I've been a member over 30 years and love the place, but can't recommend it any longer. The biggest issue is repairs (or lack thereof). The AC has been awful for over a month and the response from the gym has been to put up signs basically saying don't ask about it. With the Merit takeover, repairs take forever to get done and equipment is very slow to get replaced/updated. If the pool/hot tub/sauna/whatever goes down (and they do frequently as the gym is older now), repairs take an inordinate amount of time. Also, the pool is lovely, but they've given over peak hours to swim teams which paired with them still not opening on Sundays (done for Covid cleaning no longer needed) means the pool is only usable 3-4 days a week at peak times. Love the people, hate the corporate rigamarole (and lack of pool time). I can get over the swim team stuff, but no five stars until repairs start happening more regularly and they bring back Sunday hours.

Great facility with good classes for all ages. Especially Love the pool, hot pool, whirlpool, sauna & steam room. Facilities are kept very clean & towels are always available. Great hours!

its a hit or miss with admin if they will be nice and some nurses depending on the shift they've had will take it out on everyone. That's just the ER though. BUT the maternity unit is outstanding. The nurse team on that unit treats you with nothing but respect and kindness. also the radiology department are all sweethearts as well.

Physical therapy center, they were very caring and took their time with me to ensure not to irritate the damage area any farther, but showed me ways to stretch and strengthen the weaker areas.

I've been a member of this gym for over 2 years but I rarely go because some of the equipment needs to be replaced. I use this gym mainly for leg day. The leg extension and leg curl machines are very hard to use In comparison to other gyms I've used. The equipment is very outdated.

There are so many fitness opportunities included at the Merit Health Wellness Center. The gym includes a free weight area, machines, two basketball courts with sliding dividers, punching bags, balance equipment, bands, steps, yoga balls, basketballs, and more. There are racquetball courts, an aerobics room, a spin room, cardio room, personal trainers, a dietician, massages, both dry and wet suanas, locker rooms, showers, hot tubs, a heated therapy pool with jets, and a lap pool. At least a dozen different classes are included in a monthly membership, such as multiple swimming and water aerobics classes, dance and zumba classes, HIIT fitness, core strength training, yoga, mindful movement, balance, karate, and more. Everything from light-intensity chair aerobics to HIGH fitness. I hear that seniors have their membership covered by health insurance, and even for a single adult, the price is very reasonable for all that is included. Really glad to have this resource available to me.

I was a member here for over 2 years and the last 6 months they decided to charge me for 3 months all at once on 2 occasions with the last one being without my permission. Do not trust this staff with your personal information

Love all the opportunities that the Merit Health Wellness Center offers! Pool, lap swimming is my favorite. The convenience of being able to swim laps at any time of the day. I also love the hot tub. Hair dryers, towels provided all make Merit Health my weekly workout destination! We are more than blessed to have this fabulous facility!!

Staff was super nice and helpful. The girls at the desk are angels. So sweet and understanding. They have all kinds of stuff there too. The gym has free weights and machines. There are separate rooms for cardio and spin bikes. They offer super fun classes.
They have a lap pool and therapy pool, both heated. The locker rooms have a hot tub, sauna, steam room and showers.
They have racquet ball and baskets ball courts. Ping pong and pickle ball too.
They have a dietician who was very educated and helpful. A massage therapist and a cardiac rehabilitation center.
The personal trainers are my favorite part. It's not expensive and every workout is tailored to you and your goals. Shout out to Joshua! He is an amazing trainer 😍 and really cute.
I know this was a long review but this place is worth it. And Im a picky person.
