to Kacie being an outstanding trainer, the women in each small group class have been very welcoming and kind. One other aspect I’ve really enjoyed is the scheduling app. It’s quick, efficient, and makes it easy for me to plan my week and sign up for the classes I want to attend. I made a promise to myself this year to “do the hard things,” and I am so grateful for the opportunity to do just that at The Underground!

The Underground has been an AMAZING experience for me! With a very busy day to day schedule, I've found flexibility to go get my workout done and be home before I need to get my family out the door.
