Got a quick workout in here while in town. I’ve been to several AF locations while traveling and this one did not disappoint. It’s a bit on the smaller size, as I would expect for a small town location. At the same time, it has all the standard equipment-dumbbells, power rack, numerous machines, treadmills, etc. No complaints here-I appreciate the staff keeping the this gym clean and in good order!

Wow. William Clements is an unprofessional owner with poor social skills who obviously doesn’t want anyone working out if they don’t pay him. I’m from out of town and just joined anytime fitness. He would not let me come workout without paying him and was rather rude about it. Not a great look for anytime fitness in general when propane trying to get healthy and paying 600 for a membership. Might be contacting BBB and getting my money back! Needless to say, would not recommend.

I have to speak up in response to some of the negative reviews here that I think are very unfair. First of all, the gym is a basic gym. That's what you pay for and that's what you get. It has all the basic machines and weights that most people would need for keeping in shape. No, it is not designed for body builders.
Having said that, I have never noticed any bent barbells. I mean, maybe professional lifters stare down the ends to check like you do a pool cue but most people here just want to lift some weight.
Yes, the music is on a loop but everybody in the gym is wearing their own earbuds and I don't think anybody is bothered by that. Well, I guess somebody is.
Yes, there is only one TV but I don't know anybody who watches it except for sports scores and the stock market. This is a basic gym.
Most people that go to this anytime fitness want to come in and do their workout at their pace without paying for more than they need and that means they don't want all the bells and whistles, and maybe the prestige, of going to the more expensive gyms in town.
The owner William always responds to any question I have. I can't speak for anybody else but I'm not special.
We have old people, young people people in good shape and in bad shape. And we have huge muscular guys who clearly are able to get a decent workout in what is offered.
I'm not a big fan of machines so if anything I'd probably prefer more racks instead of machines but that's not really a big deal.
I'm not the owner or anybody who has a reason to defend this place except for the fact that people are coming on here and wildly misrepresenting what this place is. The best thing to do if you are looking for a gym is look at a few different ones and decide what makes sense for you. If you want a swimming pool, a couple of tennis courts and a playground with kids running around, this is not the place for you.

Visiting the gym here, long time members...both my wife and I, door here will not work, key fab...called the owner Billy the owner and the gym several times..no answer..called my gym owner, answered immediately. Said key is fine..shows I'm in the gym ?? "Really" ?
Is this gym serviced correctly ? Will management call me back...I pay to use the gym anytime-anywhere, thats why I joined...still waiting for a call back...

ITS a horrible place!!! I go to the school next to it, they are always playing the same music all most everyday, and people punch the wall all the time!! its hard to focus!!! and teachers ask y we can't get our work done, hmmmm, prolly cuz yall are so loud all the time!!

Anytime Fitness, in McComb, MS, is a sufficient gym for anyone wanting to get in shape. If you're a complainer and hard to please, go to a big dollar gym. But, if you want a good workout because you simply desire to be more healthy, give Anytime a try. It's a clean atmosphere that is non-judgemental, and that staff and many of the members are friendly.

I've been to several Anytime Fitness locations. This is the least remarkable of them all. I currently live in town here as well so I don't have much choice. But the way they have their TV rigged up to save money makes it unnecessarily difficult, compared to other locations. They only have 1 true elliptical, which is extremely annoying. It's rather crammed and the place is starting to show its age. The managers here don't seem particularly friendly either. I've not seen them say a word to anyone but not a huge deal. I guess there could be worse, they do keep is fairly clean.
