I came in as a beginner climber with little understanding and Ben was very helpful and patient answering my questions. I would definitely go back a second time.

Great place!!! Staff are wonderful, and super kind!!! Equipment is kinda out of date but still works perfectly fine. You kinda need to know a little bit about climbing to have a great time here, but if you are a beginner the staff is always open for questions. This is a great place to visit if you are visiting Duluth, and if you live here team is a awesome place and environment for your kids!!! I highly recommend πŸ˜πŸ™ƒπŸ˜ƒ

Vertical Endeavors is an awesome place to climb with a great setup for all experience levels. They offer both belay and auto belay options, plus a free climb area upstairs that’s fun to explore. It’s nice that you can bring your own harness, and they offer punch cards if you plan to come often. I do wish there were more climbing walls specifically for kids, but overall, we really enjoy it. The only odd part is the locationβ€”since it’s inside a building with an arcade, it can feel a little strange walking in when the arcade is closed but climbing is open. Still, it’s a great place to get active and have fun!

The auto belays are a bit gimmicky, but the bouldering is legit.

So why is your tension board not a tension board and a "stokt wall" instead?

This climbing gym could have potential, I was visiting from out of town and was treated poorly and felt excluded by the employees. When we wanted to learn things they wouldn’t teach us how to do it even when we asked as well, they rushed through all of the orientation and proceeded to go and hang out with others when we still wanted to ask some questions. The other climbers were very nice people so that was one benefit. So I would not return to this facility.

It's is not listed anywhere on the website or waivers that Legal Guardians must be there for any minors even if trusted adults are present, the waivers are all ready done, and they've climbed before. Waited for 45 minutes to be told this. Ruined the activity planned for the day.

We went to Team Try It Night tonight. It was my son and daughter's first time climbing and everyone there was so encouraging and positive! I forget all of their names but Emmy was very informative. The man that runs club on Mondays was great, too! I wish I got the name of the man in the stocking cap because he is the one that kept encouraging my daughter to climb higher and seemed to say exactly what she needed to hear. Thank you so much everyone! You were all amazing.

This place is a money pit, that doesn't update equipment but will gladly accept your money. I'm sure it's fine for tourists, but if you consider yourself part of the climbing community I would avoid this place. To top rope they require a "test" where they condescendingly judge you not knowing how to use their outdated garbage equipment. They do not assist or help at all and just fail you. The bouldering is an extremely short wall with rubber chips as the landing spot (no padding).

Do not go here if you enjoy climbing or would like to learn this fun sport. The staff is incredibly rude and will make you feel worthless.

Terrible service - waited 40 minutes before we even got our rental gear. Then while climbing, the worker just sat in the back office and didn’t come out once. We needed some tape and had to walk into the back to get assistance at all after waiting for her for a while. I wouldn’t go again and would recommend going elsewhere.

Seems like a great place for family fun indoors. Definitely an odd feeling climbing inside an arcade. Bouldering area is small. Bouldering routes seemed sandbaggy and will likely be a challenging climb for true V0-V2 climbers.

WORD OF WARNING- The climbing is fine for a small gym inside of an arcade. My word of warning is for people who prefer being on belay with a person rather than using auto belay devices. Make sure you are prepared to pass a belay test using a tubular belay device. They will not test you on a Grigri. I would also call ahead and ask them specifically what they are looking for you to do to pass the test, because what is acceptable and even taught at other gyms is not accepted there.

This place is amazing! First let me start by saying they got me a good discount for being a veteran and I really appreciate that. I got a membership at vertical endevers because I was looking to get into shape but wasn't looking for a gym membership lifting boring weights. This place is everything I hoped it would be, lots of walls to climb from beginner to expert, a great workout, above and beyond staff who let me use their rental equiptment free of charge until I could figure out what equipment I was going to buy for myself. Sean even took the time to help me learn some of the simple things I was struggling with when it came to belaying. Again absolutely worth checking out, weather your looking to get in shape like me, or just want fun for the family for a day, you would be missing out to not give it a try!

A small rock climbing gym but it has everything you need for a workout when you can't get outside. The bouldering here can kick your butt. For the first time climber there are plenty of options and even a lighthouse to climb
