Frustrating experience at the gym.

I attempted to cancel my membership due to personal reasons, but the front desk staff suggested freezing my account instead. They assured me I could still work out until September 14, as I had paid until then. However, on September 5, a helpdesk member interrupted my workout, stating that I wasn't allowed to use the facilities since my account was frozen. They offered a day pass for $10, which I purchased.

I'm confused and upset because, I was allowed to work out for a week after freezing my account and The staff didn't stop me from entering the gym despite knowing my account status. The conflicting information caused inconvenience and spoiled my day very badly. You guys made me very uncomfortable.

I request that you: Clarify your policies and procedures, Train your employees to communicate effectively with customers, Ensure consistent enforcement of rules and regulations.

Gluckstadt Fitness is the best gym around. I’ve been at this facility since 2017 through all of the changes and i’m so very grateful for Owners/Leaders who pour into not only the gym community but all of the people in their reach. I cannot say enough good things about Gluckstadt Fitness. I’ve been using them for about 2 years and there’s so much there to do. Fitness classes, free weights, trainers, tanning room, etc. My favorite is that it’s 24 hours so we can come in at our convenience. Keep doing what you’re doing GF! ♥️

As someone who has always struggled with their relationship with a gym, joining this one has been the best decision I’ve ever made! It’s always so clean, there’s always fresh towels, and the employees are so nice and helpful!

Emme is the best trainer I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I meet with her once a week, and her encouragement helps keep me accountable with going! I’ve had previous injuries and she even tailored my workouts to accommodate them.

We love Gluckstadt Fitness and have nothing but good things to say about this gym!! We have tried other gyms and nothing comes close to Gluckstadt Fitness. The gym is always clean, has the nicest/friendliest staff, has tons of equipment, and just an overall positive environment. We also LOVE the childcare that is provided. This has been one of the biggest blessing for my husband and I. The girls in there are always so sweet with our daughter and take the best care of her🤍 We cannot imagine being members anywhere else and highly recommend you try it!!!

By far the nicest gym I’ve been to in the Jackson metro area. Always clean and orderly. I go 6 days a week and every time I’m there it seems one of the staff is walking around cleaning or vacuuming or refreshing the towel rack. And the variety and quality of machines and weights is way ahead of the other gyms I’ve been to, including the ones I frequent in Texas when traveling.

Gym equipment is adequate. Workout during the slow hours and it’s great. However, staff here do not enforce rules. Saturday and Sunday mornings are the worse. Equipment not racked, towels and trash strewn around the gym. Not to mention the “no shoes in sauna” is not enforced. Lot of people use the sauna with shoes on. Do you know how many germs and diseases are under someone’s shoes? Please remind the members to follow the rules or, like how y’all use to do, increase their premium.

I have been a member of Gluckstadt Fitness going on a year now but sadly it must come to an end as I am moving out of state. :(

For anyone considering a great gym, with great people, and great staff, Gluckstadt fitness is the place to go.

The amounts of equipment they have to offer seems almost unlimited. I would highly recommend stopping by and taking a look for yourself.

I love Starke Fitness! Definitely the best gym in the area! Austin and Courtney were great, extremely informative and willing to help! Starke has classes for all levels of fitness and just about any time so you can fit them in your schedule. The daycare is perfect and run very well. They also offer apparel, supplements, and accessories. The only reason I do not continue to use this facility is that I moved an hour away. Still tempted to make the drive though, if that tells you how great this place is!

Lee and Andy have built one of the best fitness facilities in the state of Mississippi. Nice gym but poor business practices. Advertised 19.99 a month but when I went in it was 29.99. A year later there was supposedly a decline on my recurring payment so I was charged a service fee. No one contacted me. When I called I was told monthly fee was now 19.99 did I want to lower mine. I canceled. Oh but there’s a 30 day notice so have to pay another month.

Very impressed so far with this gym! Very clean, and that's a priority for this gym. I am a mom of three kids not in good shape but I feel welcome here. Working with personal trainer Bekah and she is beyond awesome! She pushes me but isn't intimidating or doesn't make me feel bad because I'm dying!!! Would highly recommend this gym! It's also nice that it is open 24 hours so if I want privacy I can go later.

I have been a member of Starke Fitness since day 1. The facility is top notch. Everything is kept very clean from the gym floor to the locker rooms. The majority of the weight equipment is Hammer Strength which has been proven to be some of the best equipment in the industry. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I absolutely love that it is a 24 hour facility! I have met so many awesome people at Starke and I feel right at home every time I walk through those front doors. Been working out at Starke since the beginning of 2018. Work out 3 mornings a week with a trainer on staff. I have had a great experience. Friendly members and staff. Great location and operation hours. I can’t speak for the heavy lifters, but for a woman just trying to be healthy and get in a few workouts a week, I am more than pleased with the facility. Friends that attend the workout classes speak very highly of the instructors as well.
