5 years later, Maintenance and Cleanliness is nonexistent at this gym. Bathroom is disgusting and reeks of urine. Staff has sign on urinal but does nothing about smell. Theres been times when lights and broken equipment haven't worked for months at a time. Most staff I see does nothing but sit on there phone behind desk. There is one exception not sure of girls name but she works early shift, ahe works hard but it takes a team to run a business. Not sure why this business can't get an electrician or plumber in there in a timely manner. This gym only does well bc its the only chain gym in Petal...

Nice gym, great place to workout but they don't clean the showers/ restrooms. I've complained about this before, of course they cleaned it after that but consistency is not existence. Employee even told me management has no accountability. Which I see. Its manned 24hrs so there is no excuse. Been in there before where the worker was asleep the whole hour and half I was in there. Rarely see them cleaning.

0/10 do not recommend. If i could give negative stars I would. They finally canceled my policy after months of telling me they couldn’t cancel because of my balance. It took months of me sending them letters explaining that i was unable to use the membership anymore because of medical reasons and could not pay at the moment due to my cut in hrs. I explained many times I was willing to pay in the future or as I received the money but they refused continuously. Do not join this gym. Crunch is not run by honest individuals. For the life of me I will never understand how moral bankruptcy someone has to be to lie to people repeatedly. Scary world we live in.

They were so helpful. This curly headed guy was the absolute best and full-filled all of my needs. He’s a personal trainer and the workouts were great. He really knows how to workout every spot. I 100% recommend him to anyone who is having a tough time.

I totally enjoy going to this gym. They have a little something for everyone. It is easy to get in and out. Even when there are multiple people in the gym, everyone is super courteous. There are some slight annoyances. Like people talking with headphones on (very loud), people not wiping down their equipment after use, people who come in and lay weights everywhere, people who walk around in socks. There's literally a sign on the wall that say wear shoes! Just nasty. You have an array of people that attend. You have the weirdos, the nerds, the meat heads, and then the nakeds. 😆 I'm sure you can find somewhere you fit in. I'm more of the nerdy, non talkative. I may nod at you, if I even look up. Regardless its an amazing place to work out. Sometimes the music is kinda off, but you can always ask and the staff at the counter turn into DJs or just being earbuds. They are amazing!!! The staff is nice. The facility is very clean and organized. They have showers and dressing rooms with lockers. If you need to tan there are stand up and regular beds. They even have a hydro massage bed. The prices are great! With some memberships they allow you to bring a guest each day. Its amazing. With us having to open the bakery each day its nice to have options of time and locations. I am appreciative of this place. Working out and learning to eat appropriately I've gone from 258 to 167. There's been some highs and lows, but they have everything you need to get back on track! I totally recommend!!!

I just cancel my subscription. I been here for at least 15 years if not more. Is been over a year I haven't come since my dad died last year. Subscription went up I didn't know I was paying more is ok i dont recall. I came with my mother because it was 20 plus a guess. Even las year I was coming with my friend at the beginning. I ask the lady if I can just get in just for this time with my mother and she just refuse I felt discriminated am pretty sure the system shows the entrys is been a while I didn't know it had gone up for bringing a guest. I try to pay but I didn't came prepare no cash no card nothing I try to do it with my phone but there is no tap system. It was not going to hurt to allow it this one time while I updated my info. It really felt it was more of racist issue more than anything else. I had had favors in the past for x or y reason. And she.... what ever is lame to have that attitude with custumers who have years way before back they open the one in petal

Since I’ve been stationed here in Mississippi petal crunch has some of the most rudest people ever they are racist and make snide facial expressions at me and my wife. They are have an amazing Hydrobed, makes you feel fantastic. They also have tanning beds, which makes a fit for every tanning need. They have stand up and lay down.
A great variety of different machines so you can get in any workout needed. Miles of cardio!!

Gym is nice enough. Signup was easy. We came in on a special day of the month when they had food and stuff so that was cool.

One thing that wasn’t made very clear was the annual fee that would come out. They claim we agreed to it but my wife and I didn’t recall it.

We cancelled shortly after signing up due to just not having the willpower to get up and go regularly. Even after cancelling a couple months in they still took the $40 annual fee out for both of us which I thought was kinda bleh.

I live for the gym, and the Petal Crunch has been a second home for me for many years now. I am an everyday customer of Crunch and I love how every time I come in, the associates know who I am and what I want; they acknowledge that I am very serious when I step into the gym, and they make sure that they can do the best they can for whatever circumstance.
If I were to have to say something that I am not so happy with sometimes is just that during the afternoons, the gym is absolutely crowded and I feel like I can’t really get as hard as a workout that I would have liked to; but it’s a small town with a lot of people so that is the price to be paid.

The staff is great i have used this gym regularly about 5 to 6 days a week. The maintenance on the cardio equipment is severely lacking. I have told staff about the loose belts on the treadmills when attempting to run and also when you try to increase the speed most of them do not speed up. They tell me I'm not the only customer who has brought this up. After going to the crunch in Hattiesburg the petal gym gets all of the used and abused equipment and the hand me downs. If the treadmills don't get fixed someone will have a serious injury and they owner will wish he took the time to fix the equipment because it was all preventable maintenance that needed to be done. For everyone that likes to run on treadmills take cautions as they are behind on maintenance and you will be subject to serious injury.
