Pros:
-There's a LOT of equipment
-There's a separate room you can go into if you need some more private space to stretch or do other workouts
-It's never too busy
-Guest pass available

Cons:
-It's fiiiiilthy. Only recently have they kinda started cleaning it, but they don't do a whole lot in terms of cleanliness.
-A lot of stuff is broken from careless gym-goers and it doesn't get repaired quickly, if at all.
-A ton of people have a lack of consideration for the people that use this gym, they don't know how to clean up after themselves. Water bottles, food wrappers, equipment left out, you name it.
-Nobody wipes down equipment and the gym doesn't provide adequate supplies to do so. You can't even get a rag once the tanning salon closes. For some reason they have a spray bottle of water floating around with the disinfectant sprays to be used the same way, which uhhhh, water doesn't kill bacteria lol.
-The girls bathroom never has toilet paper.

I am so sad about leaving this gym. It is way more spacious than others on this side of town. I just can not take the hygiene of this gym anymore. If the owner is reading this, please put some money into your gym. If it was well-kept I'm sure it would give you so much more business. But I, as well as other people I am seeing in the reviews and familiar faces I saw at Beach Fit that are now at other gyms, cannot go to your gym any longer. I am giving this gym three stars while I hold on to the hope that the gym can be fixed.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Please DO NOT sign up for this gym! Not only is it ridiculously dirty (massive spiderwebs and dead bugs, dust and such), neglected (broken stuff everywhere) but they are also morally questionable as a business. I had signed up for a family package (about $65) with my credit card and didn't notice I was being overcharged ($104) for a couple of months. I tried contacting them so many times to get it sorted out, I sent multiple emails, contacted them through Facebook, phone, but they were unreachable. All they did was cancel my subscription but never refunded the overcharged amount. I explained the situation politely and got absolutely ghosted. They told me once the manager would reach out to me but that never happened. Worst worst WORST gym I've ever seen 😫

Don’t expect much. And by much, I mean any type of cleanliness. I frequently find feminine products laid about the gym floor, mountains of trash overflowing the bins in the bathroom (as well as a lack of toilet paper). This place is basically a tanning salon with a gym attached to it. Two stars because the equipment isn’t the worst.

I visited this gym with a friend in the hopes of signing up. However the state of the gym was horrifying! The gym and equipment was FILTHY and obviously hasn’t been taken care of in months. I have been at many gyms and this is by far the dirtiest gym I have ever seen. There is no pride taken by employees to keep it clean and do regular maintenance. You would think that with Covid there would be extra precautions being taken and extra cleaning happening to keep members safe!

Beachfit is a very special place to workout. It features all of the racks you need to complete your strenuous compound lifts, however they do not have a proper station with pads to deadlift on. I give this gym 4 stars because they have nice equipment, but some of the other aspects of the gym could be worked on such as cleanliness, and the function of the fingerprint scanner so I can access the gym 24/7. You can expect to have 2 to 3 machines out of order when you go and sometimes the bathroom. All in all it’s a pretty decent gym but it could use some work.
