I’ve only been a member about 4 months now and since month one it has been a complete hassle getting in the door. The apps to scan do not work… they gave a keychain card to scan but only works at 1 location. $80 a month to never getting in unless somone else already inside opens the door. Almost every interaction with an employee has been unpleasant.. attitudes. Then blaming myself and people on our membership that we aren’t scanning or using the app correctly to get in.

I love the core the staff is and helping you find whatever you need but however the gym could take a little bit cleaning up in the bathroom instead of painting over the toilet seats they could replace them up in the ceiling in the bathroom it's full of Caldwell

The staff is friendly and helpful, & there is a variety of equipment for all who use the facility. The gym is kept clean, neat and organized. I would highly recommend Core to anyone who is looking for a gym whether they are a beginner or advanced in their fitness journey!

I have been going to the Core for over 5 years! It is by far the nicest and CLEANEST Gym in town! All of the employees are so easy to work with and can help assist anyone with any machine. There isn’t another gym in the GTA that would even come close to The Core.

The Core is one the best gyms in the golden triangle and not to mention convenient. The atmosphere is welcoming and well organized. The staff is very personal and professional. My family uses the Core frequently and is extremely satisfied with all that it has to offer.

The staff are super helpful and nice. But the building and facilities are not very clean and the tanning beds don't work good at all. Also the indoor exercise pool has no water.

Three days in my new membership, a so called manager enters the sauna to tell me In the most nastiest way, " theirs a once a day rule use on the sauna". Clearly a lie because, the sign say max time per use is 20 minutes. I asked for my money back and she refused. Clearly another lie because, nowhere posted and or in the one page contact verifies what she stated. I spoke to the owner and, he apologized for the behavior of his subordinate and stated the manager made an grave error. Owner never stated I was banned and not to return. The owner "seemed" to value me as an customer. I returned later that day. I use my card to enter the building and was told that I couldn't use the service I paid for. The manager "Karen" instructed the person to tell me I couldn't use the gym and called the police.

Edit: Since my old review, the gym added a back room with bumper plates and extra squat racks, this vastly improved my gym going experience there. Thanks for listening! This gym meets all my needs and now has a great setup for working out.

Previous review: This gym gives an overall good environment to work out in and has great patrons. However, they only have one squat rack and one normal bench, both of which which are in high demand. Often times you will have to wait 15 to 20 minutes to use them during peak hours. They could also use a platform for deadlifting. The staff is friendly and helpful.
