I found the workroom through the class pass app. I was hooked after my first class with Michelle! I love the energy the instructors and other students bring during class. It’s a fun time while also getting a good workout in!

I’ve branched out and tried other classes and the instructors are amazing! I even tried my first pop up class with Ti, and I would love for her to come back!!!!

I’ve been at the workroom for a few years now. I’ve taken a range of their classes from heels, hip hop, pleasers, kpop, and general choreography classes. It is very fun and their instructors are very well informed on technique and foundations to help you stay safe, execute the movement, and feel confident while doing the movement as well. My favorite part is when they tell us to dress us prior to the workshop (can be viewed on their instagram stories, studio or instructor page) because it does help you envision the mood and style of dancing you are participating in.

Recording at the end of the workshop is not a requirement and only a suggestion. But it’s really cool to see your improvement that you get to download from their Google folder and keep for yourself.

I recently completed one of their mentorship’s where you join their team for x amount of weeks with a goal to perform at the end. It has been really insightful and memorable experience to meet people who are interested and excited to be there like you are. And the instructors are considerate and careful in their wording to give you constructive feedback if you wish to develop your skills. I did my mentorship with Michelle for Kpop. But I can see the same for others across other mentorships.

I would recommend workroom for people who are looking to find a dance community that is positive and supportive in addition to learning technique and foundations.

In regards to the pricing? I do the class pack of $190/three months which gives me about 10 classes to use. I always use it before it gets to the second half of the month but it allows me the flexibility to use all 10 passes within three months. But it is still cheaper than paying $20+tax for a single class every time. They also have punch cards where your 10th class is free even a class pack. It still counts! Either way, I think every penny is worth it for the experience I’ve had thus far.

The Workroom is a fun dance studio offering mostly hip hop styles, heels, and fitness classes. It’s easy to register, as you just download an app and sign up yourself. My only complaint is that they’ve introduced memberships, which were a little confusing to understand how you many class credits you get if you join mid-month. They also increased their drop-in price and don’t have a new member trial class offer. This seems a little limiting for new people who just want to see if they like the studio.

On the positive side, the people in class tend to be really friendly! The few instructors whose classes I’ve attended have been very informative and encouraging. I have been able to attend a few of Karen’s regular Thursday classes, and she is a phenomenal instructor who brings the heat 🔥.

Their pop-up series is also fun because they bring in new choreographers pretty regularly. Derek’s series in April is a great experience because he brings a much more masculine style to the studio.

I think this studios is also great for no-low experience dancers because the beg/int classes are filled with very positive people and patient instructors.

I regularly take classes on Fridays at The Workroom, and I love the experience. The studio itself is spacious, clean, and has an open, welcoming atmosphere. Every time I walk in, I’m often greeted by Wish, who is incredibly kind and supportive of both newcomers and regulars alike.

I’m also very pleased with the variety of classes and the amazing instructors. The friendships I’ve built here and the sense of community make this place truly special. I highly recommend it!

The Workroom provides such an amazing and safe space for dancers, whether you are brand new to dancing or a long time dancer. The Workroom offers a multitude of dance styles, classes, and schedules. Huge fan of Ashley’s and Nancy’s beginner hip hop classes and Michelle’s Ladies Night! Heels by Ashley and Alexis are always full of fun and supportive classmates. Dancing can be intimidating but not here; the staff are so welcoming, supportive, and it’s incredibly easy to make new friends here! Thank you for creating such an amazing outlet for the community!

I absolutely love taking classes at The Workroom! The variety of styles of dance taught at different levels (beginner/intermediate/advance) allows for any kind of growth at your own pace! The community of friends you gain from taking regular classes is an added bonus! Take this as a sign to try out a class!

The Workroom is an incredibly supportive and uplifting environment to take class and learn new dance styles. The space is beautiful, wide and open with no support beams blocking your view. The app is slick for booking class and I love the built-in class community feature. Love being able to support a fellow woman owned business and take class from such a wide variety of instructors. Highly recommend checking this place out!

The Workroom provides quality classes and caters to a wide variety of dance styles. The instructors are extremely welcoming and inclusive, and it really feels like a community space! In particular, I really like how videos are filmed after every class. It’s a great way to monitor my own progress. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

I have never formally trained as a dancer before. I was so nervous starting with heels classes and the first class changed everything - Ashley is such an approachable, knowledgeable, and empowering instructor! The people here lift each other up and we work on getting better together. Slowly working on expanding my dance style training. Best part of my week.

This place has a welcoming environment and the instructors are very encouraging. I have been going to Peter and Cody's Tuesday workshop and they teach their choreography well. I have become a lot more confident with my dancing through this community and I will check out other classes here!!

I’ve been going here since the opening and have significantly seen growth in myself as a dancer. The studio’s instructors do a great job of challenging you, in various ways for a really good price. Performing for your new friends and evolving with that weekly instructor you dance with all make the experience worth while. The filming is also great for tracking progress and really nice that it’s free! 10/10 would recommend!

Took a class with Cody and Peter and loved it! It can be a little tricky to pick up their choreo but both instructors are clear and regularly ask if you need any clarification. Their classes prioritize groove over precision which takes a little bit of pressure off. The only thing is that the space is pretty small and can feel a little monkey-in-the-zoo because the windows see right through to the parking lot. It's hardly noticable in the evening though. Overall, I can definitely recommend this studio and will absolutely be coming back!

It's a good space that is easy to get to and has a free parking lot. The instructors are great and supportive. My favorite thing about the studio is really the community there. I was really hesitant about taking dance classes because I was nervous about my dance history, skill level, and just fitting in, but everyone is super supportive and open. It's a really inclusive space and there's a lot of diversity of backgrounds, ethnicity, dance experience, skill level, body shapes, ages, etc in students and teachers. I know the studio is relatively new so my hope is to see more class offering and different styles in the future. Most of the classes are combo/choreo focused so I would love to see more technique/foundational skill classes too.

Fun place to dance! Floor is decent size and instructors are great! Always lots of knowledge to gain. The only thing I don't necessarily care for is having to pay on an app. Seem to have trouble sometimes and transaction fees seem to add a lot. I feel like it possibly hinders your customer base for people who may not be able to get or use apps. 🙂

The space is nice, the locker area is a little tight when people are taking a break. The speaker is set on one side only and that could be sensitive/loud to those on the side. The mirrors are okay. Paying at the door was easy to do, I did Venmo (I had trouble using the Workroom App - seems to have problems with Androids?). The front desk and restrooms are across the room. Free parking in the parking lot.
