Like other reviews I see some had the same experience with this gym, I moved out of state forgot I had a membership until I saw a payment on my statement when I called to cancel and they wouldn’t cancel it, told me I had to come in the office to cancel, which I couldn’t because I stayed in another state. I had to deactivate my card which they later reported none payment on my credit. I don’t know if this gym is struggling on money but they will make it hard to cancel memberships.

I have really enjoyed going to this gym love the people and atmosphere. Nice and clean. Going to have to leave because I am moving. I would tell anyone if you need motivation and help this is the place to go.

WENT DOWN TO ANYTIME FITNESS AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE GYM AND ESOECIALLY WITH THE YOUNG LADY WHO INTERVIEWED ME- AND I JOINED THEN. THE GYM WAS WELL EQUIPPED AND A LOT LARGER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE.

During the COVID-19 crisis, I reached out to the manager, Jessica, to cancel my membership since my contract was up. I was informed that she could not find me being a member of her location and would need to search the paper contracts. A week later, after no response from Jessica I emailed again. She informed me that she had referred my situation to corporate to find my contract. I figured with this being a professional establishment, the situation would be soon resolved. While checking my bank statements I realized that I have been charged for two months past the date of the cancellation request. I have had to work with my bank to cancel these payments on my end. Very poor way to conduct business. Anytime fitness is the Comcast of gyms.

Good area, decent equipment, however lacking enough equipment to share certain lifting areas such as Squat rack or deadlift area.
Lifting plates, although very adequate in weight capacity, are on the smaller side and requires more range of movement to perform standard lifts and cannot drop.
Also, unequal dispersion of kettle bell weights.

I signed a 2 year contract after being told it was a 1 year contract. I do understand that it is my fault for not reading my paperwork. But this has happened to many people I have talked to. I’ve been trying to call for weeks to cancel my membership because it is up in November and I have moved out of state but no one will answer the phone. Absolutely poor management from this gym.
