Have to jump through excessive hoops to cancel. I went to the gym in person to cancel, but they told me I needed to call customer care to cancel. I called the number they gave me, only to be told that I have to email my cancellation in writing to their customer care team. Who knows if I’ll get a response. Why is it that I cannot cancel in person? How is that not more legitimate than sending an email?

I encourage anybody also having issues canceling to submit a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. It should not be harder to cancel a gym membership than to cancel subscriptions to other things like internet, utilities, or streaming services. Xperience has made it more challenging than it should be to cancel their services, most likely in hopes that people will just abandon trying to cancel altogether.

EDITED TO ADD: I never got a response to my email request to cancel (and I’m writing this months later). I called customer care back and demanded a cancellation to my service, which she was able to do without issue. My husband also ended up canceling his subscription about a week later and they told him over the phone he couldn’t cancel and would have to send an email. This was a LIE. It explicitly says in our contract that we can cancel either in person, on the phone, or via email. We demanded that they cancel the contract via phone once we read them the clause in the contract. Only then did they agree to cancel. How they handle cancellations is absolutely a scam.

I truly appreciate the convenient location of the gym and have enjoyed being a member for over three years. However, I’ve noticed that membership fees continue to rise while the condition of many machines remains worn or broken. I would like to see more timely repairs and replacements to ensure members have access to well-maintained equipment. If these improvements are not addressed, I may need to consider other gym options that better reflect the value of their pricing.

I called to cancel my membership and they directed me to fill out a cancellation form online. I completed that form and it said pending cancellation, I was still charged my monthly dues a week later and when I called in a rep stated they were going to look into it and get back to me. I never heard anything back for a week and then I called in again and was told if I cancel within 7 business days of monthly dues I will still get charged regardless.

Within the Xperience app it still says I have no gym access but I was still charged for my monthly dues.

Spoke to Jack and he said others have filed grievances with their billing department with similar issues and was never offered a refund.

This gym is extremely unhelpful. I tried for nearly a month to cancel my membership because “their system was down”, and their billing company was no help either. If you ever want/need to cancel your membership don’t go here they make it nearly impossible. It shouldn’t take 4 weeks to cancel a membership. And they charged me for an additional month when I don’t even live there anymore.

Edit (8/30/25): This gym has gone very downhill, it takes ages for any equipment to be fixed, it’s always very dirty and they have horrible WiFi while being in a basement. Every time I come back to this gym it’s somehow worse, while at the same time more expensive. You’re better off going to Los Campeones instead!

Scammed me really bad in Wisconsin. Along with many others. Look up "Xperience fitness Waukesha" if you don't believe me. They signed me up, then closed 2 weeks later and signed me up for planet fitness against my will. Terrible company with no values. They also let all of their employees go the same day with 0 days notice. It was criminal. Beware

I’ve been coming here since they opened and it’s changed a lot. When I started it was too notch with cold therapy, red light therapy, decca scan machine. All of these are gone and the sauna hasn’t been working for going on 3 weeks now. Also toilet in bathroom has been out of order for weeks. Just not a good value considering so many thighs aren’t working.

I’ve written a review about this situation in the past and will again today. XP has been doing so well at opening on time this past year. Sometimes a little late, but can be forgiven. However, today was just unacceptable. Myself, along with other regulars, were waiting for XP to open up this morning. They’re supposed to open at 4am, but today, no one was there. I waited until 4:45 and could not wait any longer, so I left. This is really annoying. How does something like this even happen? There needs to be a contact number or someone for us to reach out to when the staff is not there to open up on time. Really sucks when you’ve carved out time out of your own schedule and the gym is not even open. We’re not talking about a little late, we’re talking about almost an hour late and they’re not even open yet. Do better please.

Used to go to this gym when it had a Bette price. Now it’s 50 dollars a month for one person. I tried getting a free pass to try it again after leaving 5 years ago. No calls or reaching out. I anticipate that it is likely as bad or worse than back then. Still bad customer service and uninterested workers. I’ll go to planet fitness instead.

I had a great experience with Xperience Roseville! Not only is the facility clean and well-equipped, but the staff is also incredibly helpful and understanding. Wanted to try the gym out so I went in to try the 7 day FREE guest pass which was advertised on their website. Upon arrival, I was informed by a “ salesman “ that those are not available. Instead you can sign up for $1 the first month and the regular price after that. Seems to to be very deceptive marketing to get people in the door and get card information which really doesn’t seem very professional for such a “ nice “ gym ( machines are falling apart ) . Borderline criminal organization. Would not recommend.

This location gets 2 stars only because I’ve learned when the down periods are making workouts flow best. Yet, it takes months for equipment to be fixed and it doesn’t appear management operated with urgency. This is the only location operating under the Xperience franchise now which means to a member all attn and effort will go into this gym to make it better and keep it up. Doesn’t seem like it’s the case. Cleanliness is needed hourly; frequently runs out of disinfectant and it’s not replaced just as quickly. The attendants attn and care are mixed as some are mentally present and some are just in the management section there. If you don’t need equipment and don’t need the locker room area, then this place is ok. But if you want your $60/mo membership to measure up completely then find another place to go. Think this place is on its last given all other recent reviews. I’ve been a member for over 2+ years I expect better.

Big gym with a lot of equipment. It’s pretty good if you go at non busy times. However equipment is often broken for long periods of time. The gym is unbearably crowded at certain times (they closed all locations except one). Closes at 8pm on weekends. Hard to find space to workout. Benches and squat racks always full. Also blasts rap music all the time to the point it’s hard to listen to your own music.

The last remaining XF & place your bets it will be closed once the lease is up. This place has really gone down hill since it originally opened, & that's a shame.
There isn't a time of day or night I've come that it isn't dirty of late. After they "fixed" the sauna it's a solid 40 degrees too cold. And the equipment takes forever to get repaired, if it does at all. Factor in the amount of reallyyy smart ppl that go here that will interrupt you the second before you start a set (you just gotta mess with them tbh lol), don't wipe down their sweaty equipment, or put away their weights when done & it's a real winner. Great culture fam.
Does it have a little bit of eveything for the price? Sure. Is it worth it to join if you aren't a existing member familiar with what it's become? Not even slightly. Most regulars are long gone now for a reason.

Stay away from this gym. Have been coming here for over 5 years and it continues to get worse each time. Floors, equipment, bathrooms, showers, lockers, and everything is covered in dust, dirt, grime, and god knows what else. 100% chance of being itchy after swimming and the water is never clear. Workers are too busy on their phones and can’t even do simple tasks like garbage and spray refill. This place should be a health code violation. High bets that the “manager” responds to this saying we will try our best to fix things!…..and still do nothing.

Equipment is getting old. Seats are tearing. The treadmills gets stuck if you put a faster speed. It can kill someone. And the equipment also makes squeaky noises when you use them. Planet fitness just got a bunch of new equipment across the street. Xperience will see itself crumble if they don’t update the facility equipment. Bathrooms need to be cleaned. I work out around 3x a week, plus I use the tanning. A couple things they could improve on. Cleaning. I added some pictures of the tanning beds. In number two tanning bed, took some pictures of where people stand. This tanning bed has looked the same since I got there. Nobody cleans the floor. 2nd thing, I was there yesterday and a father was there with kids. Now, I am not a big fan of rap, but if your going to play rap, you may not want to play rap that allows swear words when you have a father with two kids around the ages of 9 or 10. I have worked in customer service for years. If you want to destroy your business, this is one way to do it. Being in the military also for 24 years, it’s called getting up off the desk and clean. It’s about values and taking pride in all you do in life. People notice and if you feel you only need to get up from your desk when asked, you already lost the game. Just my 2 cents. I like this place to work out and don’t want to see it close. It’s just common sense. If you’re a regional manager, get motivated and walk around and lead employees. It’s the little things that make all the difference in keeping customers.

I changed my membership to include my son (at the Woodbury location, prior to them closing) the staff member assured me he canceled my single membership and opened the dual membership. Months later I realized I had been getting charged for both, I went into the club and talked to the same employee and he admitted that I had been charged for both ( for a total of over $400) and told me he fixed it and that I would receive a refund for the extra funds that were taken out. I asked him for documentation of this and he said “we don’t have anything like that” I took a screen shot of what he had. I waited a couple of months with no refund and then returned to the club and talked to the manager who told me that staff no longer works there. The manger looked into my membership and agreed I had been dually charged for months and told me he sent it into corporate and I should expect my refund. This was in early October not only have I not received a refund they have since closed the club giving members a few weeks notice!!

I rarely leave reviews, but this place and the overall Xperience management are absolutely awful. Always broken equipment, dirty, and next to no maintence done at the facility. They’ll also raise your membership constantly without notification, mine went from $10 to $45 over the past 5 years. You’re better off going literally anywhere else. There’s a reason they’ve had to close most of their locations.

There are two good things about this gym, I can always use the equipment I want when I come in the middle of the morning and the sauna is marvelous. But anyone that has stated it is clean is lying! I've been going here for over 5 years, it was clean at first and during COVID but for the last two years no one cleans expect to put in more paper towels, taking the trash out and filling the cleaning bottles for patrons to use. I have taken photos of the grime, it is gross. Plus the prices have gone up over the last 2 years. The owners know that all the other choices near here are more money, so as long as they keep prices just below every other gym people won't complain. Just beware before you join. It isn't bad enough for me to quit but maybe one day.

I've been here for two years and have appreciated a lot about this gym. Clean and professional interior, good quality machines that are laid out well, helpful staff. I really like the orange open-exercise "End Zone" area where you can stretch or bring weights over and have lots of space do whatever you want - no more crowded weight rack areas. I go in around 6-9pm Mon-Sat or Sat morning and never see it crowded. I recently started personal training and am impressed with the instruction and help that I'm getting. Basic membership price is good, a lot cheaper than big-name gyms. They did recently increase prices and combine membership plans, and are planning on moving all MN services to the Roseville location. But this was mentioned and explained to me in a good and helpful manner when I asked about something unrelated, and I understand if they needed to adjust to the market or keep the business running well. Again I think you get a good value and it's cheaper than bigger gyms. It's good that you can pause or cancel your membership quickly and easily by logging in to their website, no pressure or hassle. Locker room and showers are fine, no real complaints, I see how they regularly clean every day so that's helpful. Thanks!

If they put as much effort into cleaning the bathrooms as they did with the dry erase board art in the employee corner, this place would be unstoppable. The back women’s bathroom was absolutely disgusting today with the trash bin overflowing. I’m convinced it must be cleaned only once a week. I don’t know if you’re not allotting enough janitorial hours in your payroll, or just lack of care in cleanliness from the staff and management but you have to figure it out.

However, the Apple Valley location that went out of business a month ago gave away or sold my personal information and gave my banking information to another known very shady Corporation. Love the new upgrades- recently added in several more squat racks and bench press, along with generally making better use of the space. Even added in a ab raise chair. Appreciate the staff and ownership making upgrades instead of cuts. All around one of the best values you can get for a gym, considering it has pretty much every machine and free weight set up you could ask for.

One thing I would love is if the showers were cleaned a little better, especially the constant mold issue in the corners. Could easily solve the situation with the addition of damp-rid bags/dehumidifiers in the shower stalls.

Another review I feel entitled to post. This gym just raised their prices yet again and this time was without warning. The cost of this gym per month comes nowhere near the quality of what you get. Between mold in the showers, equipment consistently down, staff sitting on their phones, dirt/ dust all over, and MUCH more. It has only gotten worse over the last few years but the cost is getting ridiculous. Their lack of communication over issues and closures is notable. Whether hours change, prices go up, or any other issues, there’s little to no direct communication to members. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend new comers to the gym, you’d get a better experience and value elsewhere.

I’d just like to say me, my mother and my brother have all had separate accounts here and after canceling our accounts with them multiple times WE STILL GET CHARGED! We then communicate with them and they have either said it’s the billing company or we never cancelled which is 100% not true! My mom and I both had to cancel our cards and get new ones and my brother still continues to get charges and is trying to figure out how to deal with it legally. I WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AFTER THIS HAPPENING NOT ONCE, not twice, but three times!

I've utilized the Roseville location, as well as other, since well before the xperience name took over all of the golds gym locations. There is a lot I could write but I am going to try and condense this as much as possible. Some of the trainers and staff are great people at roseville. So I don't think some of the problems are a reflection of them at Roseville per day, but some certainly are. Simply put tho, much like you see in other comments, this club is just terrible in comparison to when it opened. Ongoing members are now looking at the THIRD rate increase in about a year and a half. Mind you, one of them was basically not even relayed at all to any of the members. It just happened blindly. Inflation is understandable to some point, and rates are going to increase for various reasons. But the bottom line is, it is laughable for the NEW current owners to think these locations are a 50-100 dollar a month club. As mentioned, you can simply look at other comments and see this club is not maintained virtually at all. It has been super frustrating for any of us that stayed with Xperience through all the pandemic situations and on to see how subpar this club has gotten. Not only is cleanliness a real issue with many(see other comments) tons of equipment will always be broken for periods of time IE machines, cardio equip, and even a lot of the recovery area stuff. It is pretty transparent the new owners think there new business model will stimulate capital from the new memberships enough to offset all the old members that will likely cancel. Paying 3 times more than I was a few years ago for a gym that is a shell of what it was previous is just silly. For people looking for an opinion, there are certainly other chain gyms you could look into that will be cheaper and maintained in almost any regard much better. I will add, I do carry a Planet Fitness membership as well due to travel. For any "normal" type of person going to a gym to stay healthy, and otherwise, they have more than enough clean equipment and decent establishments, depending on location to location. I'm leaning towards pausing my experience membership and exploring my options like many other current members apparently.

The sauna was one of theain things that has kept me from cancelling my membership at xperience. I however think I am going to pause my membership for a bit now after this notice of the upcoming 3rd price increase. It is just too clear that the people that bought the xperience name recently have zero understanding of what matters in a gym such as this, and only a main concern of the dollar amount they are getting from members.

A well equipped convenient gym and a reasonable price, though a bit grubby in the men's locker room. While the facilities are serviceable enough for me, there is a problem with opening up on time. This morning (20-March-2024) as of 4:30 no one had yet come to open up and again 19-April-2024 no one had shown up to open as of 4:25. At those two times I abandoned my ambitions of a morning workout. They usually open around four (within five minutes) and even LifeTime fitness has the occasional no show for the opening crew. Still, this is not the way to conduct business.

To the management: you get your money on time, you are obligated to let the patrons in to the gym on time.

Overall, I do like this gym, as I feel it has a wide variety of machines and equipment. Location is also good. My biggest complaint is when the gym is not open on time. It’s clearly posted that opening time on the weekdays is 4am. When that’s indicated, I expect nothing more than the gym being open at that time. Most days, it seems like this gym opens on time, however, at least 2x out of the week, there is no one to open at 4am. I find that extremely inconvenient. I see from previous reviews that this is an ongoing problem and I can only assume nothing has been done to fix the problem. I arrived this morning at 4am on the dot. There were already a number of patrons waiting outside in their cars. I waited in my car for 30 minutes and no one showed up. Early mornings are the only time I can make time to work out, so you can only imagine how upsetting this was for me. I find it unfair that they expect us to pay for a membership but cannot follow through with the service. If your employee cannot commit to arriving on time, please find someone else who can because I am sick and tired of waking up in the morning wondering if your gym will be open or not.

i’ve been coming here for about a year this spring and it’s gone really really downhill to where it’s honestly hard to walk in these days - my biggest warning is honestly for women considering joining or who are at the gym for both their hygiene health and deep concerns for safety or reporting made as members.
it’s been made clear to (female members/non male identifying especially)that reports of sexual harassment and safety concerns by fellow members on the floor will not be handled accordingly and it’s lead me to look for a new gym where safety is prioritized and even, honestly, handled proactively or at all

hygiene is health, bathrooms (and gym floors) must be maintained to maintain health safety for members.
i am a female member and the women’s locker room (and back area locker room) are constantly concerningly FILTHY, is something the women in the locker room have just accepted these last few months? the toilets and sinks are consistently left in the same conditions with the same urine and stool for days in the gym, i am there six days a week. they don’t maintain their weight floors like the paper towels / disinfectant or machines (the bare minimum of the gym). the staff really obviously click on computers all day but ignore the gym and members needs - you can see this video of the weight racks with filth and debris from how long? i would be really concerned to swim in the roseville pool compared to other locations, it is typically visibly of concerning water quality and i am a swimmer.
it’s really sad to see my gym like this when i pay the same for the membership and this was once such a well maintained gym

I typically go to LA fitness but even been looking for a new gym and come here with my friends every week. The mens locker rooms are dirty and especially the restroom by the back drinking fountain. The workout floor is disgusting, the dumbbell racks are dirty and it doesn’t seem like anything is ever deep cleaned. This is a high traffic gym and it’s disappointing to see workers stand around and do nothing. Im happy the sauna was remodeled and it’s busier than ever in there. As of lately I've overheard some inappropriate things being discussed and it creates an uncomfortable environment. This gym needs to do better overall, Id love to switch memberships to here but it seems id be paying more money for a facility thats dirty and unprofessional. I've been going to this gym for about a year now it's been pretty good up until 02/15/24 I feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe about going back due to remarks that were made by an older gentleman about a 17-year-old girl and his friend who was making remarks about another woman about what she wears to the gym we did inform the staff, but so far nothing has been done the gym is supposed to be where we can go to relax to reset our minds instead of feeling unsafe and uncomfortable

I’ve been coming for about a year. In the past few months it feels like the gym has gone down hill. The weight machines are sticking, squeaking, or not well maintained, a fourth of the treadmills have out of order signs, the sled has extremely low tires for months now, the cleaning sprayers rarely work which means the machines aren’t getting cleaned after use. Overall things just seem worn out.

Pretty solid gym. I'm a regular gym- goer, 4-5 times a week and although there are some times where activity is high and some machines aren't available there is typically something else you can do to supplement or substitute while you wait for something to open up. I also appreciate that they have a kids club. My wife and I are expecting our first kiddo and it's pleasing to know that we can drop her off while we exercise. The amenities are nice too with the pool which is always clean and a sauna that is always working.
Cleanliness could be a bit better. Not there I've seen theft but it has come up to where some people cannot have basic decency to not have sticky fingers. The location can't really do too much to negate that, low life's will be low life's so make sure to bring a lock to secure your items.

This gym is awesome. The equipment is clean and maintained. Its also pretty casual. There are very few "gym" people, which is nice. Sometimes it can feel a little weird at a gym, but here its very comfortable. The only piece of criticism I have is the sauna maintenance. The sauna isn't bad, but some of the wood is showing its age.

Constantly dirty and broken equipment that doesn’t get fixed for months on end. There are some fairly nice staff members, but for almost a year the men’s bathroom has had non functioning or empty soap dispensers. Nobody seems to care. It’s gross.

edit December 2023: I see they copy/pasted a boilerplate response a few months ago. Nothing has changed. If anything the equipment has become worse. Half the cardio equipment is broken now. Nothing is being done about it. I'm going to be finding a new gym soon.

Our previous gym closed so we have been without a place to work out for almost a year. We are seniors so we don't need lots of body building just a place to stretch out and get the heart rate up. We discovered this gym recently and are very happy with it. It has a machine for every muscle and many walking/running, biking and stair stepping machines. The lap pool is the icing on the cake. Plus it accepts silver sneakers memberships which is fantastic.

Came here from Roseville LAF after it shut down. Personally, I feel it's a much better fit for my needs; a bit more spread out, and there seems to be more availability for things like calisthenics, stretching, or things like deadlifts, snatches, etc. Though I'd like a bit more equipment for the price I pay per month, it's still better in my opinion than LAF as I have not fought for equipment quite like I did at peak hours at LAF (though, like I said, would like a few more machines such as benches, squat racks). Overall, great gym for the money, and offer way more services/classes/cryo if that's your thing!

Nice gym, lots of equipment and tons of nice TVs. I was doing the free week to decide between here and LA Fitness.
They have all these side rooms filled with equipment. I go later in the evening and noticed they were all empty every time I went in. I wanted to use the heavy bags (and row machines, the “public” row machines are pieces of junk) in one of the rooms, saw it was empty, no sign on the door saying do not use, and the door was unlocked, so I went in.
Very quickly an employee (I’m guessing, he never identified himself) told me and my buddy to get out and he was going to lock it up. Okay, that’s fine if I can’t go in, I had no idea and it wasn’t posted anywhere (and again, the door is unlocked).
I said we were just going to hit the heavy bags. He stares blankly at me. I asked if there were any public heavy bags. Again, he just stares blankly at me. I looked at him and said “…no?” And finally he said no. I wanted to ask if he even worked there since he seemed to not know what I was saying.
If someone isn’t allowed to use that room, maybe post a sign? Or lock the door? And if you won’t do that, maybe show some customer service and explain the gym rules.
I’ll stick with LA Fitness where they let you use equipment in an empty room.

Friendly staff and good equipment but the men’s room is filthy: mold and fruit flies in the showers, no soap in the showers, some with weak water pressure, hair left on shower floors, the rest of the men’s room floor needs to be swept and mopped badly, and you need to ask for toilet paper because they don’t check it routinely. Also… I tried to cancel and the morning staff can’t do it. They told me to go online and the site doesn’t work and you can’t cancel on the app.

I moved to MN 2 weeks ago. Just started going to this gym for a couple of days. My Husband has a membership and I was using the 7 day free trial. He brought my Nephew here as a guest. While I was signing in a lady with red hair came. I told her I’m still using my 7 day trial, and she said to me “OH I BeliEvE yOu” with a smart attitude. Another girl came to help us talk about membership for my nephew and when she asked her coworker(with the red hair) about the prices the Woman looked at us and rolled her eyes, and the girl just said “uhhhhh I don’t know the prices, but you can use the 7 day free trial, but after that you have to pay $50” My husband said “what’s the point of a free trial if you have to pay?”. The girl couldn’t answer us, so she took us to the desk and this Gentleman helped us, and said “he can go in for free, we will call his dad tomorrow to see if he wants to sign up”
After leaving the gym these two young Hmong couples were trying to redeem their points. He had 2000 points but didn’t know how to redeem them, she was there asking him “do you EVEN have points?”. She ruined all of our vibe at the gym, and I felt so bad because it was my nephew first time ever at a gym, and he loves to work out. I don’t know if she’s racist towards Asians, or she just hates her job. But she definitely needs to work on customer service with a smile.

If I could give no stars I would!! This is by far the worst Xperience locations I have been to. Staff pretends not see people sitting around on equipment not exercising. They are sitting on equipment playing with their phones and taking selfies. The staff needs to stop this kind of behavior. I come to workout not have my time wasted as people use equipment as chairs. If you don't want to workout than don't go to the gym! Not only does the staff do nothing about people misusing the equipment, they cannot be bothered to fill papertowels or the cleaning solution. Without towels and cleaning solution how is equipment to be cleaned after each use? Cleanliness is obviously a not a priority as the bathroom is crawling with bugs. This tells me they are not being cleaned regularly or at all. The health department should make a visit!! I'm not one that wants to share space with bugs!! This is where I shower after working out, this is beyond unacceptable. This location needs a lot of improvement!! Management needs to train staff and dismiss the staff that is allowing and contributing to the uncleanness of this gym. AVOID THIS LOCATION IF YOU EXPECT A CLEAN GYM AND IF YOUR PLAN IS TO HAVE AN ACTUAL WORKOUT!!!

Have been a member for awhile. Relative to the other gyms in the area, I would say this is the one you should go to. There is much more equipment than an anytime, better stuff than a planet fitness, and more cost efficient for a smaller private gym. The reason it loses a star is the locker room cleanliness. It’s normally ridden with hair, the showers are filthy. I mostly just stopped using them.

My fiancé and I have been going to this gym for around 2 years or so. The gym itself is pretty nice, has a lot of machines and a good amount of space. The amenities to the gym are also great (when useable or open). I rarely leave reviews, but I’m pretty disappointed in this gym.

However, within the last year or so things have gone down hill. The women’s locker room is honestly pretty disgusting. Constant hair and bugs in the shower area. The bugs are coming up out of the drain (see some photos). Myself (and a few other regulars) were tracking how frequently things were cleaned - for reference (photos attached) there was an advil pill on the floor for over a week (meaning they haven’t cleaned the floor in at least a week). Showering there makes you feel dirty. They don’t clean their tanning beds ever. The cryotherapy room is never open (not sure I’ve ever seen it open). Myself (and others) have talked to staff and tried to contact management about the state of the locker rooms and nothing changes. Classes are often canceled with no warning too. They’ve increased our membership fees for a decline in gym management.

Overall, nice gym - but prices are high for dirty locker rooms and declining use of amenities. My fiancé and I canceled our membership and have started going to a different gym.

I would think there are fairly simple obligations being they increased the fees for members… but that’s yet to be seen. The gym has a lot of equipment and friendly trainers. My locker was robbed. I had good reason to believe a certain staff member was in on it. Staff was incredibly unhelpful and slow in getting video, which confirmed my suspicions once we viewed it. The usual suspects. They had the thief's name and wouldn't share anything. XPerience is not on your side. Staff was also bad about setting the tone for culture and enforcing the basic etiquette rules by reminding people they can't "reserve" multiple work stations or bogart the deadlift platforms for a half hour while they stretch and chat. The cleaning crew were the best workers they have here. What's laughable is they still text me asking me to come back. Hard pass.

When I first joined Xperience I was super excited but soon realized if you’re serious about fitness and have a busy schedule, this probably isn’t the gym for you. Even at the “slow” times I still found myself waiting for machines. There were also always a lot of young people yelling, screwing around, and treating the place like a dating app. I’m giving two stars because the variety of equipment was nice and the locker rooms were as well. It also seemed pretty clean overall.

I did a 7 day trial to see how this gym was. It was OK not good not bad. Plenty of cardio machines. The down side is little amounts of weight machines. It felt cramped into the middle area.. tried at different time of the day (off peak hours) and still had to wait for machines.

Clean gym. Would like to see them scratch the training floor and expand with more weight machines.

I’m disappointed in the lack of communication this gym has. I recently just noticed that they had increased my monthly membership the last few months. They said they sent an email to everybody, but if you opt out of their emails you will never know they increased your bill. I never got an email about it. They could have at least called their members or mailed something to their house to inform them that their monthly payments are going to increase.

I showed up in the early morning and nobody had even opened the gym. There was several cars waiting in the parking lot but nobody showed up for at least an hour when I left.

They also reduced the hours Friday-Sunday to close an hour earlier without sending any prior email communication. I didn’t find out until I showed up and they were closing down.

I didn't have issue with the rate increase, I have issue with the poor and nonexistent management communication. I never unsubscribed from any mailings from XP and when I heard about the rate increases, I checked all inboxes to verify that it wasn't ever sent. Nothing was ever sent. Every time there was an update regarding rates, employees, services etc., I only found out by talking to employees there or to other regulars.

Update 28-Jan-2023: Dropping this place to 2 stars. By the time I left, they had pretty much dropped hours of the cryo area which pushed me to decrease my membership level. Also, they started raising their rates, and didn't send any notice to me whatsoever. Servicer they use for payment collection deliberatey dragged their feet so as to collect one last payment despite giving just over a 2 week notice for cancellation. (Best part is, they only accept debit cards/ACH, much harder to dispute and difficult to get any money back) I will no longer recommend this gym unless you set up a separate ACH account just for this and go after them to notify you of rate increases.

One star docked only due to having some missing equipment for the platforms and racks (spotter arms for one of the racks and one for the platform, one set of clamps went missing, and a set of hooks.

Overall experience is very good.

Great place for a workout! Been with this gym since they first opened and left after joining the military service. Now I'm back signing up!

Three different levels of membership, if you been here before their cryotherapy is now a part of their membership. See one of their reps for more info.

There's a pool, sauna, locker room, free weight area. There benches are limited imo especially peak hours. Squat racks are awesome and also a indoor "turf" area. Multiple machines, weighted bags, kettle bells, etc.

Classes as well are here. Personal trainers have always been awesome. Highly suggest walking in and checking it out.

New member here really like the gym - one thing I’m not really happy about is people bringing professional Sony cameras and vlogging- I kinda get it if you’re using your phone to get a quick shot

But if you’re bringing a tripod and setting it in the middle and having people walk around?

Changing my original review. Canceled my membership due to poor management, maintenance of equipment, and change of clientele. The poor management pushed out most of the good employees at the gym. Lack of maintenance on broken equipment, damaged sauna, and broken lockers. There is also little control over how people treat the gym. No one respects equipment, no one wipes down after their set, and no one picked up after themselves.

The gym was busy on Monday from 5-8, and I mean busy like “how many sets you got left” busy.

Prior to the price hike, you could get a yearly membership for $350ish if I remember correctly.

I read another review (with comment from the owner) stating that rates increased on May 1, 2022. Rates also increased today, October 1, 2022! I check the website YESTERDAY and had a tour today. I had to walk out after they showed me the new "bi-weekly" rates that are DOUBLE the rates posted on 9/30/2022. They also got rid of the cheapest plan available. How stupid do they think people are? Who wants to get billed twice a month? After reading the other reviews about water fountains and locker condition I can only assume that clowns are running this business. Parking lot had very large potholes also, elevator broken too.
Edit: upon reading further reviews, it appears a number of these Google reviews are fake. Some of these read like an infomercial. Was really hoping this would take the place of Planet Fitness but disappointed. One of the review below mentions Orange Theory, not even the correct gym. Lol. Check all the reviews before you consider signing up. One guy had lawyers sent after him when trying to cancel..
