Signed up online for a free week-long trial (easy!). Tried to cancel (hard!). I emailed the gym and was told I needed to cancel in person. Went by twice, during operating hours, and no one was at the front desk to let me in. I called twice and no one answered. When I was FINALLY able to catch someone at the front desk, I was told that since I didn’t cancel in time, I would be charged $40. I live 40 minutes away and feel totally taken advantage of. I went to Planet Fitness the same day I was finally able to cancel, and signed up within 30 minutes after a personalized tour.

I'm not a member but I happen to be charging at good old Tesla 200 ft away. It was 2am and no one was there to answer the phone or open the door. Most Tesla owners have anywhere between 10 min to 50 min to wait for a charge. In the meantime while charging, we would love to have access at minimum a restroom..

Hello my name is Quashaundre Blanks I just started my membership today as of March 03, 2025 online. I went the same day after I signed up to get scanned in and a tour of the Meridian,MS site. The whole time I was there I was up from with a young lady feeling out the paperwork once we have completed she gave me a tour around as we walked together. She was with me the whole time the reason that I am making that statement is due to after a hour of me being there I've received a called from Fitness Depot the Meridian,MS site falsely accusing me of taking a cell phone while I was at the location. However I was with a staff member the whole time and when I began to ask questions I was informed that I can't use the facility anytime after hours and was rudely hung up on as I was trying to get information. So I drove back to the site to get some type of answers and was rudely talked to by the employees there and no one could show me any proof or give me any information.

Let's face it, every gym is basically the same. Weights to lift, treadmills to run on, etc. Sure the "feel" is different at every gym but if you're looking for the right "feel" then you're not going to the gym for the right reason.
Once you understand Rome wasn't built in a day, those big bulging bicep guys are probably juicing and you can't expect results in a week then maybe, just maybe, you'll figure out Fitness Depot is a great gym.
Lots of equipment to use, lots of elbow room and you can enjoy the music overhead or watch one of many tvs scattered about.
With 24/7 access you can go when YOU want to go and with really cheap dues; now you have no more excuses.

Get off the couch and LIVE!💪🏻!

So far love the gym only issue is I felt unsafe one night with two other gym goers who weren’t really working out in my opinion thankfully there was someone else and more people came in as I was walking out to my car those two said goers were right behind me which I thought was weird because I was already in the gym for two hours and they probably got there 35 minutes before I was ending my workout if possible to have a security guard or the cops just patrol every hour would make females feel safer leaving if they are by themselves especially people who prefer going later in the night

The mornings are very laid back and quiet. Idk about any other time. They don't have the gym distanced socially, so space out at your own discretion.

My grandson rarely misses a day here…. Loves the huge facility and the amenities and equipment. He recently has been getting here after dark and the parking lot is PITCH BLACK!!! There are NO lights in the entire parking area that’s designated for FD members and it’s not only creepy but UNSAFE! Even with my headlights on it’s hard to see the cars that are already parked, especially the dark colored ones. There are many young and old men and women who walk out alone…just saying TURN THE DANG LIGHTS ON!!!!!!

The fingerprint thing angers me. I don’t go during staff hours due to work but there are days when I have to sit outside just praying that my fingerprint works that day! Other people have had similar complaints. It’s really one of my main complaints. Just imagine it’s dark out and the preworkout is hitting and you can’t even workout and you’re all itchy and frustrated!!!! i like the security aspect and all but that machine to get in makes me not want to go because my finger might not work that day. One star just because of that.

Joined after a 1st class tour and briefing of all that Fitness Depot offers. Staff on Duty was Chris. Very professional and well versed in all of the equipment and facilities features. Great representative for the facility. Great first impression and salesman.

I love this gym, best one I have signed up for so far. 24 feature was 100% the best part; I worked night shift so the hours I went varied between 5pm to 5am most days, but facilities were clean and had plenty of spray bottles and napkins to clean workout stations. Loved the variety of equipment that had, even and indoor track (I believe it was a 1/8 mile? I wished I had been able to use the extra accommodations they have, like the hydro massage, but again my hours did not let me. The only nitpicking I have is there entry system, it's a finger print which isn't super health safe, just a lot of people touch it is all, and mine ended up never working, but thankfully they let me use a code access since it was hard for me to walk in during normal hours people were there. Overall would recommend if you're looking for a place to get gains! There's enough space and equipment tat even when it gets busy you'll have something or somewhere else to workout at 👌

This is a hidden gem in Meridian! The gym is clean and never packed, which makes grinding out a workout so enjoyable. I was surprised by the amount of equipment and how spacious the facility was. The staff is also very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Definitely recommending this facility to anyone who listens.

I totally enjoyed how easy it was to start up a membership. So, so many different pieces of equipment and such a spacious area. BUT!!!!! When it came to moving and closing my membership, now that's a whole new world in its own. After many times of telling different employees that I was leaving I still got charged month after month. Yes $20.00 is not a BIG deal but when it came to the upgrade fees. Now that totally sucked. So be careful of this, otherwise enjoy your workout.

We visited this facility for future use as we proceed in bringing the “Celtic warrior challenge” to meridian!! We are so stoked about this event and the approval of city council to use Bonita Lakes! Such a beautiful area and can’t say enough about the tour of this gym! I so wish we had one like this in our area! True loved the layout and spacious environment filled with some amazing equipment! I enjoyed working out here during the time I was here. I am extremely disappointed at how difficult it is to cancel a membership. I gave them a notice two months ago and they continue to charge my card for monthly fees. My 1 year membership ended in November and I told them to cancel it that month. A month went by and another charge showed up on my card and I went in again asking them to and they said it is now canceled. Then at the start of this month I was charged again. I talked to them with the repose being we don't have proof of you coming in and canceling it because whoever was working before did not give me any paperwork to fill out to cancel.
