Vinna has been super helpful in helping me manage around arthritis and, more recently, helping me rehab from hip replacement surgery. I really see a difference at home, where I can now easily get up off a low stool, climb up and down a step ladder, jump around (literally) with the neighbor kids and jog. The trainers are highly skilled and super responsive to my bodyβs aches, pains and needs. Exercise routines are creative and effective. The vibe is calm and un-hurried. I highly recommend this gym for anyone who needs to get stronger and better functioning. I like the small group format too. I get enough attention coaching without the pressure of always being stared at or coached.

I've been going for about a year and have found a lot of success and progress at Vinna Fitness - being hypermobile and having some mobility/pain issues as a middle aged person I really wanted someone who understood the issues and limitations I was facing and then help me grow to be stronger and more stable in my joints. Lani really delivers and understands how to help me advance my goals, and Tim has great tweaks and attention to detail for form and adjustments! Amazing place! Cannot say enough good things about Vinna. I have been working with them for 5 months now and they have really helped transform me and my body. When I started with them I couldn't touch the floor, do a push up and had chronic pain with sleep issues. Working with Lani, Tim, Cole & Katie has been great, and all of my previous issues have vastly improved. They designed programs that challenge me but in a good way. The atmosphere is very chill and very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone but especially those who need help starting, Vinna will help you achieve your goals!

I wish I could take this studio back to NYC with me. The trainers are amazing, I worked with Lani and Cole. I was looking for a studio while in Minneapolis that could help me increase my strength safety, Iβm hyper mobile and watched too many of my friends limp out of a two week cross fit plan. I wanted to build the foundation of strength for the long term and not only did they personalize a great plan for me, give me incredible guidance, but it was also a great relaxing environment (no pretension or faux behaviors), just people getting strong and increasing their mobility to live life without pain and on their own terms.

I cannot say enough about the knowledgeable and welcoming staff at Vinna. They cater every workout, every time to meet you where you are - body and mind. The personalized (clip board) exercises they create for you corrects and creates strength to move through your life. The gym is super clean with air exchangers and cleaning after each use. I'm 4 months into my time with Vinna Fitness and have had such a positive experience. Great variety of exercises, so I never get bored. Low-key, welcoming space. This is my first time doing semi-private training and I really like it - just enough attention to notice need for adjustments in order to prevent injury without the uncomfortable intensity that can happen with private training sessions. Two months in I adopted a 70lb puppy and injured my neck and shoulder. Cole was able to quickly adjust my program so I didn't exasperate the issue, while continuing to strengthen it.

Iβve had very painful lower back issues for years. After exhausting many treatment options I was close to taking the dreaded surgery step. A friend recommended trying Vinna first. And thank the lord above! Within a month or so of targeted exercises I was back on track. 6 years and counting without single back issue, and Iβm still a 2x / week client.

When I started working out at Vinna my lower back and my knees were a mess. I was very tight and in quite a bit of pain. Within just six weeks, both are feeling great again! I was pleased with the assestments which helped create a plan for my specific needs and requests. I was in need of resuming exercising post pandemic and I was nervous about how my body would react with such a long delay. Lani was patient with me and restored my interest. I sought personal training to learn to strength train outside a typical gym. I had zero confidence in my ability to get an effective work out at a big box gym with no guidance. After thoroughly researching all options in the area I decided on Vinna. Having been at Vinna for 6 months, I know it was the right decision. Everyone at Vinna is super welcoming, both the staff and fellow gym-goers. Vinna has become my foundation for maintaining an active lifestyle in my 40s.
Vinna was recommended to me by my physical therapist after treatment of my latest hockey injury. My goals were to prevent future injury and be able to continue doing activities I enjoy. Going in, I already knew of some mobility issues that were causing pain, but Vinnaβs initial assessment identified a few weaknesses that I wasnβt aware of. After just two months of training, Iβve already seen (and felt) noticeable improvements, both in and out of the gym.
I like the individually-tailored workouts, which balance mobility, strength, and conditioning, based on my needs and objectives. The semi-private training model provides one-on-one guidance whenever I need it, but also gives me the opportunity to work independently at my own pace. The variety of small-group classes are a great option to add more of whatever you want on a week-by-week basis.
Working with Lani and Cole has been great! Besides being well-educated and certified, they are welcoming, kind, personable, and patient.
Iβve found Vinna to be well run and a pleasant place to spend time. The gym is kept immaculately clean and organized. The app and on-line portal make scheduling a breeze (you can have your Vinna appointments automatically synced to your phoneβs calendar). Parking is right by the door.
I highly recommend Vinna if you want to improve the way you feel when you move.

I was incredibly active in my 20s, but the 30s brought some health issues and 3 kids and my time to be active shrunk considerably. I feel better than I have in years. I recently found this wonderful place of refuge, Vinna Fitness. Coming off the pandemic, especially as an educator, my mental and physical health wasn't where I wanted it to be. When I looked in the mirror, I found I didn't recognize myself physically or mentally, and I knew I needed a change, but wasn't sure how to find the time or space to work on myself. After some research, I found Vinna Fitness. As a former football player who spent a lot of time in the gym, it has been so refreshing to find a place to rehabilitate my athletic injuries, as well as strengthen my body and mind as well.
Fast forward to today, after finding this facility and working with Lani. Through her personalized approach, Lani has an incredible skill of listening in order to design a program for me that has truly helped me move forward to the person I want to be, both physically and mentally.
Through sitting down and listening to my needs and goals, Lani shifted my thinking and moved me away from a pounding of weights to a personalized workout that has helped me strengthen my core and key areas of my body. Not only do I feel better physically, my social and emotional well-being has improved significantly. Through her help, I have come to realize that my needs at 50 are much different than they were as a 20 year old athlete. Lani has taken the time not only to rehabilitate old athletic injuries, but also strengthen my body and mind to help move me forward into the next chapter of who I want to be both physically and mentally.
I can't thank Lani enough for giving me a place to go to strengthen my entire well-being. I highly encourage people to seek out this facility to meet your own physical and mental goals and needs.

My wife and I started going to Vinna Fitness just over 3 years ago. Since then we both have made it an integral part of our physical fitness routine.
Joining Vinna fitness has greatly improved my health. Not only have I built up my strength and endurance, but I have improved my flexibility and range of motion. I feel better! At Vinna, much concentration is given to doing the exercises and movements correctly so that you help your body not hurt it. The staff is super knowledgeable and semi-private workout sessions are customized to the individual client. Classes are offered throughout the week that supplement and reinforce the individual programs and they are a ton of fun. The other folks that exercise there are a pleasure!

I started at VINNA almost a year ago to address a specific physical problem. I am not a gym person and because I'm in my 60s, I really didn't think I would feel comfortable. To my surprise, I am loving working with excellent trainers who brought me to the point of not only overcoming the issue that brought me there, but also regaining strength, balance and flexibility that I had conceded to aging. I feel encouraged and safe. You don't need to be athletic to be your physical best!!! It is a wonderful experience!

As an aging athlete still competing at the top of my game is important to me, and thanks to the Functional Movement System approach, my body has never felt better and I am able to skate ski just as fast and far as I could 10 years ago.

After 1year + at Vinna Fitness I am amazed at the changing in my strength level that I have achieved. In the past, going to the gym meant getting on equipment where I copied what I saw others do, or tried to remember what I did years ago, climbing on and pushing myself till I died or got bored, which ever came first. The one-on-one attention with the trainers at Vinna is not only realistic for my age and body type, but they work with me to know when and how to change things up so that Iβm working all the different muscle groups equally, as well as challenging myself in increments that are moving me forward. I love that they emphasize being able to move well at any age, being strong in real life situations such as carrying luggage or being prepared to lift up grandkids. The Vinna atmosphere is so welcoming that everyone there seems like family and we cheer each other on, whether you just took your first rowing class or are training for the Tour de France. When I first started going to Vinna Fitness it was approximately 2 years post ankle surgery. I was unable to balance on one leg and wanted to improve my stability. The functional movement program I follow at Vinna not only has allowed me to balance well, but it keeps me Fit to Live. I'm able to pick up my 70 pound dog when needed without injuring myself. I'm able to comfortably garden and shovel snow and more importantly, play tennis! I want to keep being able to move my body for many years and Vinna helps me accomplish this. The program is customized for me personally and changes about every two months or so. I highly recommend Vinna Fitness.

I recently retired and I like the tailoerd program based on my ability and needs. The trainers have a great balance of helping me along to make sure I do the exercises correctly and helping the others there too. It is not "one on one personal training" but the benefits are the same as if it is. The excersises are for me and are changed and evolve periodically which keeps it interesting and is progressive. The size of the facility and staff are perfect for me. It is not a big Lifetime or YMCA. I find myself leaving each session at Vinna Fitness in a little better place physically and mentally.
