I absolutely love this studio for classes! It’s not the most diverse clientele that comes here and can be very cramped, but is an affordable and fun experience for everyone.
I did knock back a star because the hours are… confusing. I just wanted to buy a gift card but even if there’s about to be a class, it doesn’t mean they are “open” or that the person at the door can sell you anything. And before anyone responds to my post about digital gift cards, I know I can buy them, but I wouldn’t be coming to the studio if I wanted that haha. So just keep in mind that if you’re wanting to casually buy merch and you’re not taking a class, it’s a little hard to get in there and figure out when they’re actually open.

Very welcoming and inviting! This studio is kept clean and organized. I've done many different classes with different instructors here and had a positive experience in all of them. The classes are accommodating for all levels and there's lots of options given. It's also very community-oriented - accessible (only $10 a class and there are often other discounts) and understanding. It can be a bit tight in the studio at times and parking can be difficult to find.

Brick City Yoga is an absolute gem, and the Deep Stretch class with Shreya is truly next-level. Her calming presence, intentional instruction, and deep knowledge of the body make every session feel like a reset—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I walk in carrying tension and stress, and leave feeling grounded, open, and renewed. The studio itself is warm, welcoming, and inclusive—truly a sanctuary in the city. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting out, this class is a must. Shreya has a gift, and I’m so grateful to have found this space!

I love Brick City Yoga! Every instructor I’ve had so far has been terrific. To top it off, they offer every thing you need for a class: mats, blocks, straps, blankets, you name it!

I started coming last month, and I can’t wait to try out all of their classes. The Vinyasa Flow class is my favorite so far, I try to go to it at least once a week.

Brick City is hands down the best yoga studio I've ever been to! They have a lot of class options, provide all the materials you need (mats, support blocks, blankets, bolsters, etc.), and the staff are always knowledgeable and friendly! They also have some of the most competitive prices for fitness classes in the STL area. Can't recommend it enough!

Brick City Yoga has been the best experience I’ve ever had! Jamie is a phenomenal instructor, and I’ve taken many of her classes—her mat Pilates and reformer sessions are my favorites. The whole vibe of the studio is incredible, creating such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Jamie says it best at the beginning of every class; We are in practice, not perfection, and that mindset has completely changed how I view my body when I work out. Such a positive experience—there aren’t enough words to truly express how much I love this place!

Brick City Yoga is the best and I highly recommend it for people who have never done yoga and want to try it out. I had not been to a gym or studio in years when I went for my first class, and I felt very at home thanks to the kind instructors who greeted me and showed me around. As an overweight, middle-aged woman, I was very intimidated to try a class, since a lot of spaces can be unwelcoming if you aren’t already a little fit, but I immediately saw all body types, ages, and genders in class with me. If you are thinking of going, just do it. I highly recommend the Basics class with Stephanie for beginners, Restorative with Kate if you are limited in mobility or strength, and Deep Stretch if you are just too tight in all the wrong places.

I’ve been going to BCY for about 2 months now and love so much about this studio! I love Grace’s vinyasa class on Sunday’s and how creative her transitions and waves are. I also love that each class I’ve taken is full or nearly full because I love practicing in a big room with a big community of people! It feels both cozy and motivating!

I’m so glad I stumbled upon their booth at Tower Grove Pride last year. I’ve been wanting to get into a yoga studio and really work on my practice. The instructors I’ve taken classes with have been great and really let you set your own pace. I’m still fairly new to yoga and I’m loving it (I hate exercise typically). I also did a Pilates reformer class and that was quite interesting as well I can’t wait to take another one. Definitely try this welcoming, inclusive establishment out.

Brick City Yoga is the bees knees of studios from the abundance of props to the locker room all the way down to the cleanliness - THE bees knees. The REAL beauty of this studio is safety. I feel safe once inside the studio, during class and within the community. I have taken all my classes with yoga teacher Jamie Lemons and having practiced yoga most of my life and been to several studios, guided by various teachers, I can say, hands down, without a doubt, I would and will follow Jamie Lemons to any studio not only because of her high value yoga guidance but also her integrity not only with her professionalism as a yoga instructor yet also her integrity with being at places that match her high value as a human.... and that says a great deal about her and Brick City Yoga.

I love this studio! It is clean, spacious, and stocked with great props. They offer a variety of classes and have many different instructors so you can find what best suits you. I recommend Brick City Yoga to all my friends!

Lauren has been one of my favorite instructors. She emphasizes autonomy in your practice and encourages modifications to make the most out of your time on the mat. Her classes are perfect for beginners or experienced yogis as she suggests many different versions of the same pose/ flow while encouraging you to find what sensation/challenge works best for your body.

I like that Lauren offers a lot of verbal and hands on instruction (only if you opt in) during the class while never making you feel rushed or like you’re doing the “wrong” movement. I also enjoy her guided meditations at the beginning/ end of class. She brings in outside resources like poems, affirmations, and songs to connect to your daily life and help you practice mindfulness.

I went once with a partner who has more yoga experience than me. And they we're more disappointed than me because the class did not feel like yoga expiriemces they had in the past.. I would describe the atmosphere as not very beginner friendly (at least in this class which was labeled as good for beginners) and very athletic vs spiritual (which might be a plus for some people). I'm sorry I can't remember which class it was. But it was very fast paced and hard to keep up with and neither of us felt very zen, and it was not supposed to be a fast flow class. I got a good workout! But it is not what we were looking for. Also the studio has gotten really popular and so the tiny city space was just crammed and there was really no space to stretch out without hitting the person next to you! If you decide to go, go early or you might get a really bad spot.

My husband and I have been members of two yoga studios and have attended classes from Illinois to Colorado. Brick City Yoga studio offers a balance of yoga classes that are focused on flow, strength and aerobics. The instructors are well trained and always always always prepared! Another positive about Brick City is the workshops. The nice thing is that the workshops aren’t only focused on poses but also on a deeper understand of yoga philosophies and traditions. The owner and her instructors have completed professional and personal in-depth studies of these traditions. Lastly when they tell you they are open to suggestions and requests, they are!!!

Brick City Yoga is such an asset. This is an inclusive, welcoming space. Classes are affordable (comparatively) and the studio frequently offers deals that make them even more affordable.

This is a great place to slow down, stretch out, get grounded, and feel more connected with your community.

The studio is spacious and comfortable. There is also a cute little shop up front that stocks some yoga accessories and attire.

First time here and took the Vinyasa Flow with Grace. The studio is quaint and clean. Grace’s instruction was cohesive. I appreciate she was student focused and provided just the right balance between challenging yourself and taking alternate positions. I will definitely be back again.

Brick City Yoga is one of my favorite places in Saint Louis. I started going to classes here a year ago and I am so grateful for the benefits it’s had for me personally. I feel stronger physically and emotionally. I’ve found a sense of community that I didn’t have before. I love that they are involved in making the world a better place. Classes are fairly priced and the studio has equipment to help make yoga practice accessible. The teachers are all wonderful and the variety of classes make it easy to find what you need, whether it’s a more intense flow or something more chill. I am so grateful we have a space like this in STL.

I had such a great experience at Brick City Yoga! I was in town for the weekend and searching for a drop-in class. I was choosing between BCY and another studio, and I chose correctly! Very welcoming and inclusive environment and the entire space is peaceful and clean. Our instructor Hannah was very friendly and her class was excellent. This will be my spot whenever I visit STL again.

I have had so many great experiences at Brick City Yoga, it’s unfortunate that it has taken me so long to write this review. The studio is clean and welcoming, the instructors are true pros who care deeply about their practice, and the schedule offers a variety of styles of yoga to appeal to beginners and seasoned veterans alike. Benton Park is lucky to have such a great studio. And a particularly warm shout out to Katie, who teaches Yoga+Barre and a deep stretch class. Katie’s great.

I love the location and vibe of Brick City Yoga. The studio is charming and so welcoming and warm. Ladder Flow is my favorite class. The flows are beautiful and thoughtfully constructed so that you see and feel the progression. While it is physically challenging, modifications are offered and Lauren continually encourages you to commit to yourself. There’s a wonderful feel of community within the class as we all lean into the challenge and flow. I feel centered and stronger at the end of each class. It’s a beautiful release and accomplishment.

Best yoga studio in StL! The owner is welcoming and so easy to communicate with, plus her inclusive and accessible approach to yoga stands out among all the other studios where I've practiced.
I've sampled several of the classes but Katie's are my favorite by far! She has great energy and takes the time to check in before/during/after class to ensure everyone is doing what is best for them. Her Yoga + Barre is perfect for a serotonin boost during...well, everything happening in the world. 5+ stars!

I am a baby boomer, retired from healthcare. As I age, I realize an increased need to maintain strength, flexibility and balance. Yoga does all these things. Anyone benefits from yoga but during the aging process, remaining independent, nurturing a greater quality of life can make all the difference. At Brick City, the instructors emphasize that each individual should move at his/her own pace, do what is comfortable in your own unique body. I would like to see more “boomers” taking charge of their own health.

Brick City is truly one of the best studios in the STL area. The studio space itself is beautiful and always clean. Every instructor I have taken class with makes the sequence accessible for all students so each person gets what they need out of the class. The owner and instructors are also doing everything they can with COVID guidelines to make sure everyone is safe and also still able to practice! Oh, and their apparel is also GREAT! I would recommend Brick City to anyone and cannot wait to go back!

Brick City Yoga is amazing. Years ago I had a an extremely negative and judgemental experience at a yoga studio, so I was hesitant to try again. I'm so glad I did. The instructors at Brick City Yoga are not only skilled, but affirming and compassionate. My skill level is growing at a pace I didn't think possible, and I'm feeling so much better in my body. I look forward to every class I take, and I'm so grateful for them.

My girlfriend and I have been taking Andi’s Thursday and Sunday Slow Flow class and loving it. We are obsessed and both bought class cards after trying our first class. The studio is full of light and feels spacious with high ceilings and windows. I feel truly comfortable here as a fat, visibly gay woman in an exercise class, which is a rare experience. All the staff and fellow students I have interacted with have been so friendly and welcoming. Andi’s class is slow and gentle but at times a little challenging for me as I’m just getting back into yoga; she constantly gives modifications and affirmations in class so that there isn’t any weird energy or judgement around needing to do your own thing or modify a pose for a while. I am so glad I have found a space to continue my journey of developing a positive, healthy relationship with exercise and physical activity! Social distancing is enforced in class and everyone practices with mask on, so I feel good about attending in person classes during the pandemic. I can’t wait to try some more classes at Brick City!

I LOVE Brick City! It’s become my little oasis when I need to just breathe and take a moment for myself. I moved back to St. Louis during the pandemic and needless to say it was stressful. After the first time I went to Brick City for in person class I knew THIS was my place. I love all of the teachers (especially Andi) and Kate the owner is so wonderful. They have truly created a safe space (physically and emotionally) where everyone can come and be a part of the yoga community ♥️

Brick City Yoga is welcoming and accessible for all people and all levels of experience. It's the only yoga studio where I've felt really comfortable. The owner, Kate, learned my name after maybe my second visit. She's built a supportive community with excellent instructors, affordable pricing, and care and concern for the safety and well-being of everyone. I especially appreciate the focus on social justice and inclusion at Brick City, and I'm so glad I found this place.

Brick City Yoga is a safe haven! I was nervous to attend yoga classes with the unknowns of the pandemic but Kate & her team have gone above and beyond to create an inclusive, vibrant, relaxing, and CDC safe atmosphere. Brick City Yoga is amazing! I have attended yoga elsewhere, and I know what it feels like to not fit in, and this studio is the opposite of that. BCY shines in inclusivity! Every time I enter the studio, I immediately feel welcomed and at ease. The owner, Kate, and the instructors always make me feel comfortable in their space. I was hesitant to attend in person class with COVID, but BCY is following all guidelines to keep everyone safe, and I truly appreciate it!

This is the best yoga studio in St. Louis. The owner is incredibly friendly, and every class I’ve attended, no matter the instructor, is fun, inclusive, and a great workout. I appreciate the following of mask requirements and CDC recommendations, and they’ve been upfront about the rules so no one is surprised by their polices (or no one should be, if they read.) As long as I live in St. Louis I’ll continue to attend classes when I can - great instructors, friendly staff, incredible value for the price. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Brick City Yoga is a studio that has been doing its due diligence during the pandemic. I started attending this studio because they offered safe, clean, and friendly in-studio classes. Each teacher that I have practiced with were all kind and considerate while explaining the expectations around the COVID-19 protocols. In addition to expectations, teachers and owner were very understanding if the flows needed to be slowed down or paused to step away from your mat to catch a breath in the bathroom were needed due to the masks. Brick City is such a wonderful studio and courageous to forge a path through the uncertainty that is COVID.

When I became a student at Brick City Yoga, I was so glad to find this gem. The variety of workshops, topics, pop-up events, and class formats cannot be beat. I've never been to a studio with so much variety, inclusivity, and acceptance. BCY embraces yogas roots, introduces you to yoga philosophy (very important aspect of the practice) and is actively involved in the community. This is a great studio community. It is a COVID Conscious studio which is a plus, and drop in rate is $10! Highly recommend!!! 🧡🧡
