Just attended my first yoga and a pint. It will not be my last. Great class and fun environment. Loved the exercises at the bar. The instructor is wonderful. She provided alternative poses and the thoughts and intentions she suggested were spot on.

If you're looking for a fun and balanced yoga class, Yoga and a Pint is it! Viv's classes are the perfect way to unwind and get a good workout in. It is a great mix of yoga, strength, and laughter.
Plus, I'm a huge fan of her virtual "It Does Matter" classes on weekdays. They're a convenient and effective way to stay active at home and the best way to start your day. I Highly recommend Yoga and a Pint!

I have been attending Yoga and a Pint since March 2016. My daughter made me go -- I hadn't done yoga since the mid- to late-1980s, so I was reluctant to attend. My reluctance soon vanished, and I have been attending faithfully ever since. Now even my husband attends, and he loves Viv's classes, too. Viv's classes are very welcoming, accommodating and varied. They include yoga, of course, but also arm and core exercises -- great for your musculoskeletal health! The music and energy are just right, and I have made many friends at Yoga and a Pint, including Viv and her family. The space at Lake Monster has an excellent feel, we can sometimes do outdoor yoga on the plaza, and the Lake Monster team and beverages are great. I always feel reinvigorated after my Saturdays and Sundays at Yoga and a Pint and Lake Monster!

Yoga and a Pint is only for those that want to have a GREAT addition to their weekend! Viv, the yoga instructor is upbeat, warm and full of positive energy. The class is approachable to ALL yoga levels. There is the perfect balance of flow, intensity and deep relaxation. And let's be honest, you get a beer or THC after! You will be so happy you went - either solo, with a partner or a group of friends. Any and all are welcome!

My wife and I have been practicing at Yoga and a Pint for several years now, and it's become a weekend tradition we try hard not to miss. The students are a very friendly and welcoming group, spanning a range from college kids to old farts like me. Viv is a genius at creating an environment with positive energy and good vibes all around, encouraging everybody to do their best and have a good time without undue pressure. The brewery itself is a really interesting indoor space, and the outdoor patio area is a lovely change of scenery when the weather is nice. And I'd be remiss if I didn't admit that a cold pint is a really nice reward for some morning exercise. Come down and say hi to everyone - you won't regret it!

Always a great class .Vivโs is an inclusive instructor and can appeal to individuals at any level of yoga practice. She has fun music and has created a welcoming community environment. My girlfriend and I make an outing of it and stay for a beverage and play a round or two of cribbage. We love the whole experience.

Viv's classes are so fun and accessible. Somehow she always has a message/theme throughout the class that is exactly what I needed that week. Her home made chex mix and the beer afterwards is the cherry on top.

I've been going to yoga here for many years - Viv is the best instructor I've ever met! I love how she combines truly skilled instruction with a very positive and low-pressure (and honestly just FUN) atmosphere. Her style brings a low-key, super inclusive crowd of folks to the mat - this is a class where you don't feel like everyone is watching what you're doing or judging your fitness and flexibility. It's a great vibe plus you get a free beer - what more could you want??

Iโve been going to Yoga and a pint for about three years on Saturday and sometimes Sunday. It makes a big difference !
The instructor - Viv - is great! She gives us lots of options about poses, and makes it a lot of fun! Plus you get a beer (or other drinks) and on Sunday chex mix.
Seriously whatโs not to like??

Now, after over seven years, itโs time I finally sent a review. Viv is a fabulous instructor and a nice person. A good workout with good music and she often reminds us โitโs just yogaโ. She and the other regulars have created a nice community here at Lake Monster Brewing. At other yoga classes, at the end everyone rolls up their mat and leaves, here we roll up our mat and grab a beer. Nice people, good class, itโs now just part of my week.

Viv is a wonderful teacher who is such a natural at give you exactly what you need even if you didnโt know what that was when you started. Also, a fantastic and welcoming community. Doesnโt hurt that it also means a free beer at the end. You should come to one of the best things the Twin Cities has to offer.

I absolutely love Yoga and a Pint, which is held at Lake Monster Brewing the hour before they open to the public. Not only do you get a one-hour guided yoga session, but it wraps with a pint of beer. Bonus: Sundays also include Chex Mix! :)
There are a lot of regulars and everyone is really nice. As someone with a less than typical yoga body type, I find this class welcoming.
Viv does a great job offering alternative moves throughout her session. This approach allows all skill levels to participate fully without feeling it's out of their league or too easy.
