This gym needs to do better. Pretty much the same 5am crew is here waiting to get inside. They are usually open on time, but have been slacking lately, including the weekends and they don’t open until 7am then. This is ridiculous to the early risers. Per previous employees, they can’t keep good staff because they don’t want to pay. Give them a raise, please. We need this gym to stay here.

Day 2 - Monday 11/17/25 made it here at 5:08 am and they are CLOSED again! Another ridiculous situation and it’s plenty of people out here waiting to get our day started.

I've been with Planet Fitness for i know over 5 years. I have transfered to another location due you not opening up on time because I have to be at work by 6am. Even though this is closer to my house. I transfered back here in hopes that it has gotten better. It is 5:20am and still nobody has made it here to open up. Members has left due to this. People have started their workout are outside. This is really bad business and I believe im gonna have find another gym to go too. I do have a video and pictures of this. This is a inconvenience to your members that has to be at work early especially since you not 24 hours anymore. I left a review awhile ago, and was asked to take down and they called and apologize but i see nothing has changed. WHAT A WASTE, I got to go to woek now.

I have been to 8 Planet Fitness gyms across 3 States, and this by far has been the BEST one! It has all the equipment and even the leg curl I've been looking for and haven't found at any other PF. The 2 reasons that it lost a star is because the 30 minute workout was not in a room, and the equipment wasn't even yellow. It was the regular purple equipment just with a yellow banner, and the "section" on the floor was blended into everything else, so if it was your 1st time, you wouldn't even know. Also, the area outside is VERY questionable. Just make sure to be aware of your surroundings and do not leave anything in the car. Other than that, it was a great experience and workout!

Due to being on the road for work, I have experienced the ups and downs of Planet Fitness. I must say this PF has climbed to the top of my list. The shower was the best part. The shower head was large enough to soak my body and the water pressure and temperature were both great. A calming shower to wash away the busy day. This PF was clean and clear. I appreciate their service and upkeep. Great job team👏🏾.

honestly have had issues in the past. From it being clean, the staff being rude, people dressed inappropriately. No I spoke to managers in the past who made corrections but I still decided to take a break from this location. However my visit last week was oh sooooo 10/10 would recommend!! The young lady at the desk was sooooiooooo very kind. The equipment was all clean. It was new equipment! The bathroom was very clean and smelled good. I was so proud! I can’t wait to return because this is my preferred location because it is in my neighborhood.

New to the whole gym thing, so took advantage of a $1 monthly membership. Glad I did. Great place for newbies like myself. Highly recommend the Black Card Membership. The HydroMassage, Total Body Enhancement, and Tanning Booths/Beds, along with massage chairs, and lots of other perks are most definitely worth it.

As CDL driver with 18 wheeler every other day i stopping for my workout, Jackson in MS is one of my favorite spots cross US. Today I came again and during my stay over 2 hours I saw Mr. LS from front desk moving around cleaning, check the equipment everywhere if will be contest the most efficient employee in the PF network Mr. LS will probably win the competition. Other employees are occupied and busy as well. Thx you for great experiences. Also I had almost heart attack when I saw from gym parking next to me fire department, due the fact my load is 40000 lbs of corrosive hazmat and I was scared that sometimes wrong with my load, thank to God fire men came to gym work out! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The staff greeted me! It was clean and empty… sad thing is I saw an old YT man use the bathroom and walk out without washing his hands and start working out… MAKE SURE TO WIPE DOWN THE MACHINES BEFORE YOU WORKOUT!

I currently go here. It’s pretty much a free for all. No one puts weights away, so you never know if a machine is in use. When you think there is one open, it was actually taken by someone doing super sets. People will soak a machine with the spray bottle after using the machine and not wipe it down. Gross. Personal trainers will train 3 people on a machine for over an hour. It’s the closest gym to me, but pretty much trash. Essentially do as you please, don’t folllow any rule.

There have been some major upgrades since the last time I was here. the atmosphere was encouraging, bright and welcoming. I especially like the new fan feature, and how you can change your speed and incline from the hand rails on the treadmills. I am so excited to be back!!

Wonderful gym and excellent staff. It's as if Jackson Athletic Club went franchise. $25 a month gets you showers, surveillance, message chairs, and at least two of everything. Don't let social media make you waste your money. Real athletes, coaches, and everyone in between agree we're proud of anyone that can show up and do something. They won't cancel my account. I have sent a letter requesting cancelation. They did not cancel. I've called twice to cancel. They won't cancel. They said I should send another letter or come in person (which I cannot, because I've moved). Ridiculous. I've resorted to paying $30 to stop payment on the account. I usually go to the Planet Fitness on I55, Jackson but occasionally the one on Lake Harbor. The workers are nice. The equipment is fine and the bathrooms are clean. Plus one manager let me come in and tan even though they were about to close. (I didn't know they closed early on Sundays.) I also like it because I've traveled to Dallas TX and to Mobile AL and found a convenient place at both locations to utilize while out of town.

I tried to cancel my membership several years ago by email and was told I could not without coming in or writing a letter and given a 3 month no pay agreement online in response to my email. We do not live in the Flintstones Era yet you are not allowed to cancel by email. You are required to come in or write a letter. Do not join if they can take your bank account and app info online for automatic payment for membership but cannot cancel as easily. A rip off.

I was driving through Jackson and stopped. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gym is well laid out. I really like the showers. They always have hot water and have room to put one's toiletries while showering. The sinks have this weird waving design which makes it hard to hold my facewash while washing my face.

Went to sign my wife and myself up and the guy behind the desk said to use the app. The app however doesn’t allow you to sign up a family and do billing to one person. I went there in person twice. I asked to do the paperwork there. Use the app. Upgrade to the black card. No thanks. Not going back a third time.
