Overall good experience, some locations apparently have better trainers than others that’s my only dig. For people with spine issues or surgeries like knee, hip, ankles and shoulders they have a problem adjusting for those issues. I am concerned at the age gap or level of experience between members of the gym that want guidance and the trainers. That’s a blind spot.

Well reason to give even 2 stars cause they have nice fitness equipments and always clean area but that’s it. Rest like nightmare. When I joined year ago all good. Staff good n all but when I requested to pause my membership & cancel my son membership they didn’t and next month they charge us both. I went almost 3 times back to back n finally they pause mine n cancel my son membership n refund for that month. But more issue rise when I went to cancel my membership they charge me $49 maintenance fee and no refund on it top of that even after cancel my membership on time they charge again monthly fee for full month. And when I ask they said it’s policy we can’t do anything. I mean never seen any fitness club that they charge after cancel membership and no refund on maintenance fee. I don’t recommend any one to go club 4 fitness club. They r charging u $10 month but other then that they wont let u go without pay full maintenance fee and 1 month extra fee even after cancel. I am very disappointed.

I love club4Fitness. I’ve been a member a very long time. I was a member when the original gym was there (Courthouse). The membership has grown this last 2 years and need more space at this location. I feel they could add a few additional machines due to certain machines are always taken (Maybe have a qty of 2 machines, preferably the quad machine). I’ve heard complaints from some members that they miss out on utilizing certain machines because it’s only 1. Also, more space for strength training. The space has been limited to where floor exercises can be performed. However, my family and I love it!! This gym has become my husband and I evening dates, (2 for 1…spend time, and staying fit together 😁, and there are days the children are there with us). The Staff is extremely friendly, and I’ll highly recommend this gym.

Great facility. clean, and good equipment. If you come between 10:00AM-2:30PM easy to transition from machine to machine. After 3:00pm there is a lot a teenagers. They tend to get in the way talking and sitting on equipment and looking at their phone.

Pretty crooked with memberships and training plans. Thought my training sessions had been canceled before a family member went in for cancer surgery. Well apparently they just paused it instead and stole $300 from me, refused to refund, and charged for another month to cancel my membership after complaining.

My experience with this gym has been disappointing. The constant fees charged to my account, coupled with poor management practices, have left me frustrated. Despite multiple requests over the course of 4 months, the gym refused to cancel my membership, demonstrating a lack of customer-centric policies. This has significantly impacted my overall satisfaction with the gym's services. Club 4 Fitness will scam you through contracts and hidden fees, therefore I will be changing my gym to Healthplex Performance Center in Madison as they offer more amenities for less fees.

I have been a member of Club4fitness for about 6 months. My honest experience is that this gym has a very reasonable price point, clean and adequate workout equipment with friendly staff. My main club is the Madison location and I go to the Ridgeland location sometimes when I get off work since my business is located in the city of Ridgeland. Overall five solid stars for both locations. Keep up with the great work.

So glad I found Club 4! The trainers and staff go above and beyond for their members. I can’t recommend this gym and especially, this team, enough. Getting to the gym is hard enough for so many people, but the atmosphere here is so welcoming and inclusive and that makes it so much easier.

I've been going to this gym 5-6 days a week, for over two years. I have never seen a broom/mop/or vacuum, nor has there been any evidence of one being used. There are consistently live and dead roaches on the gym floor. Employees never clean. Employees also do not put out the workout bands etc until about an hour after they come in. I've been to other Club4's and they have fancy cable attachments, ours are always old and near the end of their life. The only water fountain has been broken for weeks. I guess we just need to deal with that as well. It's time to find a new gym.

This Club4 facility is clean and the gym staff is friendly, but the gym is very crowded at peak times. The membership fee is as low as $10 per month + a $49 annual fee, so it is affordable to join.

They do have showers and lockers here (+ hydro massage beds and 24-hour access if you pay extra for that membership level). No pool or steam room/sauna at this Madison Club4 location.

This gym has a lot of cardio equipment and pin-loaded machines. They also have…

-3 cable towers
-3 squat racks
-3 flat barbell benches
-2 incline barbell benches
-2 sets of dumbbell racks
-1 decline barbell bench
-1 pec deck machine
-1 assisted dip / chin up machine

It can be difficult to get a bench press spot or a cable tower spot even at non-peak times. The cable towers and the assisted dip machine tend to go down fairly regularly and need maintenance.

There is a small turf area for HIIT training exercises. This area is good for doing dips, chin ups, core exercises, and stretching too.

They have pretty good physical trainers here. I’ve done workout plans with 2 of them. They charge about $35 per 30-minute lesson.

My biggest disappointment with the management of this Madison Club4 facility came when my physical training sessions were supposed to end after 3 months, I was not told upfront or at any point that they would continue to auto-draft even beyond my original 3-month commitment unless you actively cancel in the app, so I was charged for a 4th month of sessions ($144). They did not refund me the money.

I joined in October 2021. Over the past few months things at Club4 have progressively gone down hill. It was nice when I started and I had so much hope that I could get my goals accomplished here. Unfortunately the equipment is just not up to par. The ropes for the cable machines are falling apart, the mats are worn out, some of the rubber weights are ripped, and a lot of the equipment is out of order. The equipment is so close together that it is hard to actually workout or lift without worrying you’ll hit someone else. It is just very uncomfortably crowded. With people and equipment. Employees are hanging out with each other on the floor instead of helping people who need the help. I love the gym but chose to leave.

My initial interaction with this club was good. The fitness director, Mike Taylor, was knowledgeable and concerned as I am disabled and trying to walk again.

When he transferred to Starkville, everything went south. The first trainer they had work with me tried to have me do things that are biomechanically impossible for me to do.

Ty then took over and immediately cancelled my two sessions after he had worked with me once. He cancelled them the day of the sessions and never offered anyone to step in.

I declined to sign up the next month and paid the “cancellation fee”. My credit card company has agreed that I have paid in full. The credit has hit my card but the “billing company” continues to ask me to pay.

I would stay far away from this company! I was paying about $265/month for 2 sessions a week of 30 minutes. That’s 4 hours a month for about $265.00. Stay away!

The gym is very clean. There is always someone there to help you. The Hydro beds are great for muscle and joint aches.

Mike Taylor is the trainer I use. I have had really good results with Mike. Keeping me motivated is very hard to do and Mike has done this. A trainer is certainly the best way for me to get results.

Club4Fitness Madison has a very large building but somehow has an incredibly small area to lift weights.
When they moved to the new location, I got excited because it was a bigger building and the old location was also cramped and small.

Working out there is hard and frustrating because it is so cramped. All they would have to do is rearrange the equipment and get rid of the excessively large waiting area. To make matters worse, the manager there, Bea Hearst, is hard to talk to and rarely, if ever, solves problems.
