Definitely 5 stars. I travel for work and have been to several HOTWORX locations. This one is super clean and they clearly care about their business. They have a good number of saunas and all the equipment needed to keep you going. Only downside is that their vending machine was out of order, which meant that I couldn't do any sauna workouts as I rely on renting the mat and equipment when I travel. Please Think of us travelers and maybe have a couple of locker keys available?

I am from Austin, TX and have been a Hotworx “Sweat Anywhere” member for about 6 months. I was visiting for Thanksgiving and was so incredibly impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. I have visited over 8 different Hotworx locations and this was, by far, the best I’ve been to. It smelled so clean and fresh in the building, the bathrooms and saunas were spotless, and they had beautiful merch presentations and holiday decor. I wish my home hotworx was this great! Thanks for giving me a place to workout on Thanksgiving week! Thankful for Hotworx!

I loved to workout here, but came to a point in my life where I couldn't afford it anymore. After being a member for almost a year and a half, you would think some grace would be offered at cancellation, considering the amount of money I have poured into this institution, however, HOTWORX makes it so difficult to cancel. instead of being able to outright cancel, you either have to pay for 2 months up front, or a $99 cancellation fee. All I am saying, is if you are considering getting a membership here, think carefully about your choice. Things happen. Life happens. And HOTWORX does not care about you or your financial situation, all you are is money to them. I will add that the one in Madison seems to be more sensitive to people, and their situations. Having been a member of both locations, Madison treats you like family, as opposed to money.

As someone who has always dreaded working out or going to the gym, I absolutely love hotworx and have been almost every day since joining. The infrared sauna keeps me from getting too sore after working out, which makes it so much easier to stick with than a traditional workout regimen. Such a great way to stay healthy and relieve stress!

Double payment details for joining!

This review is purely for their joining policy, nothing to do with the faciity or staff. The staff have been very courteous. When I decided to join after the free initial session they offer, then came a curve ball. They need 2 different payment details citing if one is not working/expires. This is a ridiculous policy of them. I don't know about others, but my bank details should be accessible only to IRS other than myself and my Bank. And coupled with the fine print that nobody ever reads before/after signing the agreement, it's only a recipe for disaster later!! Thank you but no thanks HOTWORX!!

My underage daughter went to the gym and reinstated the membership herself and used a bank card that had only $25 on it. I called to tell them that I came out membership last year and they shouldn’t have reinstated without my permission. They admitted fault but said we still have to pay to cancel. They need to cancel because you can’t make a contract with a minor. This is in Florence Ms.

I have traveled from Florida and experienced some of the best gyms in the south. This one is far from it. My expectations of the gym based on the price were completely unmet and the size of the gym is disappointing. I would rather workout in a field. It’s simply pathetic. Toxic atmosphere and near pointless equipment.

HotWorx is probably my favorite part of every day. The combination of exercise, the infrared sauna heat, and the (potential for) a quiet space helps me feel so much better, and not just physically. The mental and emotional health boost I get in the sauna - and all day afterwards! - is really fantastic!

Beware! Be sure to read the user agreement that they have you sign without explaining.(They later send you a copy to your email "for your review" after you've signed it). Just an FYI, if you cancel after your 90 day commitment period you will be charged a $100 cancelation fee even in the middle of a pandemic that prohibits you from safely going to the gym because you have an underlying health condition. And if you call to discuss it, the manager/owner will attempt to berate you, discount your point of view, and say things like, "You go to the grocery store, don't you?!?"

My initial plan was to reinstate my membership once it was safe for me and I had clearance from my physician. Now I would NEVER even entertain the thought. I'll take my money to Club4!

Update in response to the the owner's reply:
When I called to place my account on hold, the cancelation policy was not even mentioned, let alone explained. Nor was it mentioned when I initially signed up. I was only told that there would be additional charges if I didn't finish the 90 day commitment period (which I did). Again, that is my fault because I should have sat there with your electronic tablet and read every single word before signing up. Also, I wasnt even given the opportunity to "mention an underlying health conditon" before being belittled for "going to the grocery store and gas station" (not quite sure why you would assume that I don't have someone to run errands for me).
I will definitely find another establishment that respects me as a paying customer.
