Great laid back positive gym. One of the features I have enjoyed most here is the phone app. It tells you roughly how many people are in the gym at a given time so if you are just trying to get accumulated to the setting you are able to see the best times to do so. Has everything you would need to get to where you want to be but ultimately that depends on personal desire.

Ok most people I talk to say it is a strip mall with not many options inside. I agree to disagree. You cant argue with results. I have lost 135lbs going to this gym for a year almost everyday. Yes most of that is dedication but i dont feel like the exercise options are limited at all. Super friendly members, the owner is totally dedicated to her business. It is always clean. Best of all there no judgment no matter where you are in your weight loss or body building journey. The place inspires you to also be dedicated to taking care of the place and yourself. It is truly my gym home and i dont see me changing "anytime" (pun intended) soon. There are others out there but this one is my home. Yes you can go to any one of them globally but i can tell you this one here in nixa is one of a kind.

I inquired online about a (free, no obligation 7-day trial pass) to see if I was going to like the gym and get a chance to try it before making any commitments. I met with the owner Marsha to get started and after a brief tour she explained the costs of membership and also that the free no obligation trial pass wasn’t free, it costs $25 (non-refundable) and that I was obligated to purchase a key of some kind to use the free trial pass. Hmm seems a lot like completely false advertising doesn’t it! At that point weather or not I was going to upgrade the free trial pass to a regular membership wasn’t a question in my mind anymore because the owner immediately lost my trust and therefore my business. 🤷🏼‍♂️ My advice would be to avoid this place. In my experience it was a waist of my time and a disappointment. I’m going to go ahead and call anytime fitnesses corporate office to see if this is how they are allowing it’s franchise owners to represent their company and it’s promotions.

Posted staffed hours on website differ from what the door says. First time we tried to sign up, there was a sign over the staffed hours sign saying they wouldn’t be there that day. Tried the next day because the website said it was staffed Friday, not there because hours on door say they never there on Friday. Tried again 2 more times to get in to set up membership to find that we were flat getting out of work too late at 5 even though sign said otherwise. At this point I’d just rather overpay and go somewhere that has their ducks in a row.

The nixa location is amazing! Marsha the owner is wonderful, nice and very helpful! They keep it very clean. They also have plenty of equipment and at least 2 bathrooms per gender with showers. They are always willing to help and explain stuff to you if you dont understand how to do something or how to work a machine! It's a spectacular place! My go to workout place!

This is really a wonderful fitness club! Having been a member of many different gyms, I can say this was by far the cleanest and friendliest gym I've ever been to! The owner is very kind and welcoming and you can see she truly takes pride in this place! The cardio equipment is well maintained, there are a fair amount of strength resistant machines, and a large free weight are, and a stretching area! Has everything you could need!

My boyfriend and I are here 3 or 4 times a week. Everytime we come in we always feel welcomed and comfortable. The manager has always gone out of his to accommodate our requests when he could. I highly recommend coming here to workout when you can!!

I have been a member since 2012 and I highly recommend this gym. I have been a member of a lot of different gyms, and this is by far my favorite. I joined a different gym in the area that was a few bucks cheaper, that was a big mistake. As soon as that contract was up I came back to Anytime Fitness. The staff and the members are great, couldn't ask for anything more.

It has been years since I went to the gym. However I finally decided to focus on my health and get back into the gym.

I love this gym! Our last place was super small and crowded, but there is zero issue with that here. No one bugs me during my workout and I never feel like there's not enough equipment or space to do what I need. It's always incredibly clean and the staff is unlike any gym I've ever gone to. The gym itself is decent, but the atmosphere is aggressive. The staff is not very helpful. When signing up be very careful to not fall victim to their contracts. I signed up with a zero commitment only to find out I was wrangled into a contract later when I tried to quit the gym because I was moving away. Now I have a blemish on my credit report because of this, and I can find no one with the company to discuss or help me with it. All they want is your money.

We've been with Anytime for 3 or so years now. The gym has always been kept impeccably clean and it smells fresh when you walk in. I feel very safe there since the door is controlled by a fob entry key system. I like the optional panic buttons so if I'm alone there and someone happens to come in who is threatening I can click the button and help will be dispatched. The bathrooms have full showers which is really nice for those who workout early and then go on to work. The owner really takes pride in his gym and the staff are always enthusiastic and smiling. The gym isn't exactly my favorite pastime, I do it because I know it's important to stay fit, and Anytime provides motivation I need to get over there and just work out! I never regret our decision to join Anytime. The monthly fee is fair and you really get what you pay for - tons of equipment, lots of open space/room to stretch or do your own workout thing, on demand workout videos, spinning bikes, weight machines, tons of cardio equipment, a full cable cross over, a corner cable cross machine, and free weights from 5-100 lbs ensures you can always get the equipment you need.
