I been a member of Blush fitness for over 2-3yrs and decided to try out this location and even brought my niece so she could check out the gym and decide if she wants to apply. However, as soon as we open the door we were greeted by this old lady and with a very rude approach starts interrogating us about our memberships. I got my membership at the Overland Park location and according to the membership policy I am allowed to go to any location I desire. Then this old lady at Lee’s summit writes down my name and start searching and apparently my info doesn’t come up and starts saying that they don’t get paid for members who apply at other locations. Which is not my problem!!! I am paying every month for my service. Terrible customer service! I won’t ever be going back to this location and definitely have my niece apply to another gym including myself. I felt it was really disrespectful of her to behave that way towards us and will be canceling my membership. I do not appreciate this type of service. Made me feel so uncomfortable to be there. And I won’t be paying for a place that makes me feel like this. Definitely do not recommend this place!! Terrible customer service.

I’d been a member at Genesis for years prior to joining Blush. I was looking for something of a community after having my second daughter. Between reviews and Facebook it sounded like it was where I needed to be. It was disappointing from the start. On one of my first days in the gym I was on the treadmill with another member next to me. She engaged in convo and I asked her what the HIIT classes were like. She responded by telling me that she was “too advanced” for those classes but probably be good for me. She didn’t know I’d just had a baby 3 months prior but man, that didn’t feel like the supportive community I’d read about online. I decided it was just one negative Nancy and moved on. But the more time I spent there it was very apparent that there was community and connection there but that community was cliquey and not real inclusive. I regularly felt like I was in the way or taking up space. One morning I was in the middle of my squat set at the rack and the hiit trainer asked me if I was almost done because so and so needed to use it - as she pointed to one of the girls in the group.
A friend of mine had joined as well with the benefits of childcare but again - if you’re not in the clique you may be turned away from childcare.
Cancelling seems to be a common challenge - I always struggled with as well. I followed the contact and emailed them. Then emailed them again. Then asked them how to cancel via Instagram - where they directed me to email them. Finally after three emails and an Instagram message I was able to cancel.

Overall, this gym was just not the vibe.

this place NEVER answers the phone none of my questions can be answered ever, i call as soon as the office hours open, in the middle of the day and im constantly sent to voice mail, how do i get a member ship if they can’t even answer the phone to answer a question makes me think they’re totally unorganized i heard great things but no one is ever available to answer the phone like….ever ?

Great gym, super quiet! But absolutely terrible trying to cancel with. They also move classes a lot and the trainers seem a little new. If it wasn’t for the frustrating time canceling my membership and having to BUY MY OWN MEMBERSHIP OUT I would have great things to say.

I hate this gym it is awful I want to cancel but they won’t let me. No ab machines and is such a tiny gym it charges me way more than consented. I don’t recommend this gym to any women if you want an honest workout. It crams me and anytime I’ve needed help no one is at the phone to help consult me because the workers are not usually there.

Trainers workers even the owner is very personable and loves to push women to try new things and do things that seem hard. I had not worked out in years when I started this gym and now I feel like I am confident enough to go to any gym with the skills that I’ve learned I’m so much stronger. I’m so much healthier and that’s just in a few months on top of that if your mom There is childcare available available in certain hours, which is a game changer not only is it good for you to get a break but the kids actually do like it

BLUSH FITNESS is simply the best all women’s club around! Everyone is so friendly, it’s so clean and has top of the line equipment! My kids are older but I know so many women that take advantage of the babysitting as well!! Highly recommend 10/10!
