I’m trying to cancel this membership (on the phone now) and they’ve been giving me the go-around. I called, they gave me a phone number, that phone number told me to deal with club. I called again, and now Jesse has kept me on hold for 15 minutes SO FAR. Could be more.

As to why I’m canceling: We got this membership for the daycare (the girls were sweet), BUT obviously they don’t keep it clean. Our 8 mo. Old ended up getting ROSEALA and ended up in the emergency room. How do we know it was from there? Because my wife is SAHM and I’m the only who left the house 3 times for work that week. Anywho, it was an expensive visit and he had a high fever for 5 days plus a rash that followed for approximately 4 days.

Plus, the steam room was always broken ANNDDD there were people pouring water from their water bottles into the boiler (YUCK, talk about bacteria). Anywho, for the most part the staff is nice (even though now I’m 20 minutes on hold), but I just decided to go to another gym.

If the canceling was as easy as they said, I would have never had time to post this review but here I am. I’m going to Fondren Fitness instead.

I have been a member for over 20 years and never seen it this bad. Nothing stays fixed for long and even when you mention items they say oh we will fix it and never do. Examples are too many to mention. Can’t fix washing machine so no towels, steam room constantly down and loose equipment everywhere. I need another location and know Mike can do better.

Club4 Fitness Lake Harbour is a great place to workout! The cost is flexible, reasonable, and justifiable if you workout a few times a week. The overall environment is friendly and neat with ample spaces, including locker rooms. I especially like the women’s center. The equipment and training options are more than adequate for my fitness goals. Parking up front can be challenging, but only at certain times of the day (except on Fridays), and overflow parking in the back has always worked for me. The Club4 website helped me find answers to many questions before deciding to join.

My experience was in Madison. I have been a member gor a long time. I stopped for wiite a while due to surgeries and injuries. Things had changed when I went back.
It was really good. Mary Grace helped me learn how yo start the treadmill as well ss the Red light machine. I vould mot have asked for a better experience. I will comtinue yo ho there unless I want yo swim or do dome water therapy for my back.

The staff works hard at keeping the areas clean especially the bathrooms at Flowood. The lady with short blonde hair (now it is purple) is always vacuuming or cleaning the equipment. The only thing missing is floor space for ppl to do lunges or flip tires. Otherwise it is great.

CLUB4 fitness Lake Harbor is one of the best fitness facilities in the state. I truly enjoy my time working out when I do come there. Over the past 10 years they’ve been the best. However, I must say that to remain the best, continued upgrade is required, especially when the competition has gotten better. Recently, the planet fitness on lake harbor has made some serious upgrades and many times I find myself driving past CLUB4 to go to plants fitness to work out with the newest upgrades in equipment, and I’ve seen other members there also. They’ve even upgraded to free weights to attract members such as myself. I still believe CLUB4 is the best, but keep in mind, the competition is getting better. Just food for thought.

I visit this location 4 times a week. For the most part the equipment is fair for the basic weight training and cardio needs however the female locker room is in need of some attention. Lately I have been taking my gym bag out on the floor with me due to Club4 not having working lockers. Over 70% of them are not operational due to being broke. 20% of the same lockers are always lock so I’m guessing they were locked due to trial and error of testing the lockers while only 10% of them are working properly but goes very quickly. The gym is not responsible for lost or stolen items and do not have adequate lockers for their female patrons to store their items while using their membership. I have expressed my concerns on a few occasions over the last year and no improvements are in sight.

Good gym but a few of the workers need a re-training on customer service. Every time I walk into this gym there is one older male employee who speaks to everyone except me. Not sure why I get treated as less than a normal customer and I am very much a regular at the gym. I pay my membership like everyone else and deserve the same courtesy and respect when I walk through those doors. It's evident he has something against me because he goes out of his way to speak to everyone but me. It's rude and unprofessional. The rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming.

As much as I love my gym they have got to do better. These pictures were taken before 6am and yes I was the first one this machine at 5am in the morning. I have spoken with the manger in regards to the cardio equipment being nasty first thing when we arrive. They cleaned that day and a few days after, but back to the repetitive lack of cleaning. This is unacceptable because in the evening they are fully staff and most of the workers and standing behind the desk on their phones. We love it here, but there is NO EXCUSE for this. Most gyms have checklist of duties to be fulfilled throughout the day, but I guess thats not accurate for the Ridgeland location. Please treat us as valuable members and do better. I look forward to coming to the gym in the mornings. On the other hand, we deserve a clean environment and TOWELS!

The gym equipment is nice and many machines to choose from but my main complaint is the daycare staff! If you have children don't bring them here especially if they're more on the hyper end or ADHD type they have ZERO patience with kids especially a dark skinned lady that always has a braid. Always catches an attitude or complains about the children when that's the whole job? How are you going to work at a daycare or childcare setting if you do not have the patience with children! Now I can't workout in peace since I'm so worried over my child will most likely cancel all 3 of my memberships here and move on to another gym.

My husband has Parkinson’s and he has been working out with a trainer named Andre. He is very patient with him. Very knowledgeable. We are thrilled with him.

I’ve been charged close to $300 to cancel this membership that I’ve only had for less than a month. $50 for enrollment, $50 for a “club enhancement” fee, $150 for a contract buyout fee, and who knows what other fees will be added on by the end of it

I enjoy this gym very much. I go early in the morning (as early as 5:30 oftentimes) and there are always lots of people here doing their thing. Usually there is a bench open but it’s nice to go to a place where so many other people are putting their health first. The gym is one of the largest I’ve been to in the area and has a good mix of ages/skill levels. Showers are clean and safe if you want to clean up before work and staff has always been friendly to me.

Very rude employees ! Tony at the front, was supposed to be helping me sign in my friend I brought as a guest ! When asking him to bill the guest fee to my account. He YELLED at me. Then Jesse proceeded to step in and raise her voice over me, when as a paying customer, I was defending myself. She did not correct Tony after he yelled at me twice ! My brother and I were completely astonished at the unprofessionalism !!

Then I came back to the front desk to get a tanning lotion, when I walked in they were talking about me, even using profanity! Then Jesse proceeded to keep threatening me to leave.

Eventually, once she stopped raising her voice and threatening me, I was finally able to point to the tanning products. I purchased a sample from Jesse. And as she said my name, Tony proceeded to say out loud “we need to go ahead and cancel that”

I pay a lot of money every month to go here, I’ve gone here for over 2 years, and have never seen such unprofessionalism ! Jesse claiming she was the GM, should have taken over when Tony started raising his voice to yell at me & my guest. She didn’t ever correct him. Then as a GM, why would u carry on and gossip about me (a paying customer)…. This was absolutely the WORST gym experience I’ve ever had. And my guest ended up leaving bc he was so embarrassed by Jesse and Tony yelling and everyone hearing them scream. He was going to sign up for a membership today, but after dealing with being verbally harassed at the front desk, just checking in, he said he would never come here !

Something needs to be done, if not I will take action myself. And post them yelling at us, and let social media know how incredibly rude and unprofessional this place is. Especially for one of the verbal harassers being a GM !

The current staffing is a huge reason you should not join this gym. I was a paying member for three years (pool included). We never had any issues at all... until this year with new staff. They break rules, instigate confrontations, and do not care about loyal, paying customers. Beware of tripping and electrical hazards at the pool with no caution signs, employees who are supposed to be cleaning the pool but are making out with someone instead, lifeguards who stay on their phone and are not properly trained, dirty diaper overfilled garbage cans, and rude employees. Owners and management are either oblivious or choose to look the other way. My original review was 5 stars and had thousands of views. I will not recommend this facility to anyone now. Opt for Complete Fitness in Brandon.

My humiliating experience once again. The regional manager retaliated on me because I reported the bias and prejudice, treatment that I was receiving from the gm. I actually went to township and aked them was there a time limit on the saunas and steam rooms she told me guest can use it as long as they wanted to the gm. As I had been doing the regional manager made a sceen in the sauna being agressive when I asked her why am I the only one with the strict 15 minute rule all of a suden. She said they have a strict 15 minute rule for the sauna which is not true, for two years I have using the sauna and lots of others without a time limit. I am the only one she is inforcing this rule on. There was another guest in the sauna the same time I was they had been in there just as long and she called me by name and asked me to step out the sauna like the police totally humiliating me in front of other guest and she told the other person that she could stay. I pointed out this was discriminatory behavior toward one person. I don't think its the club it is people who come with their own bias toward people like me with disabilities. I don't think that the owners and shareholders know how their guest are being mistreated. So I'm hopeful that they read their reviews and adress this behavior. I won't contribute to the problem by being silent and the reputation of the club goes down because of bad actors. I'm praying for all bias and prejudice behavior.

There is very little I would change about this gym, even if I could. For the price, it is far and away the best gym I have ever used. Abundant equipment and free weights, classes (I don't use them, but they have them), and it's never been so crowded I couldn't get in the workout that I wanted.

This gym fit our needs most of the time we were there. I was a member for about 4 years. The first two were pretty good. Always clean and could get a workout in easily with little issues with equipment, as I believe they replaced all the cardio equipment right before we joined.
During the last two years, things really went downhill. It smells like a musty locker room in most of the gym. The treadmill buttons are falling off. One time I even had to pull the emergency plug to get the treadmill to stop, so that’s rather hazardous. I reported this and no efforts were visibly made to fix the buttons. I’ve also found toenails/fingernails on the floor often.
One time, a drink got charged to my account, and it wasn’t my purchase. A random person charged a drink to my account. It took over TWO MONTHS to get a refund. I had to remind staff members and talk to a manager 3 different times to get the credit to my account.
My main issue is that over the last two years, they really prioritized the higher tier membership classes. It’s really a problem. They frequently reserve the entire free weights/turf area, the squat racks, or a row of treadmills for a class of a few people. These classes happen multiple times a day. It really makes going to the gym a miserable experience when you have to avoid going during those times.
Also - when terminating your membership, be careful to do this before your $50 yearly fee will apply. They will not prorate this amount for you, as my husband and I are moving away, and they would not prorate the $50 yearly fee for him even though we already cancelled his membership. He went in and asked, and they stated it was nonrefundable. I understand that policies are in place for certain charges, but this is something I thought everyone should know.
Please also be mindful that if you sign up for the $25 plan, you cannot drop down to the $10 plan. At least, that is what I was told when I tried to do so a couple of years ago.

Been here for a few months now & definitely satisfied. It’s very hard (in Mississippi) to find gyms that keep calisthenic athletes in mind & this gym has access to that without an outrageous price. Tried the other Club4’s out but there bar layout really limits training potential. Lake Harbour delivers.

& for the negative comments about the equipment I rarely see equipment down for long periods of time. Worked in gyms before & been to many gyms out of state. It’s just something that happens over time but they are usually quick to fix whatever issue. Whatever your style of training is I think this gym is the best bang for your buck & for the calisthenic athletes this gym beats all in the area.

This gym is great as far as atmosphere BUT when it comes to the business side I am highly disappointed. I joined this gym A little over a year ago. I was on a great roll up until April then BOOM! Everything was turned upside down when one of my payments didn’t go through because I totally forgot about the annual fee. There way no reminder or anything so I totally forgot to upload more funds on my account I use to pay. I would make a long story short but I won’t. My account was ran 3 times for the $2.99 transaction fee, 35.99 monthly fee, and the 49.99 annual fee. This gym hit me with 3+ NSF fees of $20 back to back! I went by the gym and was told the fees would be waived but I didn’t have my physical card so I left thinking I could pay on the app once I got to my card. Anyway the amount I was told was not matching the amount on the website. I went into the gym and spoke with the same mama her and she said the fees could no longer be waived because it shows the peak payment service had already discounted my account (which they did not and I even called and verified it with the manager that they said NOTHING was showing on my account. She still didn’t find a solution. I informed her that I did not see on the policies where my account would be ran that many times. I’m trying to understand why am I being charged 4x what my actual membership is. I have tried to contact all the people associated with their cooperate office and no one has answered the phone or returned emails. They have messed up my whole gym routine and my bill is $177 and I haven’t been able to use the facility since May. I tried to pause my account or cancel It but the manager said the account has to be made current. Hopefully this review helps reach someone that will contact me!!!

The equipment and facility were recently expanded about a year ago. They have a good number of machines for cardio and weights. You’ll find more weights and equipment here than the one in Madison. They have probably 3 of each machine so no waiting. Staff is pretty friendly.

There are several gyms within close proximity to my homeb. When deciding which gym to join, the decision could be over-whelming, but when taking into account membership cost, equipment, hours of operation, and overall quality the choice was simple. The Club 4, in Madison, is not the largest gym, but they make great use of the space given. It has a large and diverse amount of equipment, it is clean, and, with multiple locations available, it is convenient!

Terrible management and company. Previous managers had terrible communication, which costed us 8 months of automatic charges. The current managers also lack communication skills. I had to call several times and could never get anything handled. One told me I only had to pay a couple dollars to cancel my family’s membership, without telling me that we’d still be billed for this new month, so I had to pay again on top of the 8 months. I reached out to the support email and they didn’t even respond to me until AFTER I paid the money to cancel my family’s account, because they know they can’t do anything about it now. This company has terrible communication even with the new management and only cares about the money. They’ve also done this to many of my family’s friends who joined the gym. A letter to the Better Business Bureau will be submitted.

Fav gym around. I have been to Club4, Anytime, and the Crunch gyms in Hattiesburg and Petal but this is the best one in my opinion.

This is the best gym in the area. You consistently see people cleaning. There is tons of equipment, a sauna, and a childcare. They also offer classes, and they have a pool.

Love this gym. Awesome equipment and helpful people. Wish there was more "strongman" equipment like logs and yokes. But the equipment they do have is absolutely top notch.

It’s really nice here just find it odd to have to pay extra for the pool. At past gyms that had pools was always included in membership. I can understand classes costing but not a pool. To me that is like you can use the bench but the weights cost extra per month to use.
