About the Club

We are a small locally owned fitness studio. We use functional fitness methods to build strength and cardiovascular fitness. Workouts include weight lifting, high intensity interval training, and balance and agility exercises to help you get stronger and more fit. We offer group classes and private and small group training. Nutrition counseling is also available.

Highly recommend! I’ve been going to Vital Fitness for personal training sessions from Robyn for 6 months now. Robyn is so knowledgeable and knows exactly what exercises would be best for me. I always look forward to each session and feel amazing after they’re done! I’ve worked with Kristin a couple times and she is great too.

Abby treated me in a very friendly and professional manner. I was impressed with the scan tech used to show posture and possibly weak spots to work on. I have various health problems and she listened to everything asking questions as needed to clarify my issues. I feel better after a stretch with her.

I love this place. Robin, the owner is a wonderful coach. The space is clean and all the equipment is NEW. Playlists are great. Sometimes the workouts are really hard, but you’re going to come out on the other side feeling stronger. Free parking and the rates are fair for the small group fitness environment. I highly recommend this gym if you are looking for functional fitness for any age and skill level.

Vital Fitness is a great place for people who want to get a comprehensive workout that accommodates your unique strengths, growth opportunities and fitness goals. I have done individual training with Robyn and taken a few classes. She is incredibly knowledgeable and is adept at helping me work through mental blocks get in my way. I’ve finally found my “forever gym”.
I highly recommend Vital Fitness. Robyn is amazing in so many ways. She provides the most effective combo of cardio and strength workouts. She also instructs on proper form for safety, which is much appreciated. The space is super nice, clean and well maintained.
The classes and members are motivating, upbeat and fun. I’m so happy to have found this gem in St. Louis Park.

Robyn is a supportive trainer who provides excellent guidance. She pushes everyone to do their best but is also welcoming and open to meeting people where they are at with their fitness. Vital Fitness is a secret gem amongst local gyms. Robyn meets each individual where they are and creates an approach that is equally achievable and challenging. I recommend VF to anyone looking for strength training and especially for women of any age to take control of their fitness journey.

Even though these are group classes, I feel like I am getting my own personal trainer. Robyn makes sure you are doing all your moves correctly so you don't hurt yourself but also maximize your workout. It doesn't matter what shape, size, or level of workout, you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in the doors. I highly recommend this gym.

While I could not have described it, Vital Fitness is exactly the gym I've been searching for.

First, Robyn is incredible. She's an experienced fitness professional, a creative strength training expert and a stickler about form. She misses nothing! Each class workout is different and adaptable to the person. I focus on my own goals at my own pace while working out with others. I find it challenging, energizing and fun.

The space is flexible and accommodates multiple stations for lifting, cardio and body weight exercises. Clean, bright and well organized.

Add Robyn's music to the mix and BOOM!! Those good vibes keep me focused and moving, even through the toughest workouts.

Great location and easy, ample parking - every time. So psyched about discovering Vital Fitness. It does not disappoint - check it out!

Robin’s classes are fantastic. Her instruction style feels like you’re working with a personal trainer: she is casual and approachable while still maintaining a no-nonsense atmosphere. She’s clearly extremely knowledgeable and doesn’t hesitate to give adjustments to tailor the intensity to your experience level and individual goals. The music is upbeat without being overwhelming, the class structure offers constant variety without overcomplicating the basics, & the social dynamic of the class allows feels very welcoming and judgement-free. Robin is passionate about what she does and as a weight lifting beginner, I’ve learned a ton in just a handful of sessions! Vital Fitness takes a long-term approach to health that is accessible to all & has piqued my interest in fitness in a way I haven’t experienced before. Robins class was amazing! Perfect mix of work and play. She kept us on track & gave each individual the encouragement and attention they needed to push harder. Intimate studio space with high end equipment and very clean. One session with Robin and you can tell how much experience and passion she has. I've been going to classes with Robyn for a few weeks now. They are challenging, productive, and really awesome. I was going to say fun (which they are) but not every moment is fun when she's kicking your butt ☺

Robyn is knowledgeable and wants you to be successful. She helps with form and fits the workouts to your needs.

I always leave these classes tired, sweaty, and feeling so amazing! Such a good all-around workout with cardio, lifting, and stability work.

I have been doing semi-private/small group training with Robyn for 6 months, and am a huge fan. I knew weight bearing exercise and lifting would be good for me but didn’t know how to get started. Robyn has been a great fit, teaching me various new skills, with rigorous focus on form to prevent injuries. My 18 year old daughter started going to sessions with me a few months ago. She is more of a natural and has needed less instruction than me. Like me, she loves the sessions. They are a nice mix of weight, cardio and agility work. Both of us are getting stronger and see improvements in our fitness. Punch line: Robyn meets you where you are, teaches you what you need to know, and encourages you forward from there.

I've been working out with Robyn for at least 2 years. I've done private, semiprivate and class workouts with her. She finally has her own gym and it is bright and cheerful (just like Robyn)! She manages different levels of skills when in mixed groups(ages and skills widely varied). She pushes me to continue to work on balance, strength, cardio and living healthy!
