Our daughter Mary (14) has been with World Taekwondo Academy in STMA for 3 years, and it has been such a positive experience! She’s naturally quiet and reserved, but the welcoming atmosphere of the dojang—and the friendly students and staff—made her feel instantly at home. It truly feels like family now.

Master Ross is absolutely incredible at what she does. She connects with her students, young and old, in such a genuine way. She’s firm but kind, patient yet knows exactly when to challenge her students to reach the next level. Because of her, Mary has grown so much in confidence, skill, and leadership.

We can’t say enough good things about Master Ross and this school. We highly recommend it to anyone considering martial arts!

Our son has been taking and advancing in his class and skill level for several years. He has started as a beginners belt and now is testing for his probationary black belt. Taekwondo has really taught my son more than just his forms, but has taught him perseverance, and confidence. Master Ross really cares about her students. Her patience and dedication shine through.

We have struggled getting our 11 year old involved in an activity that will keep him active and also help him build up his confidence and form connections with others. We have finally found the perfect place! The World Taekwondo Academy in St Michael-Albertville is exactly what we were looking for. This place is great! The leadership team is knowledgeable, kind, helpful and encouraging. They bring out the best in their students physically, build up their confidence, and encourage discipline and good character. They have built a wonderful community and we are so grateful to have found them and become a part of it.
