Needed to find a way to de-stress from work and this definitely did the trick! Always look forward to coming! Love that Herb remembered my name after the first class I had with him- little things like that go a long way to make you feel special. Was nervous since my first time trying yoga and although I can’t do everything yet, I love that they have modifications and don’t judge. Now I have incentive to go back so that I can get there! Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

What a welcoming place to practice yoga. All the instructors and owners have been so kind, what a personable place to workout/relax. The prices are beyond reasonable. I’m so happy I have found my new yogi home!

Love doing hot yoga at Yoga Pioneers! The staff is great, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming (even for those who are noobs to yoga in general). I wish I had time to go more frequently.

I've been here maybe 5-6 times, and I think I've had almost every instructor. They are all wonderful, attentive, helpful, and very encouraging to newcomers like myself. Try it out, you won't regret it. I feel a thousand times better, more relaxed, and more focused after a session.

To be honest, I wasn't really interested in doing yoga. I'm a runner at heart, but I decided to try yoga because of the insistence of my PT doctor after my hip started giving me trouble. I'm so glad that I tried Yoga Pioneers! They made me feel welcome right away and even though I was new and clumsy my first class I never felt called out when the instructor would come over to help. I've taken 4 classes so far with a different instructor each time and they've all been great. They encourage you to only do what you feel comfortable doing, so it can be as challenging or as easy of a workout as you'd like it to be. They have classes at various times during the day/week which works well with my highly inconsistent schedule. I haven't done a ton of research but I can't say that for the other yoga studios I've looked into. I finally understand the appeal of yoga and plan on continuing to attend classes at Yoga Pioneers even after my hip issue is better.

This is the best yoga studio I have ever been to. Clean, friendly and truly a place of zen.

Thank you for creating a warm and welcoming space for a weary, and sometime way-ward, traveler like me. I so enjoyed attending your classes while I worked for extended periods in the Twin Cities. I appreciate your kind encouragement of my practice and personal growth, thoughtful reflections, welcoming demeanor and genuine expression of humanity. As I begin 2015, I count my experiences at your studio among my many blessings. I will join you when I am back in the area. Namaste.

For the last two Wednesdays I have enjoyed T'ai Chi with the instructor Kim. She is very peaceful and welcoming. My girlfriend had never done T'ai Chi before and I had only done it once in an Energy Medicine class I took at MCTC a few years back. The studio is very spacious and has the perfect temperature during winter months (since the studio also holds hot yoga classes). Kim goes at the speed of her students and is open to any questions along the way. I would definitely recommend the T'ai Chi class if you are looking to relax through conscious movement or want to try something new. My girlfriend is excited for her next class of hot yoga at this studio. We would greatly recommend this studio!

I tried several Yoga Studios when I went looking for a place to start. Yoga Pioneers won my heart and my money. The staff is wonderful, the other students are great, and everyone is friendly. I have a fake hip and arthritis in several other joints from playing sports and they knew how to work with me right from the start. If you enjoy great Hot Yoga AND not overspending... Give them a try!
