Also kinda wish they had a smaller location in Batesville, ms because I live in between Batesville n Oxford n go to Batesville about half of the time and there are probably a lot of Seniors who are on Silver sneakers who can’t afford to go to any of those gyms in Batesville! JS….

There is never anyone here prior to 6 a.m. I would love to become a black card member and use the spa before I head to work. But there’s no employees here before 6 a.m. imagine how much money this place would make if they prioritized customers that wanted to use the gym before work! Also, how do people pay for merchandise at the front if nobody is there? Food for thought

AWFUL. I came in at 5:40 am on 3/5 and tried to use the tanning beds. I waited TWENTY MINUTES for a worker to show up at the front desk. Walked laps around the gym trying to find anyone working but I guess there was not a single person working. I’m talking not an SINGLE worker. Looked in every possible area. Ended up having to leave. Frustrating paying for a service that you don’t get to use.

I'm training for a competition and needed a gym while I was passing through Oxford. I bought a day pass because this gym had most of what I needed. However, there were some important pieces of equipment that they did not have. A laying leg curl was the biggest one that would expect any gyms to have. All in all, it was an ok experience.

I visit Planet Fitness all over the country. But today I am so outraged that I can't help but leave a negative review. The staff does not welcome, ignores, when I asked do you work here they answered rudely what my problems are. It is very dirty everywhere, there is no paper in the toilets, the locker rooms have not been cleaned for a very long time. I demand that they apply punishment to the guy at the reception who worked on November 6 at 10.15 in the morning, he cannot do this job and it is worth looking for something easier

The staff here is sweet, helpful and more than kind. That is 50%of my experience. The other folks who work out there have been very nice to this nosey old lady. Now, both the friend who dragged me to the gym and I will state emphatically the room with the hydromassage is TOO(ridiculously)COLD!! Other than that Kudos

Extended hours, so I can work out when it's most convenient for me. Long lockers that accommodate pants without having to fold them. Spacious locker room, so I'm not crowded by other people while changing clothes. Typically, no waiting for machines/weights. Well-stocked protein drinks and energy drinks. Friendly staff. Plenty of cardio options.

The staff consists of people with a lot of heart, a lot of passion, and a lot of pride. Truly.

The machines cater to every weak muscle, every problem pound, every stress related area I have… The spa area totally DE-stresses me to a pronominal new me (I’d highly recommend becoming a PF Black Card Member to get this benefit!) The shower curtains were hung way too high and felt like they were an invasion of privacy. At 5'4, anytime I squatted at all to grab my shower products it felt like my private regions were being exposed. And what made it even more uncomfortable was the sign placed in the entryway to the woman's locker room "Male working in Female Locker room" that created a fire hazard and hadn't been removed after they were no longer in the locker room. When I tried to bring the sign being in the way of the entrance to the locker room's to the General Manager who was working at the time, he completely disregarded anything I was trying to say by just saying "Yeah I know. I know." And mumbled the majority of his words. Both my fiancée and I felt incredibly uncomfortable being in the gym and around the general manager and waited in our car for what we were hoping would have been a shift change. When we walked back in the gym in the morning (the rest of this had occurred around 1am) to go use the bathroom. When we walked in, we were glared at by the general manager as we scanned our qr codes.
While this isn't the first manager at a Planet Fitness that dismissed our concerns with their gym if we were able to safely bring them to the general manager, it has by far been the worst interaction with a manager we have had. We've been road tripping for a couple of weeks and have had to consistently stop at Planet for showers and other amenities. We've stopped at Planet Fitness in Arkansas, Mississippi (now), Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, and Lousiana.
I hope they are able to reconsider the way they treat customers and that managers across Planet Fitness are given an extra training on treatment of remote check ins. Nobody should be treated poorly just because they aren't a regular at your gym. Nobody should be treated poorly for bringing up concerns about the gym and the environment that has been created by the employees.
