My wife and I are 70 and 72 years old and on medicare. A black membership (their highest level membership) costs me about $13 a month. My wife can come as a guest for free. While she can't use the massage and infrared machines (I don't use them either), everything else she can enjoy also. So, if you're retired and drawing your social security benefits, you really should check this out. It has helped our mobility and endurance tremendously!

I wanted to update my review since we got a huge equipment upgrade! They added plate-loaded machines like the hack squat I love, a cage with free weights and platform, a plate-loaded bench press, a glute bridge, an additional functional trainer, and more.

The new cable machines are silky smooth, and I really appreciate the magnetic pins that make it easy to add small plates for progressive overload.

Phillip has done a great job since taking over, and my longtime staff favorites are still as friendly and welcoming as ever and the gym is as clean and maintained as ever. Thanks!

I would give it 5 stars cause it’s always super clean and the staff is nice but lately it sucks that EVERYONE that comes here is walking around with a dam tri-pod and cameras just wasting time trying to record. DON’T. DO. IT!
I don’t usually subscribe to these types of membership for fear of continually getting charged, but against my better judgment I joined PF to receive that “awesome” deal they advertise! Long story short, over a year ago I went in canceled my membership because I didn’t have time and wasn’t utilizing it. Then today, I find out it never got canceled… BUT what really irks me is that when I try to cancel AGAIN I got no apology for THEIR mistake, I asked to speak to the district manager about the situation and was told she doesn’t have a phone and she would have to get permission to give me her company email…. Like WHAT!? Eventually the girl gave me her email and now I’ve got to jump through hoops to once again cancel this membership!

1st time using planet fitness. Yesterday I went with a friend who also doesn't regularly use it so she wasnt very familiar with anything but the tanning. Today I used a guest pass hoping I'd get a little tour since the website says thats what you get. The tour I got was "ladies restroom is to the left" as the girl pointed to it from behind the desk. I was kind of hoping for a little more of a tour if our family will be spending over $1000/year here. Facilities were ok otherwise. It is a gym.

Everyone makes fun of Planet fitness but honestly it has everything that I need. I just need cardio equipment. My first time inside I was surprised, it's super clean. Maybe because it's a newer facility, I'm not sure but the gym I go to is super clean. The workers are constantly cleaning, and the showers in the bathroom are really nice. My only complaint about the gym is that it's a judgement free zone but then they judge people doing newer types of workouts. No gallon water bottles and a huge siren that embarrasses someone when they violate a rule. Seems… jugemental? 😂It's a gym, just let it be a gym.

This planet fitness is great but i just have 1 complaint. There is this 1 lady that works there that was cleaning the bathroom today and i asked her can i use the bathroom and she told me i was not allowed because she was cleaning it. So I had to go next door to lowes just to use the bathroom. I really believe she is the only unfriendly person that works their. She could have easily just stepped out for a second to let me use the bathroom then she could have simply went back in. Its not good when i pay for a membership and use my membership every day and cant use the bathroom.

I travel a lot and this is one of my favorite gyms to workout. From the manager down the staff are very attentive, professional, and keep the establishment very clean. There have been issues with equipment but the staff are quick to report it and get someone to fix it as soon as possible. I’ve never had a bad experience or issue with this gym. I have a choice of about 4 gyms in the area and I choose this particular location. From Mobile, Al to Gulfport, MS … this is the best in my opinion.

It was always 5 stars up until a few weeks ago my necklace come up missing after laying in tanning bed ,I took it from my neck an placed it on handle of tanning bed an the next morning I came in an ask an told them exactly he time an asked them to look at their log book an the employee acted strange an said nobody tanned after u an then I said well an employee might of been the one? An jus ignored me an told me to move to help other customers. I think they could of at least been friendly about it .but I gave them a 3 for not very FRIENDLY AND ALSO A 3 BECAUSE VERY CAREFREE WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER CONCERNS.
