i think the location is overall good, however, the female that was working Tuesday morning needs ro understandthe meaning of being a human. i had been considering joining this location. but the last 2 times i had stoppedin there i was treated extremely poor. she jumped to conclusions and made poor assumptions about me. i understand her having the right to stand behind policies set forth by Planet fitness, that being said, i believe when a company becomes so large or doesn't take into account the human element. i asked to use the restroom and was told i wpuld have to pay for a day pass for $20. Im sorry i, or anyone else that has been discriminated against to like this, should have been allowed to use their facilities. i was denied and left. it was then, that i was alerted the police were called on me. i was being accused of harassment. that never happened. i simply was not going to pay $20 to use the restroom. thats not harassment. i spoke to OSPD and was informed that i now was trespassed by planet fitness. i find that appalling, but ok, i definitely would be cautious signing up for a membership at this location.

Most nasty pf in my experience and this is the 8th one I've been to.

You can tell right off that the equipment is second rate. They still have the Lunk alarm which all the more up to date gyms have removed.

I tried the place on a Sunday. Maybe the staff are more helpful on a work day, but I should have stayed in the hotel and used the teeny fitness center.

wow. this is the only planet fitness that hold the scanner for you and welcome you by your name. so far i been in a planet fitness in jacksonville fl, orlando fl ,summerville sc moncks corner, sc , north charleston sc tampa fl and still i was was very impress about this planet fitness and their staff. i dont know if they always do it but this is my first time coming to this location. I Love the Ocean Springs Planet Fitness soo much!
When I Joined 2 years ago, I was as Big asa House! I Had a lot of stress in my life and All I could do was Eat. I could Barely fit through the Double-Doors to get Inside ... it was that bad!

nobody ever laughed at me or made fun of me-so that was good, even when they had to come around the counter to Hold Both Doors Open for me ... I was that big

I Thought it would be Good to work out some to Loose all that weight, but it turned out to be just more stress..
so now I just go and sit in the message chairs and do the tanning and hydrotherapy ... and it is enough where it calms me down so It curbs my eating ...

People wonder how I Lost All That Weight and cant believe I havent been working out on the weights and that, and I just tell em, No. I just go and sit in the message chairs and tan and hydrotherapy everyday and it melts all the stress away, and I Don't Need to eat soo much!
that in MY case, my weight was from Stress

Plus the place is so nice and clean!
I been all-over this country to Planet Fitness, and Ocean Springs is THE BEST!

Johanna runs a real tight ship and everything is always neat and tidy and it Never smells like Feet! (like in Other clubs)... and people are always Real Nice to Me and never yell at Me because Im just a crazy old white man that wears purple crock shoes to hydro, tan and sit in the message chairs everyday and drink Gatoraide and watch those pretty Earth pictures on the Tv ...

One thing I would like, is if the company can come and finally Fix that pesky steam room in the mens locker room... Id sure like to use it, It would Save me a lot of money from havin to pay $30 a session at a Casino spa ... It would help keep me out of the casinos and away from the buffets too...

One unusual thing about this location is this is the first PF I’ve been to that does NOT have a dedicated 30 minute exercise area with the stair steps and exercise machines, there is a dark room off to the side where this could be but they’ve chosen to put additional treadmills and stair steppers in there

We have been traveling the US for a while and decided to get a membership with planet fitness to work out & shower during that time.
We started at pf Ocean Springs and could not have picked a better place.
Joanna was super helpful, found a solution for everything (for example when German phones wouldn't accept the app) and professionally introduced us to their machines and equipment. Everything was clean and well taken care of.

Well they promote $10/mth, until you get in there. Then you find out it's three (3) very basic benefits, plus an enrollment AND annual fee for $50 each. You still have access to a trainer, but can only goto the fitness center where you enrolled!

Then there's the "Black Card" membership for $25/mth, $1 enrollment and $50 annual fee. However, you can goto their locations nationwide, have access to red light therapy (total body enhancement) they call it, tanning booth(s), hydro back massage chairs, regular massage chairs, and a few others!

They advised me to check back often, since the offers "change daily," per the employee Camron.

I normally go to planet fitness in Mobile where they are almost always clean. I have been to this planet fitness a few times and each time I go this place is dirty. The tanning boots are not cleaned, some of the tanning beds have up to 12 bulbs out them. Paid members expect for management to make sure that their employees are doing their jobs not just standing behind the counter. The equipment needs repairs also.

This place is gross. They keep the machines fairly clean, but neglect the floor especially in the corners and under free weights and machines. There are hair tumble weed rolling everywhere and across your mat while you're exercising and stretching. The showers are even worse. I bring sandals to wear in the bathroom and shower and it's just gross. The tanning rooms are just as bad.I would have thought that in an area this nice, they'd take more care.

Decided to get a local black card membership due to me having to travel for work. Paid for membership 3 months along with the annual fee, was NEVER able to go into any locations due to not being close enough to my work locations. Upon canceling my member ship 3 days prior, I still got charged for another month, and am STILL UNABLE to find a location close enough to even use it. Asked about getting a refund of my $25.00 and they said due to not giving enough notice they still had the right to charge due to my contract. A.K.A. “The fine print” Would think that they would have seen I was unable to log into any location and paid 4 months plus yearly renewal fee that they would be kind enough to refund my money. But of course, the contract stated so they would not refund.
Advise everyone to read their agreements all the way through.
