I recently completed a series of swim lessons at TBS with Amarie, Lacey and Karson, it was a fantastic experience! The instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging, which made a huge difference and I became confident in the water. Over just a few lessons, I progressed from being afraid to put my face in the water to swimming short distances independently. The facility was clean, and class sizes were small enough for personalized attention. I Highly recommend TBS to anyone looking for quality swim instruction! Thank you all much Porsha Vaughn

My 7 year old autistic boy enjoys water, but is totally afraid of water being in his face. Because he enjoys water, and visits water parks, pools, and beaches often, it is a must that he has safety rules and respects the fun and dangers of water.
Kiana and Mesha have done an excellent job communicating with us. I knew they truly cared and respected my concerns about my baby’s fears. They accommodated our needs to the max. Each coach we had totally was different but well trained to teach each child at their levels and comforts in the water.
I highly recommend them for all your swimming needs. Please give them a try, and hopefully, we will see you in the water next summer.
Thanks to the entire team. You all were great.

This school was amazing for my nonverbal 6 year old son! The trainer Amari was very patient we went from screaming to actually enjoying water!
Our first 8 lessons were for water safety and fundamentals kicking feet moving arms!
We will Definetly be returning before the summer is out!
Water safety includes what to do if you fall in accidentally ; what to do if you no longer can touch the bottom, how to get out the pool safely; not having a fear of water and lastly always make sure you parent is present!
Thank you all so much for asking about my child’s condition and suggesting private lessons this helped!

My two children recently started a series of swim lessons with Mr. Joe, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the very first session, Mr. Joe demonstrated patience, professionalism, and a genuine passion for teaching kids how to swim.
He quickly built a strong rapport with both of my children, creating a fun and safe learning environment. His clear instructions, positive encouragement, and ability to adjust his teaching style to match each child’s confidence level made a huge difference in their progress.

0/10 I would NOT RECOMMEND‼️‼️‼️
I switched my son over to this company for swimming lessons ONLY because his first instructor didn’t have any more availability for the month of May! So instead of him creating a fear of water I decided to place him here to continue his training.
KIANNA who was SUPPOSED to be his trainer decided to ask me “DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE A HYPER ISSUE OR AUTISM” because of his “attention span” meanwhile not only is he THREE he is a BOY who is happy to swim!
Well if i informed your assistant that he had just left another instructor you would know that he already has another texhnique inbeded in his head so hes going to try and do those techniques !
She continued to lie and say i only asked because we specialize in those type if children! WELL IF HE WAS DONT YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE SELECTED THAT OPTION! Dont play stupid in my face! Because you just said your reasoning is because his attention span is off!
During the lessons she asked my to sit down TWICE saying that “in her SEVEN years of training “ it’s known to make the children nervous!
You don’t know him from a can of paint! & if you did know him you know he does his best when me my mama or his dad is there cheering him on!

Total Body Submersion the owner Kiana Pauline is a very compassionate and a “willing to do”instructor in and out of the water. She’s willing to work with your schedule and to make sure you’re getting what she’s teaching for you and your child if it’s swim lessons or water aerobics. My son started with Ms. Pauline when he was 8 years of age and she took her time while learning the fundaments and now all he want to do is swim. Kiana’s like a water whisperer. Even now at 13 he loves to show off while diving in the deep end treading and doing back strokes in the swimming pool. She has been my water aerobics instructor for 4 years. Not only is it for fitness. It’s helps me strengthen my knees for joint pain and it really does help working out in the water vs on land… Kiana Pauline is the truth…

My 8 year old non-verbal autistic son has been doing swim lessons on and off since he was 2 with an initial scare of the water but eventually fell in love with swimming as the one activity he love even more than YouTube kids! He was actually swam this summer in the deeper portion of the pool and Kiani with her staff have been patient with him every step of the way. Highly recommended for any person any age!!!

STRIKE #1: Schedule session for July 23rd was canceled. However, I did NOT receive an email, text message, or phone call stated that the session was canceled due to the rain (no lightening). I write the owner, Kiana via facebook to explain to her that I was at the pool for the lesson. Let me mentioned I drove 20 plus miles and had to get a baby sitter to be able to attend this session. Kiana expressed that everyone was notified. I then was directed to her secretary, the woman informed me “my number was wrong in the system”. This is my issue…
MY NUMBER NOR EMAIL WAS WRONG IN THE SYSTEM WHEN THEY REACHED OUT TO ME TO SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENTS AND WHEN THE INVOICE WAS SENT.
Kiana, willingly (without me asking or suggesting) decided to offer me SEMI-PRIVATE lessons due to the inconvenience. I accepted the offer due to it being closer to where I live and more accessible.
SILVER LINING: FIRST SESSION WAS AMAZING. HER SISTER IS A REALLY GOOD TRAINER.
STRIKE #2: I arrived to my second session, which was scheduled for an hour. I spent time in the pool for 30 minutes, with no instructions or anything. I notified both instructors that I was scheduled for an hour and was not receiving any instructors. One instructor informed me that she was giving lessons to a child who was Autistic and that this particular child’s lessons were only 30 minutes. The other instructor, continued to train his person. As a person who has worked with children and has a child of my own, I became extremely understanding and waited until the child’s lessons were over to start mine.
However, I was only provided 30 minutes of instructions. Again, great lesson by the 2nd trainer. But only 30 minutes of instructions were provided.
I waited a few days to write Kiana to be completely transparent with her about the quality of services I was receiving in regards to the time.
STRIKE #3: KIANA is as UNPROFESSIONAL as it get. She response back to me a few times via messenger and voice messenger. She was extremely RUDE in voice messages, which she deleted once I called her out on it. She made it seem as if I paid for group lessons and was expecting private lessons treatment out of spite. MAAM, you offered that as a courtesy to the miscommunication, so that’s what I expected.
AND HERE GOES THE BIG ONE:
STRIKE #4: ONE OF THE TRAINERS, LIED.. AND SAID THAT I BECAME OVERSTIMULATED WITH THE KID CRYING…. (NO KIDS WERE CRYING)… NO, I became frustrated because of the lack of communication and was being completely ignored as if I was there to just hang out and float in the pool, when in reality I paid for lessons just as everyone did.
I AM NOW PISSED BECAUSE YOU INSULTED MY CHARACTER BY REPEATING THAT LIE. I would NEVER become frustrated because a kid is crying, I don’t even become frustrated when my own kid cry. So SAVE IT.
I expressed to her over our phone conversation, that I am extremely pissed off and that I would be leaving a review. She suggested that if I didn’t leave a review that she would refund me my money.
This was NEVER about the money, it’s the PRINCIPLE.
BUT i will still be speaking with PAYPAL, so they can refund me my money, KIANA.

Two of my family members and I just completed the grant funded swim lessons in the Crystal Springs area. Our town is thankful for Kiana’s hard work and dedication towards ensuring that more people of color learn how to swim. I witnessed participants go from being terrified of putting their heads in the water to actually swimming at the end of the 8 day course. After completing the course, I am more confident in my freestyle swimming and I learned how to swim on my back. I also successfully floated a few times, which has always been difficult for me. I hope to one day swim as graceful as Kiana.
Kiana has a great product and her brand will continue to grow. She has a smile that will light up the room and a heart that desires others to grow. Thank you Kiana ❤️
