Good luck trying to cancel your account here. I started In sept 2021, canceled in Dec 2021. You have to email a 3rd party, you can't just call experience to cancel, but they are all too happy to sign you up. You make your last payment, you think it is a done deal after a rep calls you from the email you sent to cancel, but no. 3 months later your getting emails that you owe 200$ in missed payments. I knew gyms were scams going in, but this one is huge. Still getting emails about being late for payments.

I have never belonged to a gym where staff are allowed to use private contact data to attempt to date customers. The Blaine staff AND Blaine management have contacted some of my friends and family via text and calls to verify if they are single females. *Names now removed from review.

Xperience Fitness, this is how you run a professional business?
Personal trainers continue use their personal cell phones to contact customers and also try to have what may be considered inappropriate conversations with females.

My significate other took screenshots and canceled her membership and I will be doing the same. I have attempted to contact the so called corporate office which simply rings a locate fitness center

Sunday morning 2/13/22, sitting here at 6:20 am and the store is NOT OPEN and they are suppose to be open at 6 am!!! And I know we are not the only ones that have encountered this in the past either! This is the second time in a month span this has happened. Why is no one there!!! We pay membership fees for a reason, to use the facilities. As a long-time member, I was extremely disappointed to hear the news that they are considering cutting water classes. These classes are were main reason for joining the gym in the first place and are what I think differentiates Xperience from other workout facilities in the area. Water classes work for people of all body types and allow those who can't participate in floor classes or perhaps have restrictions to still get a workout safely and effectively. There is a consistent following of people who have worked out together in the pool for a long time who have gotten healthier, lost weight and built the relationships the gym promotes when trying to draw members in. IF decisions are made based on attendance numbers, the system for checking in to classes is often not working yet people still attend. It is my hope the gym will talk to their instructors for more accurate attendance numbers and to reconsider any possible cuts in this area.

I would give 5 stars because the facility is awesome and I love the club as a whole. However, you are still charging your members full price for reduced hours of operations on all clubs. There have been a total of 14 hours of open clubs hours reduced on a weekly basis since the lockdowns. These hours have not been changed back to their original time, which is the reason I joined in the first place (I am a late night attendee), and with hours being reduced it seems unfair that I am still being charged the same fees as before. Lastly, the gym has closed early at least 2 times that I have tried to attend due to low staffing, I get this happens but it should not affect club hours. Once again, my point is that I am still paying the agreed amount of monthly dues on my end and not receiving that back on the part of the Xperience Fitness company.

EDIT: The GM Kate called me to explain the situation with the hours and I was very happy with her customer service and promptness of the response.

EDIT 2: Every issue resolved, very happy with the way things are running now. 5/5 for sure!

So, I went because of the hammer strength machines; I signed because of my girl "Z" who signed me up, the awesome special -0 (ZERO) down and then the package you choose. I can ONLY say VERY good things things about this facility 💯.

I like it, it has all the equipment I need and the environment is very suitable for me. Everyone working hard encouraged me to work hard as well.

The only downside is that the gym gets very busy and sometimes I need to wait for a while to use it and by then, I lost my pump already.

If you don't mind the gym being busy then it's good for you.

I was recommended to this gym by a friend. I called, made an appointment, and actually fell in love with the facility - having said that…the customer service from Mike was terrible. Due to my current circumstances, the best membership for me would have been the 15$ a month one. Mike not only was insistent on getting me the 60$ membership, but also told me that I would never reach my goals with the membership I wanted. I explained I didn’t have a specific goal, but to go to the gym even if my day only allowed for 15 mins. He proceeded to tell me that I would never reach my goals (once again) and that maybe right now, with my lifestyle, XPerience, or any other gym for that matter, wouldn’t work for me. I have seen too many times now that someone is too lazy, male or female to go use their designated locker room, so the individual uses the "family locker room".... isn't this for, families?? My husband come there almost every morning and like I said, a male or female too lazy to go to their designated locker room when they are alone. Spacious gym compared to the other Xperience Gyms I have gone to. Very lovely and nice staff. Cleanliness is pretty great. The locker rooms are always clean to me at least, bathrooms are taken care of most of the time, and I never feel unsanitary. I like the set up of equipment here as well. The gym is nice, staff is nice, and it's a good place to workout. My only complaint is that, in my opinion, you get a lot of people who spill over from Planet Fitness for the cheap rates but they feel better because they're paying the same rate but don't have the stigma of being a Planet Fitness member. As a result, you get a lot of members who have poor etiquette. For example, using an adjustable bench as a flat bench. I'd like to do incline press but I can't because Pencil Arms McGillicuddy wants to use it for poor formed rows. Or even just standing by the benches, in the way, so other people can't use them. Like, I said, 5 star gym. 1 star clientele.

I wrote a review a few weeks back regarding the cleanliness of this gym and noticed my review was gone? Not sure what happened to it. Lets just say a picture is worth a thousand words. Take a look at this shower curtain from the woman's locker room... Shower curtains are CHEAP and easily replicable. The morning staff often sits on their phone at the front desk rather than replacing paper towel rolls or cleaning the gym. The turf is filthy, according to my boyfriend some showers in the men's room have gnats flying around in them. Overall, the gym is just not clean.

This has been an absolute nightmare!!!!! Wasted two hours if my day today. My membership was supposed to be cancelled and the location I used to go to got closed about a year ago and they keep charging me for monthly membership fee! Their financial team is a NIGHTMARE. I canceled my membership in MAY and am still getting charged. I called several different numbers and was redirected to their financial team "ABC financial" which is an outsourced finance management company. I really enjoy this gym its really nice, the equipment is up to date and the environment is always clean. However i intended to switch to this gym from PF in order to use the pool, however the pool is tiny and also in plain view of the rest of the gym due to the huge glass windows. It makes it extremely uncomfortable to even want to go in there because i feel like ill be on display. Ive noticed their other rooms for classes are like this as well. I understand its to open up the gym more but its just super awkward. Wish the windows were at least tinted or something to make it less weird. Also theyre not very clear on charges, when i signed up again after covid i signed up during the $1 only deal and three days later i was charged $82 and i have no idea what for. I contacted the financial office but i have to wait 5-7 business days to hear back which seems excessively long. My agreement states my first charge for the membership wasnt until two weeks later, and the annual fee is only $53 and isnt until the end of august. So I have absolutely no idea where the $82 charge came from and no explanation either.
Be mindful if you decided to sign up during their ‘deals’ pretty sure i paid more this time than i did when i signed up before covid shut everything down.

Compared to other fitness centers I’ve joined Xperience offers everything you’ve looked for and wanted from a fitness center. Up to date equipment. Very clean facility which is important. Unfortunately some of the classes they offer are separate from the membership but beat other competitors prices. The only thing that is high prized is having a personal trainer but they are their for you to ask questions when need be. Great bunch of folks at the Northtown center. Very nice gym. Would be nice if they closed at midnight every night instead of Mon-Thurs. The other nearby gym is 24 hrs, so thats gotta hurt the bottom line a bit.
