The desk staff and instructors are great and deserve a 5 star review. The person in charge of finances needs to consider a different career.

Due to work travel I tried to cancel my membership on December 11 2024. They did not get paperwork processed until January 2 2025 and then they continued to charge me monthly through September 2025. It took 2 in person visits months apart to get them to stop charging me. It took a separate email weeks after the 2nd visit to get them to refund me. Whoever manages their finances is incompetent and the owner should consider hiring someone who actually knows how to keep a ledger and treat their patrons with respect.

Got a day pass, was extremely happy. Weight room has a lot of variety, nautilus equipment was good as well.

The crossfit room had lots of variety.

Didn't use it but they also have a pool, steam room, and a sauna.

The Energy Club is one of the best gyms I've ever been to. It's available 24 hours, so I can go at any time that's convenient for me. The many classes they offer are great, and I especially enjoy the Restorative Yoga class's that Sheryl does, and is great for all ages. Everyone there is so nice and helpful and I love the fact that I can also get a healthy smoothie, bowl, coffee or tea, in a variety of different types and flavors and so good!!! The gym is much bigger than it looks with a sauna, pool, and hot tub. They also have child care if needed. Thank you Energy Club for making me healthier and fit, in my Silver Sneaker years!!! I highly recommend you check it out, there's something for everyone at any age.

Good day everyone. I just got off the phone with Frank. History: I called Frank 3 weeks ago and alerted him that even though I cancelled my membership in person over 2 years ago, your gym has been taking $36 out of my account ever since then. After searching paperwork he said he'd get back to me. Guess what, he didn't. I even left an employee a message for him last week. I called him today. After admitting paperwork has been lost and he hasn't found anything that said I cancelled there's no proof when I came in. Mind you, there was a scanner when I was coming to that gym during covid. He finally admitted he wouldn't give me any refund whatsoever because I should've been aware earlier, taking no responsibility at all. This is sad, but typical of a business in this area. Yes, I was negligent in not checking my account, but so was the gym in not canceling my membership. They withdrew over $1k and won't refund me anything. I will be contacting the BBB. This is just insane. The fact that Frank never returned my call says everything you need to know about his integrity and intentions.

Best Gym on the coast!!! The facility is clean and has so much to offer. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming. I love the classes they offer (specially the yoga) they truly have something for everyone. They also have a nice little smoothie bar where you can pick up a delicious protein shake after a good workout. The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I absolutely love this small town gym :)

I'm a travel nurse that works night shift. This club offered a 3 month membership and has 24 hour access. That's not always easy to find. They had everything I needed, the place was clean. I worked out at night so I never got to use the pool, hot tub, hydration station and I didn't encounter staff since I went after hours....... but it all looked nice on my tour when I joined and everyone was friendly. If I ever work in this area again, I would definitely rejoin this gym!!

I was kicked out of energy club because owner said I got soap subs in jacussi. I was sitting on steps cause jacussi was too hot. I had conditioner in my hair but never got into jacussi was waiting for steam room to penerate my hair with the steam. I left and never came back for 2 months cause you were yelling at me like a child. But today she told one of my kids who go there that soap suds were still in jacussi so u either did not clean tub for 2 months or I snuck in during the night and did it. I AM A VETERAN AND FEEL you totally disrespected me. You also made comments that I am a silver slipper member and Humana don't pay much for seniors so that u were gone give me a warming but since I am a silver sneaker member you suspending my membership. Well that is discrimination against the elderly. Can't tell you how many times I helped elderly clients cause no one was around to help them. I know the Gen z don't think much of us seniors, but u should know better. And maybe u should get in better shape and set a better example of a fit person should look like. I only went there for zumba classes, but I am fit.

This is a goog gym to belong to if you have mobility issues, want to increase your strength, or just need a comfortable gym with a sauna, steam room, and pool. There are water classes, group classes, and personal training. This, to me, is the better gym I've found in the gulf coast.

I absolutely love this gym. Clean facilities. The owners and the staff are fantastic and always helpful. Aside from working out on my own - I take 2 classes, included with membership, and have an AMAZING instructor, Alissa. I've met some awesome people here and look forward to going everyday. I can not stress enough how much I love this gym. We have been here almost 4 months & there is no end in site. Being a mom of 4 the childcare alone is a win. Kristy the morning daycare worker is the most sweetest & loving person you could trust your babies with! The machines are all up-to-date and working well, the gym is well organized, the locker rooms are equipped with a sauna, whirl pool & steam room! A stay at home moms dream 🤣 inside there is the Hydration Station that is DELICIOUS. Melissa who runs it is knowledgeable, personable & all in all a wonderful person. Frank the owner is there daily & Alissa the Spin & HIIT teacher is THE BOMB . COM. My only complaint is that sometimes the sauna isn't already hot when you come in early but what can ya do. 5 isn't enough stars.

Laid back & casual atmosphere offering a variety of options & classes for all fitness levels. A monthly calendar/schedule of classes is provided at the beginning of each month which helps with planning & motivation. The staff, trainers & members are friendly and approachable making it a comfortable & fun place to be. Added bonus- you can pay up front for 3 months at a time and not have a draft to keep up with. 5 stars for the gym overall; however, I think the “pool rules” stating no kids or anyone not doing their class, is allowed to be in the pool from 8:40-11:00 five days a week is ridiculous. I brought my son, who’s 5th birthday is today, to the pool this morning (unaware of the classes) I seen rules posted but I thought it would be okay if we were quite and to ourselves. I told him and his 2 year old brother to stay only by me and the steps, where people were not by us, and they did for about 5 minutes. Then the rude instructor comes up to me and says kids are not allowed in the pool when there is classes. I said it’s his birthday today and he wanted to go to the pool this was the only time we could have went today. I asked if we had to leave and she said yes. Multiple people in the class requested for them to be able to stay because literally we were not bothering anyone. I think it’s ridiculous to block off the pool for that long. Anyone should be allowed to use the pool as long as they are not distributing the class and keeps to themselves, like we were.

The air quality is bad, the building is falling apart (literally the ceiling is coming down in the women's section), the weight equipment is old. Tears in equipment, snapped cables, old machines. There's only spray sanitizer in the main cardio room. I appreciate the cost of running a small business. I know it's hard to compete with upkeep on larger chains, but the difference between this building abd equipment and a place like Planet Fitness is kind of shocking. We came once and won't be back unfortunately. 2 stars for offering so much in the facility. I really wanted to like it! Please let us know if you update the place.

Have never used the gym and they continue to charge my card. They also ignore my emails. Beware. Also, I moved out of town so of course they require I show up in person to “cancel” lol. Basically they will never cancel my membership and will continue to try to charge my card. Also, “magically” they don’t receive costumer emails sent directly through their contact forms lol. I cannot recommend The Energy Club enough. As a stay at home with a spouse that travels for work, the childcare provided there has been a life saver. Some days my gym visit is the only “me” time I get. I think every parent should take advantage of that benefit and it is the only gym locally that offers childcare. The gym staff and childcare staff are amazing. We love to use the indoor heated pool too. Pool time is a favorite for my kids. When hurricane Zeta knocked out our electricity we did not have hot water for days. The Energy club opened up as soon as was safe so we were able to have hot showers and feel some normalcy amongst the chaos after a damaging storm. The Energy Club is family owned and they really do treat their members like family.

LOVE this place! It's like a mini YMCA better because the staff ate very personable and know who you are when you walk in the door. Open 24/7. I like the family atmosphere of the gym, but they need to up their maintenance. Also... no one at the gym cleans equipment after they use it. It really grosses me out. Not the gyms fault to be exact, but they should discourage people from not cleaning after themselves. I would honestly suggest another gym if you don’t have a need to take kids with you. I like the comfort of knowing if I need to bring my kid along, I can. He’s part of my membership and likes to work out with me on occasion.
