Very disappointed in my experience with this company. One of the instructors for reformer Pilates was wonderful, Tori. The other one, not so much. Then without much warning, they closed the Mat Pilates portion of the company. The mat Pilates instructor, Angela is wonderful, and the only reason I kept coming. Fortunately, she has opened a new Pilates studio and all of her clients have transferred to that studio.

Wonderful studio! Excellent instructor and warm environment. They kindly let me join classes last minute while visiting Mayo and became much needed “me time” while on a hospital routine with a friend. I only wished I lived closer! Tori is a gem.

The Sunday beginner yoga class is a great way to start the week! Christa and Emma are both very knowledgeable. They are both good at offering modifications to the poses if you need them. It is a very inviting and relaxing atmosphere. I feel less tension in my back and shoulders after yoga. 🧘♀️ I definitely recommend trying it out if you are thinking about it! There are no expensive membership fees. Only $15 a class and you can book the classes easily on the app.

I highly recommend Uptown Pilates & Yoga! I had the pleasure of taking an intro into Pilates class led by the owner, Connie, who is kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about all things Pilates related. I also attended four yoga classes led by 3 talented teachers Emma, Christa, and Sunny. They each created a comfortable and relaxing environment, led well thought out classes with great cues and modifications for beginners to the well experienced yogi. Sign up for a class today! Great results. At 66 yo I was having issues bending over to put on socks and tie my shoes. After 8 weeks (1 per/wk) I have regained huge flexibility and feeling much better about getting older. My recent physical came back with greatly improved reports. Uptown Pilates is stuck with me for many years to come.

My husband had to have surgery at the Mayo. During a two week period, I took numerous class at Uptown Pilates. I found the classes to be excellent.
The studio is very clean, leading edge equipment and knowledgeable instructors. Uptown Pilates made a stressful personal situation much more manageable. I highly recommend them.

I love this new Pilates studio! I have been taking Pilates reformer classes for the last 4years with Connie and it’s the best part of my week! She’s a great instructor that knows how to push you but also be mindful of your body’s limitations. This new studio is in a great location and it doesn’t require a membership. And for all of us health care workers who don’t have consistent schedules, they offer day and evening classes that you can sign up for week to week! Highly recommend trying a class or 2.
