I have seen tremendous gains in my teenage son who has been at Base for the past year. He is stronger, faster and has more confidence in himself and what he can accomplish. Highly recommend Base for athletic training!

Chuck started at Base Sports Performance in February of 2023. Within minutes of his
first evaluation, one of the trained professionals looked at me and said, “He is strong,
but has zero flexibility.” Little did they know that this was one of the main reasons he
came to Base. Chuck is extremely dedicated to baseball and works hard at it every day,
but as he got older, he needed to really work on his speed and agility. High School
baseball tryouts were quickly approaching so I mentioned to JB: “Hey, he has worked
every day since he was 5 to take the field as a baseball player at LHS. This is his goal...
let’s go to work”. He started with the 2 days per week plan. After the very first day of
training, Chuck told us, “Mom, I love it, and this is exactly what I need... just you watch!”
As everyone knows, it takes time to see major results; however, within the first two
months, Chuck was already showing major agility changes behind the plate. His swing
was also much more powerful.
As the big day of tryouts for high school baseball was vastly approaching, nerves were
flowing! It didn’t help that he was also trying out for a baseball team that had just won
the 6A State Championship….talk about setting the bar high! We prayed continuously,
trained harder, and trusted the Lord’s plan for Chuck above all. September rolled around
and it’s tryout out time. Not only did Chuck make the baseball team, but guess where he
was when he found out? BASE! All the guys there & some fellow LHS baseball player
athletes were all in house and delivered the news….. “WE got a BURG BOY in the
house, LET’S GO CHUCK!!”
This place is special for so many reasons. As a parent, not only is the environment you
are entrusting you’re children in important, but also the work & time that each coach
and trainer puts in with your kid is equally important as they’re individually working hand
in hand with your kiddos to achieve their goals. There have been so many days I have
asked him “Are you doing this yet?” He will respond quickly with “Yes, mom. My work
out changes every month, but they always make sure I am doing it right and not getting
hurt.” That fact alone from a parent’s perspective makes every bit of it worth it. I will
conclude and say the biggest change physically for Chuck was when we committed to
3-4 times a week. We did this after fall ball was over and really focused on his overall
sports performance. I am so very thankful for all the trainers at Base, and Mrs. Carie for
always taking care of us.

This place builds champions! Been around a long time, watched thousands of games of softball! You want a leg up on the competition get to BASE! Adults, remote, High School, College, middle school and now SPEED SCHOOL! You want to be better than awesome get your BASE on!
